Hallo again,

I am done with my workout. I did CCV3 on the TC, burned 550 cal.:eek: I like those # much better:p I also walked my dogs already, will walk them again after my PT this afternoon. I am also back on track with my eating.

My legs feel so much better today. The soreness is now only in the top inner thigh so I'm walking like a normal person again. LOL. I think I am going to do Imax 2 or 3 today plus some abs (not sure which workout yet).

Good Morning,

Didn't workout last nite didn't sleep well the night before so I was really tired and my back was hurting. This morning I did Jillian Michaels wii ultimatum 2010circuit.

Stats:

11 in the zone
172 min hr
185 max hr
207 cals burned.

Tonite is 4ds legs and L&G floor work and calves from 4ds then I need to do some abs. Saturday I will make up yesterdays workout.
 
Today was cardio and I chose Kick, Punch & Crunch. Did it all plus the ab work. LOVE that ab work in this workout. It is just fun. Had a great, sweaty workout. I was able to get my HR up with this one by giving it my all and wearing my 1# weighted gloves.

Hey Guys!

The weather is supposed to turn to crap later, so I'm thinking of getting out for a run at the park now (even though it's only 38 degrees!!!).

I did get out yesterday afternoon, but instead of a run, I did a 40 minute bike ride, with some tough hills! Felt great!!! Enjoyed the sunshine!!!

Belinda: Great good sweaty CC workout today! Enjoy your time outside with the poochies!

Heather: I know it's so hard mentally to take a day off from workouts, but it sounded like you did the right thing yesterday! I think one of the IMAXs sounds great. I was also debating on IM3 today... decisions decisions!

Debbie: YAY! for a good cardio! KPC is fun!! Are the abs on the ball? I forget! It seems like your mom has been gone so long , was it 2 weeks?, enjoy the homecoming tomorrow!

Nora: Cathe Classics are a TON of fun! And push you just like any cathe workout! You're so right! Good job on pushing through it even with the difficulties you had!

Roxie: Cool that you got the new Jillian Wii game!!

Oh, and report on DOMS from STS MESO 2 DISC 14. Feel most soreness in my buttocks. Not so much where I moan every time I sit down, though! I did do a good stretch afterwards and also ate Ricotta Cheese post workout (I read that that helps with muscle recovery and lessens soreness). Whatever, who really knows!
 
Chris - I'll do Imax 3 if you do it!!! I've also read that tumeric is supposed to help. Not sure if it really does or not, but I sure do add it to my eggwhite omelets on the weekends post workout!!!! The first time I did STS, my leg DOMS were almost always in my rear end. Now when I've done a leg workout (STS) it's my outer and inner thighs more than anything. Weird how it changed.

Chris - You know I was just thinking you were nuts and were going to run AND do Imax 3 LOL!!! With this group, it's not that far off. LOL

I don't think it has that much of a flavor, more of a smell to me. It's used a lot in Indian cooking. It'll stain anything yellow too! Somewhere in my head I think I read that tomatoes are supposed to help. Maybe I just read too much, but I sure do add tomatoes to my omelets as well. LOL, kind of funny now that I think about it. I load those suckers up with whatever I think is going to help the muscles repair and not be sore. Who the heck knows if it's working or not.

I went to my PT this afternoon; it was more like she was checking out my back. I still have a lot of tricker points in my back. Meaning she added 4 more weeks of PT. she also gave me bands to work my back, can’t never have enough bands, right? Next week, she is adding the leg presses machine, yeah! Still no running for me, until my back is 100% better. She said the TC and elliptical machine is fine.

Debbie, do you think I can do M1 with my back, I mean as long as I don’t do any deadlifts and don’t go to heavy. I should be ok, right? From what I remember M1, is similar to SS, right? Right now, I was doing MM, SS, PH, PLB/PUB premix and the other day I was doing 4DS full body premix. Or do you think I should stick with 3 full body and 3 cardio days a week. I am in my 3rd week of this rotation; I would like to stick with it for another 3 weeks. WTG, on KPC today. I am glad your mom is coming home tomorrow.

Nora, nice calorie burn with Step Works. How is your right foot doing today? Hope it’s better. Can’t remember the last time I did that one. The way I am going, I probably have to learn the entire step moves again, lol!

Heather - Nice job on the rest day yesterday. I always look forward to my rest day (Sunday's).

Nora - Nice going with Step Works. Wow, I haven't done that workout in a LONG time. Not sure I could do those workouts anymore just because they were so repititious. Great job sticking it out and getting it done. :D

Chris - Yes, KPC abs is with the stability ball. I love it! My mom has been in the rehab facility for 5 weeks. It's been a LONG HAUL for her. I'm so happy she is finally going home. I think I'm more excited about it then she is! LMAO!

Hi and nice workouts to everyone else! Heather & Chris - you two GO with the IMAX 3 workout! Woohoo!!!! You kind of got me wanting to do that workout again. I love the step sections.

And since all of you are speaking of DOMS, I am also sore from yesterdays Meso 3 workout. I'm shocked because Meso 3 hasn't made me sore yet. My triceps are really screaming at me today. :eek:

Wendy-so far the tummy has finally settled down and I am trying very hard to watch what I eat.

I don't see why you couldn't do MI. You mean Muscle Intensity Strength, right? If so, it's similar to PH so I believe you'll have a problem with it. Just watch with all those Leg Presses. Sometimes those are hard on the back. Use only 3 risers when you do those.

Well I went home and did Imax 3 at lunch today. I have a late meeting so since I'm gonna be here late, I took a longer lunch. It's kind of nice to workout mid-day though. Gives you an added boost of energy. However, I did realize that inner thighs are very important for step aerobics. And mine weren't working so great! LOL.

Wendy - have fun with legs today and enjoy that omelet! LOL

Debbie - I think one reason I felt like I should not have taken yesterday as a rest day is b/c I've gotten very used to Friday as my rest day. I think it might be more beneficial if I learned to be more flexible with rest days and instead of working out 6 days in a row, do like 3 or 4 then rest. I get so rigid with my schedule though and kind of have mini-panic attacks if things go awry! Hate that about myself. OH, and high 5's on the DOMS ;-)

Belinda - at leas the news from the PT was on more of a positive note. Sounds like you must be making progress if they are going to add in leg work.

I'm not sure when I'll start Meso 2. We're going to Vegas next Thursday for a couple of days with friends. So, I can either take a 3 day rest week (?) or a 10 day rest week..hmmm..?
No, Debbie, I don't work that long of hours. I just have bible study on Wed mornings, then I have about 1.5hrs to kill before work, but I live about 40 miles from work, so coming home in between isn't really an option.
I'll be leaving later today for Seattle. I have to go for a day of training (tomorrow). So I'll catch up with everyone in a couple of days!

I did workout today. The weather is yucky and gloomy which is typical for Oregon this time of year plus we have the addes bonus of 45-60 mph winds at the coast and I'm sure they'll be around that inland. My big german shepherd, Vader, hates the wind he's afraid of the wind monsters, we call it that because the wind makes noise and he can't see what's making the noise, drives him nuts and he feels the strong need to protect me, the kids, and the house from this unknown intruder,LOL!! He's so cute, Vader is my four legged kid I always say.

Here's today's workout:

STS, Wk1, disc#3 Plyo Legs= 53 Min
Calories burned= 434

This is always a good workout for me. I really like this one is mostly dumbells so it goes faster since I don't have to hit pause to change the weights on my barbell since there isn't one needed in this one. My right hand feels weak the last couple of days and have a tough time with maintaining a good grip, so I had to lighten up on the deadlifts by 5lbs and on lunges. I usually use #25-#27 lbs but I had to switch to 20#'s and struggled with the last couple of reps. Other than that the workout went pretty well.

Core Max Segment 1 No equipment abs= 21 Min
Calories burned= 143
This DVD has a nice variety on it, I liked it.

Belinda- Nice workout today and fantastic calorie burn today!! WTG:) Thanks for asking about my foot, it still hurts. Plantar facitis takes a long long time to heal up. Last time I had it a couple of years ago, it took 6 months for it to finally go away. I kept working out but still, its annoying.

Heather- Happy to hear your legs are feeling normal and without DOMS!
Because of my knee issues I'm going to have to table using Imax 3 and use Imax 2 in substitution of that. I love Imax 2 its so fun. I do love Imax3 but it does seem to be higher impact on my knees and back so I think I'll avoid this one until my knees and back are feeling 100%.

Roxie- Sorry you didn't sleep well last night. I hope your back is feeling better today. Nice job on the Jillian Michaels wii ultimatum 2010 circuit. How is that one? I know Jilian is a tough trainer and her workouts are never a walk in the park, that's for sure. I have her iFit card Lose Weight workouts levels 1,2, &3and made me have a true appreciation for her workouts and sympathy for the biggest loser contestant!:p

Debbie- KPC is a fun and challenging kickbox workout. I find that I like that one a little better than even KickMax. Only Kick Max has the standing legwork section after the kickbox part of the workout. They are both great but I have to give the edge to KPC, I'm with you on that one! Great workout!!;)

Chris- You are a legend to go for a run in 38 degree weather, you go girl!! Bravo!!:eek:

Heather, nice job on IMAX3 today, I love that one! My back is getting better, with those back/core exercises every day. I can’t wait to get back to normal, whatever that means! LOL!

Wendy, awesome job with D12 today. Glad you enjoy STS.

Nora, your dog sounds like my dogs. LOL! Nice going with STS, Wk1, disc#3 Plyo Legs + CM today. Have you used a golf ball for your foot? When I had Plantar facitis I had rolled a golf ball under my foot, that really mad a difference. There are also some stretches you can do for PF, I will post them later.
