Good morning,

I forgot to post my workout yesterday. I did SM with the bands and abs from SF.


I was cleaning my house yesterday, still have to finsih up today. My DD is coming on Sunday. I am so happy to see her! She is taking it hard.

I feel a little better with my sinus/ear infection Not sure what I will do today. I am still depating!

Good Morning,

I woke up vomiting again today can't even keep water down and my head is killing me but I am afraid it won't stay down. I might try and do some yoga or pilates if things settle down. I need to go grocery shopping but I just don't want to move.

Belinda-I must have missed something with your DD did something happen to her? Glad to hear you are feeling alittle better.
 
Today was cardio and I got a workout off of Ebay last week called Powerstrike Millennium Series III. So I did it this morning and I loved it. Very good workout and the instructors are top notch. The instructors are Ilaria Montagnani and Patricia Moreno. I liked how they took turns and did parts of the workout. If I can find more of these workouts I will be getting them. And HOLY CRAP! Ilaria is RIPPED! Dang, she looks awesome. Very inspiring. This wasn't a high HR workout, kind of medium. But I liked it. I still burned a lot of calories with it.

Nora - Nice job on the 90% lifts. You go girl!!! You reminded me that I have to get some ab work in soon. :eek:

Roxie & Belinda - I sure hope you two feel better soon! I say take it easy this weekend and hit it hard again on Monday if you feel better.
 
Debbie, you are right! I was gonna work out today, cleaned my house. Got so tired around 5 p.m and felt asleep and didn’t wake up until 6.30 pm. I am taking this weekend off. Will hit it hard on Monday. BTW on your workout today. Have to look into that one. On the other hand, I am still doing the 10# challenge. I am doing really great with my eating, lost over 8 pounds so far. Didn’t even try this time, weird!:D

Hi ladies. Pretty happy with my race time today. 24:37. My best time so far has been 24:16. I could have probably made that if I had pushed harder. It was only 45 freaking degrees!!! BRRRRRRR. After the race my sis and I had some girl time and went shopping and had lunch then I did shoulders, triceps, chest premix from 4DS plus the same muscles from MM and abs.

Roxie - hope you get to feeling better.

Debbie - thanks for sharing about the new workouts. will have to check those out.

Heather-good job on your race today you are braver than I am that would be to cold for me.

I just ate some toast and I have sipped some water haven't thrownup for a couple of hours but my stomach feels like I have done a months worth of situps.
 
Gosh, Roxie! I'm glad you are able to keep something down now. I hope it improves. I'm sorry.
Heather, really!?!?!? A race, then you still work out? You're an animal!
Belinda, good job on the weight loss! Sometimes it sneaks up (off) on you like that.
Debbie, good find on the Ilaria workout. I've heard good things about her, but have never tried one myself.
I got a Mindy Mylrea workout from Netflix. It's got step and intervals and hi/lo on it. I did the step one yesterday. (I did Disc 2, also, earlier in the day) Today I did the intervals. I really enjoyed it. Today I burned 455 calories in 60 min! I'm NOT going to do the hi/lo!
We got rained on during soccer today. Now we're dropping the DDs off at grammys and heading into the big city for a performance of "Company". One of my co-workers is in it. Should be fun!

Worked out earlier today, did one from Cardio Hits: Step Fit. FUN! A good sweaty good ol step workout! Loved it! I also did COREMAX #1.

Belinda: I think you've made the right decision to not push your body this weekend, give it a few days to heal and get better. Glad your daughter is coming!

Heather: CONGRATS on the race! That's awesome! Can't believe your weather is so cool there. I'm thinking our weather will not hold out tomorrow for the JDRF Walk (Juvenile Diabetes). I think I may go alone and leave the kids at my mom's.

Debbie: Cool on a new GOOD workout. You must have gotten a good deal off of ebay too. I love that!

: Hey , I DID do the pull-ups/chin-ups on my barbell up on my weight bench and my feet kicked out along the bench. But it was kind of a PIA to move it from there back to weight back exercises. So I started using the weighted-pull down bar that's on my bench too. I load it heavY and do pull downs with it. ... Is the Mindy DVD Express Intervals & Action Packed? I have that one too! She's fun, isn't she? But also kicks your butt. I am not a lover of Hi/Lo (HATE IT!), but I kind of liked hers, it wasn't so bad. I should do that one soon!

Nora: You must be so relieved the MRI is done! You rock for getting in a workout too!!!

I'm off from work tonight (YAY!) so we can do the Walk tomorrow at 8:30a. I'm so upset it's supposed to rain w/wind and temps below 40. But I feel like I HAVE to do it.

I hope you all had a nice and relaxing Saturday. Debbie- Wow, you scored the Powerstrike Milenium DVD set- I've heard they're awesome. I desperately want to get Illaria's Powerstrike5, and BodyStrikes DVD's. She is the real deal a true martial artists and her form is excellent. You are so right she is ripped and looks awesome. I love kickboxing workouts they are a nice change off from step or running for cardio. Its nice to have options and mix things up to keep things fun and eliminate boredom.

Chris- Yes, I'm glad to have the MRI behind me now. I got to be honest finding out the results tends to make me nervous. I hope that my MS is not progressing and getting worse behind the scenes not noticing symptoms as yet. MS is a tricky one it can still do its damage without the inidividual exhibiting new exacerbations/relapses/or symptoms.

This was fun and tough. I did wear 1lb weighted gloves on each hand during at least half of the time. I had a good cardio burn and was reduced to a sweaty mess, so good stuff!;)
