Debbie- Great to see you at check in. Nice job with upper body premix of High Reps that is a good one and I love the abs section too! I hope all is well with your mom. How's her vision now? How's her hip? I hope all is well with her. You should consider seeing the doctor for your self to find out what is going on with you right now. Please take care and be well. Belinda- Great workout as usual with SBF UB + Core = 20 min + Upper Body 7 = 15 min is done. Wow and you had a root canal today too! You are amazing girlfriend. Glad you had a great dentist that took good care of you. So the nerve causing all the tooth pain is now gone, that is awesome. I know you said you will have to go back in a month for stage two. I hope you are not too sore or in pain from today's procedure and hopefully as you said no tooth pain. Get some rest and take it easy. Have a blessed day!:);)

Roxie- I'm glad you posted an update on your MIL wow, they sent her home out of the ICU, I'm stunned. Yes, I agree with you someone should stay with her for a few days I would think just to be on the safe side. I will keep praying for her to be well. You're a good DIL to be concerned for her well being. I see you did workout today with AOLIH from Xtrain, bravo and high fives. You are amazing girlfriend that you managed a workout in the midst of all that. Good for you! Please take care and get some rest and have a blessed stress free day. :);)

Today I did Yoga Focus and did the Strength yoga workout, I think I'm going to try to add yoga in once a week if possible. I'd like to do it twice a week but I know how that goes. I feel good and my muscles were so tight when I started. I forget how good yoga makes me feel, I'm not sure why I keep getting away from it.

So I did call and make an appointment for my knee. It's on the 10th, the same day my mom has a follow up on her hip and at the same place so that worked out well. I'll finally find out what is causing all this pain. Kind of scared to find out, I don't want to go through surgery.

Chris - I'm so sorry to hear all the stuff you are going through with your son. I sure hope counseling helps. Prayers out to you and your family!!

Belinda - Glad your root canal went well. I had one a while ago and it was nothing. It just sounds bad.

Nora - My mom is doing ok, she has brusitis in her hip and we've been back and forth to the hip doctor for the past few weeks. She got a cortizone shot Monday and is doing much better. Her vision isn't much better and the doctors finally said they think her optic nerve was damaged with the tumor she had. So she is just dealing with it now.

Roxie - Sorry you are stressed. Hope that goes away!!!

Good morning,

Well, once the numbness wore off I was in a lot of pain. Thank goodness, she gave me a lot of good pain killers. I took it easy and relaxed all afternoon. I assume, I will be in pain for a few day's? I will call the doc this afternoon.

Today I will do SBF LB Barre = 30 min + Adv. Quick Hiit = 10 min

Hello!

Today I did Crossfire Plyo Tabata premix and then abs from Amy Dixon's Core Cuts and added on TF's Stretch 10. My legs are moderately sore from yesterday's STS Legs! The stretching felt good.

Roxie, nice job on Xtrain weights! Is you MIL home alone , then? What ended up happening with that?

Debbie, you're right, stretching and yoga always feel great. I remember when all you did was yoga, and eventually tired of it, but it's great to do 1-2 x a week. I agree. Glad you got your appt. for that xray.

Belinda, hope the pain is better!

Thanks everyone for the good thoughts regarding my son. It's the stress of my life the past few years that has just gotten worse the last few months. I pray it helps him AND us too. Because next step is the juvenile court system, and I really do not want to go down that road. But we will if we have to.

I did Xtrain Bis & Tris today and my planks.

Chris-MIL went home and no one stayed with her. DH is the youngest of 3 and the only boy his sisters do whatever their mother wants. I hope everything works out with your son.

Nora-good job with your workout.

Belinda-if you had a root canal there really shouldn't be that much pain.

Debbie-glad to hear they are going to look at your knee.
 
Today I did Cardio Coach #1 and had a pretty good workout. I try to be really careful with running since my knee feels like it swells up while I'm running. It doesn't hurt when I run, though, which is really odd? I hope it's nothing too serious, I'll guess I'll find out on the 10th.

Workout was 35 minutes, ran 2 miles and burned 311 calories.

Roxie - well, they did went down into my roots. I didn't feel anything while she did the root canal, but once the meds wore off was a different story. It's much better today, I think it was all that drilling and digging into my roots. She had to take out 2 damaged nerves. Good job yesterday.

I did Lean Legs and Abs today and will do planks later. I am hoping my new KCM is here today.

Belinda-when I get a root canal the shot place usually hurts the most and the last 2 I have had done they must have forgotten a nerve because it still hurts to eat on my right side even with crowns. I caved and pre-ordered don't know why.

Nora-good job with your workout and I am sure her daughters have checked in on her.

Kelly Coffey Meyer text me and wanted to know how I liked the new Kettlebell workout and since I didn't get it until late this afternoon I thought I would give it a try for her I did the first workout and it was tough I need a heavier kettlebell I only have and 8 for the standing work but for the floor work that was enough.
 
Today I did STS Total Body but only did the Upper Body Premix. Had a pretty good workout. Went a little lower in weights since the last time I did this one. This is what I did:

Triset #1
Flat Bench Barbell Press
- 50# - 16 reps
Chest Flyes - 15's - 16 reps
Lying Tricep Extension
- 8's - 16 reps
Repeat with 12 reps
(The Lying Tricep Extensions were supposed to be Dips, but dips seem to irritate my shoulder so I just don't do them anymore.)

Burn Sets
Close Grip Pushups
- 8 reps
Standard Pushups - 16 reps

Triset #2
Barbell Curls
- 20# - 16 reps
One Arm Row - 20# - 16 reps
Standing Dumbbell Curls - 12's - 16 reps
Repeat with 12 reps
(The Barbell Curls were supposed to be Barbell Rows, but I don't think there is enough bicep work in this workout so I changed it.)

After my coffee I will do SBF Barre 18 = 30 min + Waist/legs = 15 min. BTW, I been walking the dogs every day too.

Roxie - you always can use a dumbbell instead. Glad you liked it! I didn't feel a thing, not even the shot. She numbed me up good! Didn't feel a thing 2 hours after the root canal, once the numbness wore off I was in a lot of pain. My gums hurt like crazy. I still have some discomfort around the tooth. Can't brush my teeth on that side? Not sure, what this is all about. Still can't bite on it either. She said, it would take a few days. We shall see! LOL, on preordering!

Thanks Nora! I think the worst if over, still have some discomfort on that tooth? Good job yesterday.

Happy Halloween everyone. I did Studio Sweat Part 1 Spin my body is shot for today.

Belinda-the area where the put the shot usually takes me a week to not feel and if it gets infected its even worse. Hopefully when they put the crown on it will help you. Good job with your workout and the walks.

Roxie - I had my dentist put the crown on 4 weeks ago, the same tooth needed a root canal. When I had the root canal, the crown stayed. She drilled a hole on top and pulled the nerves out and refilled it. She never took the crown off? Nice job on the spinning today. BBL!

I got mine yesterday too but probably won't get to review it until this weekend. I think I should be ok on KB weight ranges I have 10, 15, & 20. That is good to know though about possibly needing different weight ranges would be nice to have on hand. I bet the workout was awesome I can't wait to watch it. I am sure that one of your MIL's children did check on her. I hope she is getting lots of rest and taking it very easy. Take care and have a blessed Halloween;)
