Wow, November already. I can't believe the holiday's are knocking at our doors. Unreal...

Today I did one of my Cardio Coach mixes and had a really excellent workout. I didn't even feel like working out since it's TTOM, but I made myself go in my workout room and get on my treadmill. I'm glad I did!

I only had time for the first two challenges in this workout, but I was able to hit 3 miles so I'm happy about that!!! :eek:

Today I did Xtrain: CBS. Was super tired and didn't feel like it either, Debbie, but I did, and was glad I did, and felt good doing it!

I did not eat ONE piece of Halloween candy last night! how amazing is THAT? Been really good and commited to the Whole30 for 18 days now! I feel great! But I do love chocolate and really wanted it. I still do! It is locked away, though.

Nora: I am still super impressed with you doing the Zcuts PLUS another workout. I also like Cathe's new leg/glutes workouts. I like that they are mostly body weight exercises. I think they are better to thin out the lower body, in stead o building muscle. I vote for "thin out" myself!

Roxie: That was a quick visit from MIL! Your GS sounds like he's all better now? Hope your headache is gone!

Belinda: Sounds like you are doing a LOT better! How is the foot pain with the workouts?

Debbie: as I said, kudos to you for making yourself run today! always the right choice!! .... You really should get something done for your shoulder. But I'm one to talk. I hate going to the doctor too. LOL
 
Hi girls;)

I just finished today's workout and I can walk today, it's a November 1st miracle!! Ok, still a little sore post LLA, but I can move so that's a huge deal for which I am grateful. Thank goodness it's Friday!!:D

Here's today's workout:


Cardio Coach Vol.2 Revised- My Short Mix= 28 Min
MV= 10.50 Stationary Bike 200 Watts Vigorous
CB= 401
Distance= 7.82 Miles

Due to being very incapacitated after working out from Wednesday's LLA I opted to be safe and did stationary bike workout with Cardio Coach Volume 2 revised my mix. That seemed to help. I did workout yesterday in hopes I could get my muscles warm stretch them out then get a workout in. I did Flextrain and that seemed to make worse extreme soreness & pain to the Max from LLA's the previous day bringing it to a level I walked like a mummy and had excruciating soreness and pain. Today there's a little residual soreness but not a lot, so I can move today, YAY!! I posted about this yesterday in the section about Cathe's newest workouts saying that Cathe gave me a Halloween Trick, it was a great treat of a workout but dang it bites hard the next day or two. LOL!! I'd say that workout has not just teeth but claws, and fangs too! LOL!!!!

Z Ropes- Workout#1 with warm up+ Workout + Cool Down Stretch= 29 Min
MV= 12.0
CB= 475

Chris- Great workout today with Xtrain: CBS. That's a great workout and sometimes for me I get a slight soreness the next day because of chest work but nothing bad just a hello remember you worked me out yesterday kind of thing. Congrats on doing so well with Whole30 and resisting the evil halloween candy, you are an inspiration, well done girlfriend. Keep up the fab job with your workouts and Whole30!! ;):D I do like LLA's its a different workout than what I expected but its a very good one. I liked that it was mostly weight bearing exercises with a metabolic emphasis and low weights mostly used to get cardio factor going. Its a good one but man did Cathe ever get me good on that one.

Debbie- Bravo girlfriend for going in your workout room and making yourself get on the TM and get in a great Cardio Coach workout. Its great that you got that workout in today and will help with some of the TTOM issues. Bravo girlfriend you got it done today!! High fives that is awesome you should feel great about yourself and go forth and have a fab Friday!;):D

Debbie - I agree, you need to go to a doctor with your shoulder. Good job with your run this morning.

Chris - as long as I keep the intensity low, my foot is fine. It's still not 100 %:( I really think the shot had something to do with it:eek:

I didn't workout yesterday playing grandma again and this time he wanted carried everywhere until I told him he could walk if he wanted to go then go. I will get something done today and I will get back in a routine next week, I still have 3 weeks of Xtrain left.

Belinda-good job with your workout.

Chris-she only lives 2 hours away we are not even sure why she wanted to come down.

Need to get some shopping done.

Hello everyone! Today I did Cardio Coach #3 and had a great workout. I have a headache today and I think I'm going to make an appointment to see if I have a sinus infection. I'm dizzy again and my head feels like it's going to explode. So I'll be going in to see her hopefully sometime this week. I'm real tired of these headaches.

This morning I did Legs & Glutes standing premix. Had a great workout. I have a doctor's appointment today at 9:30 so I was able to sleep in and workout a little later. What a huge difference that one hour makes. Working out at 5:30 is so much harder to do than doing it at 6:30. It's only an hour so I don't get it. But I couldn't wait to workout this morning and I haven't felt that way since summer.

Oh well...

I did Xtrain CLB this morning and can't figure out why this one always has a dread factor for me its not that tough and I burn 455 calories you would think this one would always be a go to. I have 3 more weeks of Xtrain left and then I can't decide between LIS or Turbo Jam any suggestions?

Roxie- Wow, Xtrain CLB is a killer workout. I know what you mean Xtrain CLB and Tabatacise both I was scared to do, but I finally did do them and found I liked them even had fun. I agree there was a dread factor with CLB I think I just heard how tough it was and that scared me. I was delightfully surprised that I did like and had fun with it. Tabatacise had me freaked out, I tried it and I love that workout. Now, I haven't worked up to all five tabatas yet but I can comfortably do tabatas 1-2 back to back and then add on abs or etc... Its a tough no nonsense just athletic drills short and sweet, burns tons of calories and you feel like million bucks afterward. Its a keeper. I'll be thinking of you Thursday when I do XTrain CLB. Awesome workout today girlfriend and you took CLB on and won,m YAY!!!! Bravo!! WTG girlfriend.

Debbie - I have never done that premix! Need to give it a whirl one day. Good job!

Roxie - wow, you almost done with your rotation! Good for you! My vote is: Turbo Jam:eek: Love those workouts! If you have some weight to lose, TJ burns tons of cal. If not, do LIS!

No workout for me today. I went to my doctor yesterday to find that my blood pressure is up. She put me on blood pressure meds and I have to have an echo on my heart done sometime this week. I'm not sure if you all remember, but about 8 years ago they found that I have aeortic bicuspid disorder. This means that two of my aeortic valves are fused together so instead of having three, I only have two. They've been keeping an eye on it since it was found but it's been a couple years since I've had an echo. With all the dizzy spells I've been having, she wants me to go get it checked.

I was ok'd to workout, but when I got up this morning I had another horrible headache and was really off balance. I took my first blood pressure pill and I already feel a bit more stable. So we'll see.

Say a prayer for me. If my aeortic valve is leaking anymore than it was last time they checked it, I'll have to see a cardiologist. I really don't want to do that...
