Hi girls!
I hope everyone has had a great day.
Debbie -great workout as always, your workouts are always awesome
Roxie- Don't beat yourself up about it. Just make it a habit to make yourself do. People have learned bad habits right, we all have them, so why not make a good habit. I decided this and I made working out my daily habit and natural mood elevator sort of a non prescription Zoloft/Prozac. It really does help with depression, I have clinical depression and it really helps to feel better on the inside and out. I have a list I mentally check off on days I just can't seem to get my butt in gear and need a good swift kick of motivation.
here's my list:
1. It makes you look younger than those that don't. Yep, it may seem petty but its true.
2. As I stated above it does actually release more of the good feeling positive hormones levels that can lift ones mood, its medically proven.
3. I know I hate feeling fat or bloaty and exercise gets rid of that. Love that!
4.Exercise is medically and scientifically proven to benefit almost every major Organ and system of the body increasing function to heart, lungs, circulation, brain, strenghtening immune systems, strengthening bones.
5. My very favorite that exercise can prevent many if not most major health problems such as: high blood pressure, respiratory, heart function, keeps arteries cleaner, some research indicates that exercise can play a role in preventing cancer and shows much lower occurances in those that exercise and eat healthy. Bone issues like Osteoporosis, helps with lessening cramping with periods. I'm all for that! Arthritis, is one that can be greatly benefit from exercise lessening the stiffening and pain. I know that in MS exercise is extremely important to keep the neurons and neuro path ways active and firing so they can keep good nerve function. Exercise helps with balance and strength good for everyone regardless of age. Balance and strength are issues I have to always focus on for me with MS. So, just like the Nike slogan, "Just do it!" I know its good for you and its something you can do for your health on a daily basis. We women need to remember to give back to ourselves exercise is a good way to do that and for me at least it helps keep my sanity, LOL!! I hope this was not preachy or annoying. That was not my intent I only wanted to help and say I know how you feel Roxie, and I know you can do it, you deserve to give yourself this. You rock girl!
Hugs!
