Crazy, Strong and Loving it for Novemeber!!

Hi everyone! No workout for me today. I have too much on my mind with this doctor's appointment today with the Cardiologist. I'm too worried to workout. Please keep me in your prayers today. Hopefully it's not anything major.

Roxie - I don't care for floor work either. Never have. That's why I always just do the standing portions of those type of workouts.

Chris - Are Tech's aloud to give patients information about their tests? I'm just curious. Let me know.

Belinda - Hope that cough goes away. I hate coughing, that is the worst!

Nora - Hope you are doing well today! Have a great workout like you always have!

I did KCM's TLC Boxing and now we are headed to get DH some steel toes shoes the company insists they wear and are help paying for.

Debbie-I will be thinking of you all day I hope you get some good news.

Belinda-coughing tightens the stomach muscles but its still not fun.

just finished with Tabatacise 1-3 and Coremax #1.

Debbie, Techs are not supposed to give you info. But I have had tests done and they give all KINDS of info! LOL. I appreciate it , truly do. Most of the time it's good news, so , it's helpful. I think if it's bad news, they dont' tend to offer the info so readily. Good luck today! hope you have some good news to ease your worries!

Belinda, Hope YOU get some good news too! I do know, coughs from colds can linger a LONG time. I think my husband had one for 3 months last year. He kept going back to the doctor. we were so worried, But it was nothing and went away. Just a PIA. ... Good job working out and not feeling well all these weeks! WOW! you are a trooper!!

Speaking of troopers, NORA! ... awesome workouts!!!

Roxie, good job improvising. I LOVE KCM's TLC! Hey did you get KCM's newest one? Shape UP , I think it's called? I ordered it Saturday!!!

Great workouts you've been doing and great job today with 0 Pounds Slim Down Xtreme Lower Body and 10 Pounds Slim Down Recovery Lower Body and abs too! Wow, that is awesome stuff especially while not feeling at your best with that nasty coughing business. WTG!!! Thanks for asking, I think I've got some sinus or flu type thing its not fun but I'm hanging in there. Take care and I hope the Doc helps you out. ;):)

Hi everyone! I'm happy to say everything with my heart is ok. It was one of those visits where you wonder why they even had you go in. The doctor told me everything the tech told me - so whatever the "abnormal" thing on the Echo was, I don't know. He said in some of the pictures he can see that I have three aortic valves, and in others only two. He said the only way to get an accurate answer is an MRI but he doesn't feel it's necessary to do that. He thinks I'm having anxiety issues again and wants me to take a stress test after the holidays. So no big deal there.

I asked him about my lowered HR when I workout and he said the blood pressure meds will certainly do that. He said the highest I should see my HR go when I'm working out is 145 bpm. That will take a while to get used to. I loved seeing my HR get up to the 160's. So that sort of will be weird. He was very impressed at how fit I am and asked me if I was in my 30's. I said, "No, try almost 50!" Unless he was messing with me, he couldn't believe it. He listened to my heart and said I had a heart of a 30 year old if not younger. Honestly, I don't think he sees many people like me. Usually cardiac issues are for people overweight and unhealthy. He told me to stop worrying so much about everything and just do what I do. Nice man.

Oh, he says I will still need to have an echo every 2 to 3 years, just to keep on eye on it. That is fine with me.

So after the holidays I will get a stress test and see him one more time. I still have a follow-up with my doctor on Monday.

Today I did the upper body premix of Push/Pull. That was a great premix. She does all the upper body work twice through. I really felt it withmost exercies. Had a great workout!

I feel like a rock has been lifted from me. I'm so happy and thankful my heart is ok! Thanks for the prayers everyone!

Good morning,

Today I will do cardio and abs. Yesterday I got the flu shot and other Immunizations. The doc said, the cough can take sometimes 2 month.My lungs are clear, that's great. Hopefully the meds will do the trick.


The day after Thanksgiving DH and I will go to Antigua for our 30 Anniversary. We will stay for 8 day's. We are staying on one of the Sandals Resorts. I am so excited.

Debbie - that's great news!!! I am so happy you ok.

Nora - sorry you having sinus/flu going on. That's no fun! Drink lots of water and be careful when working out. Rest when needed. Your workouts are amazing.

Chris - looks like my cough will hang around for awhile. Had no idea, it can take that long? It's all good. Nice job with your workouts.

Roxie - your post made me laugh! Who knows, maybe I will see a 6 pack abs after all that coughing. LOL! You really like Xtrain. Good for you.

Hi All!

Today I did Greatest Hits, Premix #2 (no IMAX2) . It was fun! Except when it got to the completed Athletic Step segment, I had totally forgotten that entire segment, so I didn't get all the steps in. I got the important ones in though ;)

Debbie, GREAT news at the heart doc! Sounds like everything is fine, and no worries. I am not surprised at the health of your heart... hey... we've been working out "together" for a long time now and we are all SUPER fit! I think my issues , if any, all resolve around stress and anxieties too. I wish I was more relaxed and less intense about things. I can't, though, it's the way I roll. ..Nice workout with Push/Pull!

Belinda, Oh my gosh! My DH and I stayed at Sandals in Antigua YEARS ago! It was WONDERFUL!!!! You can't beat all inclusive, and all we did was relax, swim, drink, eat, and repeat!!! It was wonderful!!!!! ..... Hope your cough is gone by then!

Nora, Hope you feel better too! you should take care of yourself if you're not feeling well. Esp if it's the flu! .... Love that Rockout Knockout, I did it on Monday! The heavy bag is a BLAST!!

Chris - I am glad to hear you enjoyed your stay at Antigua, none of our friend ever stayed there. Hope DH and I will enjoy it as well. The Resort is only for couples! I am looking forward to relax/eat and drink. Thanks, I hope my cough is gone by then too. I got enough meds:D

I promise I will work my abs later. BBL!

BTW Yes, the heavy bag section on Rockout Knockout was awesome!;) Still feeling icky mostly stuffed up a little, a little feverish off and on and that's pretty much it just not alot of energy or enthusiasm today. Late workout and checkin I went back to my former employer for a job I can't find one where we live so I guess I will have to drive 2 hours a day. I did Xtrain BS Bis&Tris and 30 minutes on the TM.

Debbie-so glad to hear everything is going to be ok.

Nora-good job with your workout.

Belinda-glad to hear its just a cough they seem to take forever to get rid of.

Chris-I am like you unable to lose wt due to stress and not sleeping well.

Well, not that the road is rough right now, but I swear I can't win. I didn't workout today because my low back feels a little tweaked. Not painful, it's just telling me that if I move wrong, something bad could happen. I think it happened when I did the ab work yesterday from Push/Pull. It was either the Superman's on the ball, or the reverse crunches. I'm sure I'll be good to go by tomorrow, but I'm really getting irritated that my workouts are more sporadic lately then consistent.

Hopefully next week will be better but since it's Thanksgiving week, I have no idea how often I will workout.

I guess we just do what we can, right?

I'm late with check in today, but my workout was Great Glutes, All Standing Premix. It was a butt burner!!! I *think* I *loved* it! LOL!!

Belinda: I'm pretty sure Sandals we went to was couples only too. This , as I said, was YEARS ago. Like 20 years ago!! LOL!. Before we had kids. But I still remember it. It was paradise and we had such a good time. Nice workouts!!

Debbie: You should have done a nice stretch or yoga today! That would have helped your back. I hate that tweak feeling!!

Nora: Sinus stuff is definitely going around this time of year. Take care of yourself!!!! You are doing great workouts there, as always! I did Great Glutes too!!! Those lunges where you touch your knee to the floor and them come up for "4" are KILLER!!!

Roxie: Wow, you would drive 2 hours to work ? seems almost counterproductive if you're spending that much in gas. That really sucks. :( ... Nice job with Lean Legs today! ... Oh yeah. I think my metabolism at my age is crap , not to mention the sleep/stress thing. It sucks . So hard to lose weight!!

I will do AOLIH today and then I only have one more week of Xtrain left then on to Xtrain LIS.

Chris-it helps that the price of gas is going down and I would work everyday but Wednesday so that will help a little. I applied for a job here in town yesterday so we will see what happens.

Yesterday I did a 40 min cardio workout with Steve M. on youtube. I didn't feel like doing a KB workout. Then I did 10 Pounds Slim Down Recovery LB. Today I will do Xtreme Core and Recovery LB. Tomorrow I finish the 10 Pounds Slim Down Xtreme rotation with Xtreme KB. I am one day behind. Not sure, what I will do on Tuesday?

Roxie - you really enjoy Xtrain, hah? Once I am back from my vacation maybe I will give those workouts a whirl.
