Good morning,

I never got my workout in yesterday, I was to sleepy! I will do something today. Not sure what yet?

Have a great workout:eek:

Hi girls,

I just did LIS, only 20 min. Had to stop beause my stomach got very sick:( I will rest today and tomorrow. See how I feel on Saturday!

Great job with your workouts yesterday.

It's raining...again... They say it's supposed to move out by noon. If so, DH and I may either run at lunch or after work. My legs are sooo freaking sore though. But I really need to make tomorrow my rest day completely for the race on Sat.

Belinda - hope you feel better. Just take it easy and get some rest.

Nora - loved your list!

Heather

Well I took advantage of my last recovery day and took if off. Woke up with a slight headache and I just didn't feel like getting out of bed. Tomorrow starts Meso 3 so I'll be ready for it. Felt good to sleep in, it's cold here today.

Tired of it already...

Chris - My mom is 72. She also lives alone and does very well for herself. I worry about her, though. Glad she doesn't live too far from me.

Wendy - Yay! You started STS! You will love it! I start Meso 3 tomorrow and I can't wait! Are you still riding? My bike is retired for the winter. :( Summer just went by way too fast this year. Bums me out big time.

Nora - I like your list too, that was great! And your workout was smokin'!!! Nice job. I usually hate leg work but for some reason I've really liked the leg work in STS. I hope I like the plyo work just as much.

Belinda - Hope you feel better. Do you have the flu or something?

Heather - Hope you get to do a run today!!! It's been raining here for what seems like forever lately. I'm sick of it!!! I guess it could be worse, though - snow! YUCK!!!

Good Morning,

Didn't get my workout in they didn't pick up the baby until 7:30 and we still had to eat. I did however spend and hour standing up rocking a 10month old so that was work. Tonite is KCMs Muscle Definition and abs just to get some kind of wt work in this week.

Hi girls,

I just came back from the doctor, DH made me go! LOL! I have a sinus infection again, the doctor thinks all that flying caused it. I am back on antibiotic and ear drops. I am so stuffed up again. That explains the nausea. I will take today and tomorrow off working out, just to give my body a brake. I will try to workout again on Saturday, see how I feel. I am also getting physical therapy starting next week; I need to know what I can and can’t do for my back. I am having a lot of back pain again, not sure if it’s stress or my weight workouts. Although I do lift very light.

DH and I are trying to figure out how to get DD to Germany. She hasn’t gone to work in two days. I am so worried about her. I wish she would let it go, I know it’s easier said than done.I don’t care about her work, I care about collage. Not sure if she can take 2 weeks off without losing a semester? She is gonna call the school today. If not I will fly back to the states to be with her.

I will make me same tea. I will be back for personals!

BTW! I lost anothe lb:eek: I am not even trying to lose weight, now the pounds are coming off!

Morning!

Belinda - dagnabbit! Another sinus infection? I sure hope you won't have to fly back to the states to help DD anytime soon...hopefully she'll pick herself up by the bootstraps and get back to life. Good luck with that.
Roxie - pencil in another workout. Life happens and things come up, but keep going. And I would say that carrying around a 10 month old for an hour counts for something!
Debbie - yes, very sad....I haven't ridden for a couple of weeks and I don't see a day in the forecast that looks like good riding weather either. Good luck with Meso 3. I'm so glad you are enjoying STS.
Heather - what race do you have this weekend?
Chris - which disc are you on?
Well, I think I'll go tackle Disc 2. I woke up this morning and....nothing. I'm not sore or stiff or anything. Hm? It'll probably come on later. Actually, I guess it'll be disc 3, Legs today....
I'll check back in later.

Hi girls,

I forgot to tell you, it’s snowing here in Germany. I am not looking forward to snow!

Nora, I totally agree with your mental check list! WTG, on your run and disc 35 last night.

Wendy, sorry about your DD’s team getting crushed yesterday. Good job starting STS yesterday. How are your shoulders feeling today? I wish I could start it again. Maybe the PT next week will give me the green light! DH and I will fly DD to Germany. I can’t fly right now, my sinus are too messed up. We will get her a ticket tomorrow, unfortunately everything is closed right now.

Heather, LOL about the wrong date and month! Holy crap! I was tired yesterday. I was tired all day long. I took naps off and on all day long, couldn’t keep my eyes open. WTG, on your SB and your workout today. Hope you get your run in today.

Chris, glad you enjoyed disc 9 yesterday. Sending you healing vibes for your legs! Hope they feel better soon. WOW, on your mom! Very impressive! How did the open house go yesterday?

Debbie, that is so nice you painting your moms kitchen! How is your hip flexor today. Hope you stretched it out yesterday.

Rockie, hope you get your workout in today.

Have a great day, everyone!

Belinda - It's still pretty sore today. Not as bad as yesterday, though. Sorry to hear you have another sinus infection, that is just aweful!!! I hope it doesn't get as bad as it did last time. {{{hugs}}}

Well, the rain finally stopped. It's still cloudy and the ground is soaked, but DH and I ran at lunch. No land speed records or anything, but it was at least under a 9-min mile.

Wendy - I'll be doing the Susan G Komen Race for the Cure Sat morning. I don't expect to beat any personal bests, but I would like to at least come in under 25 mins. The problem is that it's SOOOO crowded - close to 50,000 women participating. You literally spend the first min or two zigzagging around people. This is where doing lots of step and lateral exercises helps! LOL

Belinda - I don't even want to think about snow. It's already so cool here compared to the norm. "they" are all calling for a brutal winter. Here, that typically means ice.

Debbie - hope the rain clears out for you soon as well. I know it's really starting to get me (and everyone else) down.

Heather

Checking in -

I did Disc 3 - Legs. It totally rocked. The time flew by and I loved every exercise. I even did the bonus work at the end - gosh, THAT was hard!!
I see on Disc 2 she's already doing chinups and pullups. Yikes. I guess I'll have to fashion my weight bar across my TM handrails or something...??? Although, I did buy Cathe's red band with handles. I guess I'll just see how it goes.
Belinda, sorry that you're having to fly DD to Germany. How will that effect her schooling?
Heather, good luck with your race this weekend! Sounds like fun. I hope you have decent weather..

Have a great day, all!

Hey Guys...

I had a work thing today, so that's why I'm posting later...

My lower body/legs are soooooo sore today from DISC 9. Oh my gosh. I thought I'd be over this sorenesss, since last week's leg workout didn't get me so bad. But 9 was different, lots of deadlifts and lunge type moves.

Today for cardio I did 4DS: BC (good fast fun sweaty!) and then did 2 ab segments from CTX. I'd never done them before, and these both had a zillion crunch moves. My upper abs are going to be sore!.. And lastly, i did a wonderful stretch from SM!! Ah!

Belinda
: OMG, you poor thing! I'm glad your DH had you go to the doctor and you're getting treatment. So sad about your daughter too :( it must be hard to be so far away. It's funny, your weather mimics ours in New England. They're also talking the S word here this week! And I'm doing a fundraising walk for my son's diabetes (JDRF) on Sunday! I'm scared!

Debbie: your mom sounds like mine!... I worry also. Good recovery week for you !! It's nice to NOT HAVE to when you have a headache. Hope it went away!

Roxie: I bet your arms/ back are sore from carrying a 10 mo old around too!! Hope you get a good one in today!!

Heather: YAY for getting a run in! It was way too cold for me today to run, as much as I thought about it. 40 was the high, and it was cloudy and breezy. It felt like december!!

Wendy: That's weird no DOMS. But sometimes that happens with STS. It's weird how it gets you good sometimes and other times, it doesn't. I'm on Week #3 of Meso 1. I do Legs in the middle though. So tomorrow will be DISC 8, Triceps and Back. Glad you liked the legs!!! It is a cool workout. And I know you LIKE working legs, so you'll love it all! The bonus work is ridiculous, isn't it? On another check in , we came up with the idea to do ALL the bonus work as ONE workout. Someone did it, said it was about 45-50 minutes total, and was challenging!

Nora: Looking forward to reading your workout later. Hope you're feeling ok. Does the change in seasons exacerbate the MS symptoms? I loved your list as to the reasons you work out yesterday too!

Going to go put on my jammies and read with my son...

Hi Girls!;)

Wow, talk about some great workouts today, bravo!!! Thanks for all the nice comments about my list. Its just what helps to motivate me. I know I need all the help I can get in the working out and keeping motivated part.

Here's today's workout:

Rhythmic Step= 60 min
Calories burned= 582
that was soo much fun! I haven't done this one enough to have all the combo's down. I've got about 80% of it though. ;)

STS Ab Circuits-Weights and Plates ABs=19 min
Calories burned= 111 Approx.
This to me is one of the single most difficult exercises of the ab circuits, well that and the Med ball abs, which I love. This is hard core and intense I love a good intense ab workout. The only drawback as to why I don't do weights and plates more often is that I have weak wrists so this is an espcially tough part for me. Its awesome though and I always enjoy doing it!:)

Yeah ladies we made it through Thursday!!! We are in the home stretch now for this week ladies and I can see cathe at the finish line telling us come on you can do it and threatening us with fast feet and push ups if we don't continue. LOL!!! Oh come on, you can imagine Cathe doing that, right!:D

Have a great evening and I'll see ya all at tomorrow's check in. (Not sure how I'll feel after an extensive brain, thoracic, and spine MRI, Yikes I hate those. At least I have some Lorazepam to help me get through the claustrophoic and booming sensation of the MRI.)

Hugs!:);)
