Headache down to a dull roar. I decided to do an easy step workout so I didn't aggravate it and then did shoulders and core. Tonite I will do bis and tris not going to do legs my are still screaming from Jillians run.

Basic Step Stats:

4DS Shoulders:

Turbo Ab Jam:

Hi girls,

No workout for me today, I got distracted! Started cleaning 3 bathrooms (why do I have so many? Cleaned out the medicine cabinet), than I started cleaning all 4 bedrooms (changed the sheets), cleaned the dining room and living room, laundry room, the kitchen and my workout room (wiped everything down). Now I am too excused, after 5 hours cleaning. I guess, I will do my cardio workout tomorrow. I have no more energy left. I will do my core/back exercises. I think I over did it today, my back is on fire.

Didn't have a chance to post my workout from yesterday. I did Meso 3, Week 4, Disc 34, Chest and Back. Had a great workout. This week we go back to the weights we used with Meso 3, Week 2, but instead of 7 reps, we do 8. I really worked up a good sweat and I'm sore today.

Warmup:
Flat Barbell Bench Press - 65#/12 reps
Flat Barbell Bench Press - 70#/12 reps

Workout:
Flat Barbell Bench Press - 95#/8 reps
Barbell Rows - 82#/8 reps
***Did this for 4 sets. Lots of rest time between the exercises and sets.

Flat Bench Chest Flyes - 37's/8 reps
One Arm Row - 42#/8 reps each side
***Did this for 4 sets. Flyes were really burning towards the end.

Incline Barbell Bench Press - 90#/8 reps
Deadlifts - 77#/8 reps
***Did this for 4 sets.

Incline Chest Flyes - 37's/8 reps
One Arm Horizontal Row - 37#/8 reps each side
***Did this for 4 sets. Was really feeling it with set 3 and 4.

And then today was cardio and I did a new workout. I tried Kelly Coffee-Meyer's Step Boxing. I liked it, it was fun but some of the moves got me confused. I'm sure I'll get it with a few more times of doing it. I only did the step boxing part and then I did the Abs. I actually did abs twice this week! :eek:

My mom was shocked when she seen her kitchen. she walked in and goes, "Oh, I have a new tableclothe." And then she looked around and she goes, "OH MY GOD!" And she looked around again and said, "OH MY GOD!" LMAO! She did that over and over again. She couldn't believe it was her kitchen. Made me happy to see how happy she was. She is loving being back home. I'm going over there in a little while to help her with some things.

Belinda-sounds to me like you got quite a workout in just cleaning. You ought to where your hr monitor just once and see how many cals you burned.

Debbie-that is to funny about your mom but I am glad she loved her kitchen and wtg on getting those abs done.
 
I just finished STS Disc 30 (Shoulders, biceps, triceps). I was worried that I was going to have to go lower than the last time I did this disc (in the throws of STS). However, I must have eaten my Wheatie's! I was able to go up in weight on everything. My arms are shaking right now, but in a good way. It's already 70 degrees and sunny so DH and I are heading out for a run at the river trails. Really looking forward to getting out!

Chris - I had to laugh about not being able to show off your guns ;) I get to flash mine today haha :p

Belinda - I have 3 bathrooms too and on one hand it's nice, but then when you get down to the cleaning, not so nice!

Debbie - so happy to hear your mom's reaction. I like that Step Boxing, but I don't have enough space. That one seems to require more space for some reason than other step workouts.

Roxie - good job getting your workout done. Hope that headache goes away soon.

Today was cardio day for me. I ended up doing the new workout I got this week: Turbo Kick Round 30. It was very much like Turbo Jams, but kind of weird with the music in the background and the way she's "teaching" the moves to a potential instructor, BUT... it made me sweat big time, got my HR up there, and I had fun! Round 31 is also on this DVD, and I previewed a little, the music seems better and funkier. Alot of 30's was the same stuff that's on Turbo Jams. I also did the Abs from it. (very short, but tough!).


Work for me tonight, so lots of prepping/cleaning, etc.

Belinda: You inspired me to get my arse moving! You go!

Roxie: Glad you're feeling better!

Nora: Awesome workout w/ Jillian !! She's very cool. Did you hear about the new show she's going to be doing? Moving in with an unhealthy family and revamping the way they eat and exercise. She's still doing BL, this will be in addition to it. She's making some much dinero!!

So you're done with STS? WOO HOO!!! Don't you feel majorly accomplished? What were your results? thoughts? I'm curious to know. I love your mom's reaction to her new kitchen too. She sounds very sweet!

Heather: You go on the run and the gun show, girl!!! ;) I will live vicariously through you!!!

Just finished up an egg white burrito kind of Greek style. About to stretch then clean up and go grocery shopping. Had a great run today. I felt like I could have gone on all day long. Just having a really good exercise day I guess. LOL.

Hi girls!

I'm on my rest week and I got a Netflix disc. Amy's Cardio step pump or something like that. I did it. I did one of her NRG premixes that ended up being a little longer than the actual workout - it did pushups twice. 51min/347 calories. The weight segments were not very intense so I thought this would be perfect for this week.
But since I had training yesterday, then my 2hr drive home turned into 3 hours and 40 minutes!!!!!!....(I didn't get out of first gear for almost 2 HOURS!!). That made my butt sore, and from Disc 12 Legs on Thursday my butt was already sore. So I really felt the need to get some blood pumping today. I also did my LowMax version from FitTv. That added another 42min/307 calories. Now I feel sufficiently cardio-ed!
Way awesome about your mom's reaction to her kitchen, Debbie. I bet that was just icing on the cake! I'm sure she was just happy to be home, let alone a beautiful surprise! That was really thoughtful of you and I'm sure she appreciates it.
I must've missed something about the gun show!! Sounds funny - I'll have to go back and re-read....
I still have the BL dvr'd from last week to watch. I'm not really sure how I feel about Jillian. When does her new show start?
Hope any back/head aches fade away....and everyone recovers from all our hard workouts! Have a great afternoon, all!
