I am done with 4DS BC/KB " total body weights" 97 min.:p I loved it! Didn't burn a lot! There has to be something wrong with my HR? I only burned 346 cal in 97 min.:eek: Mybe it's set for cardio? Kept the weights light, I used a 45 lb BB (squats), 25 lb BB for bic, 15's for tric sh + bic, 10's and 8's.

This is it for me today, except I still have to do my core/back workouts.Will do that later:p Will walk the dogs, once it stops raining,

Off to the shower! BBL!
 
Hi ladies. The DOMS have set in big time. Mostly my outer thighs and back. Kind of funny, yesterday I did KPC and just realized that that was exactly what was on the Oct. rotation. I was really only following the Oct. rotation for the weights and doing my own cardio. Tonight (according to the rotation) it's supposed to be Imax 1. First off, I don't really like that one so if I do an Imax it'll probably be 2. BUT, I may end up taking today as a rest day. Not sure I can get my legs moving enough to safely do step! :eek: We'll see though. Maybe they'll loosen up as the day goes on. I would have loved to have run at lunch, but I think it'd just feel more like drudgery with 500 lb legs.

Chris - loved the ideas for the Greek yogurt. Yummy.

Hi Girls!!

Today is the first leg workout in MESO 2 for me, DISC 14. I'm expecting some good DOMS from this one for some reason. My chest and shoulders were definitely talking to me yesterday from DISC 13!!

Today is sunny and beautitul out! in the 50's. Tomorrow is supposed to be cooler (a LOT cooler) with showers/snow flurries possible? I'm very tempted to do a little run after lunch at the park. Just a little one! I miss it!

Belinda: Holy COW on a 97 minute workout with 4DS!!! there's no WAY you could only have burned 346 calories! You'd burn that and MORE if you WALKED leisurely for 97 minutes!

: I can just feel your DOMS in your legs! I know what you mean about 500 lb legs when you run with that much soreness too. Sounds like maybe you could use an epsom salt bath and a good stretch . Remind me of this tomorrow if I'm crying, ok?

Tonite for me is LIS shoulders and then I was going to do C&W step but I might as well do LIS step only to warm up for shoulders. I have majors DOMS in my chest from Mondays workout.

Today is the day I leave the house about 8a and get home about 10p. So not much time for working out! And I'm really looking forward to doing Disc 12 Legs - so I'll relish that tomorrow, I guess! I was sore for DAYS after the last Leg Disc.
Sounds like everyone is off to a great start. I've got to get going - have a great day everyone....
 
Today was Meso 3, Week 3, Disc 33, Shoulders, Biceps & Triceps. Last heavy workout. I think next week we go back to the weights we did in week 2 which is weird. But whatever. I had an excellent workout and exceeded on most weights that I thought I would end up doing with this series.

Warmup:
Standing Barbell Front Press - 35#/15 reps
Standing Barbell Front Press - 40#/12 reps

Workout:
Standing Barbell Front Press - 55#/6 reps
Barbell Curl - 60#/6 reps
Flat Bench Dumbbell Tricep Extensions - 25's/6 reps
***About 60 second rest between each exercise and sets. Did 4 sets. With sets 2, 3 and 4 I increased my weight for the Front Press to 60# and the Bicep Curls to 62#. I should have tried 65#, I think I could have done it.

Seated Lateral Raise - 15's/6 reps
Incline Curls on Stablity Ball - 25's/6 reps
Seated Overhead Extensions One Arm - 20#/6 reps
***30 second rest between each exercise, 60 second rest between each set. Did 4 sets. With sets 2, 3 and 4 I increased my weights for the Overhead Extensions to 21#.

Seated Rear Delts - 25's/6 reps
Seated Concentration Curls - 30#/6 reps
Seated Overhead Dumbbell Extension - 40#/6 reps
***30 second rest between each exercise, 60 second rest between each set. Did 4 sets. Was excited to have done the concentration curls with 30# dumbbells. My wrists usually can't take that much weight. Did well. 3rd exercise was suppose to be Cross Body Extensions but my right shoulder does not like that exercise. I subbed with Seated Overhead DB Extensions.

Nora - I liked Rumble but it's definitely for an easier day. I hardly worked up a sweat. It was fun, though, I did enjoy it.

Belinda - WOW! Excellent workout! I think your HRM is high, there is no way you only burned 397 calories. No way! Nice job! How is your back?

Heather - High fives on the DOMS! You go girl!

Chris - I love the stuff you put in greek yogurt too, that sounded really good. I might just try it!

Roxie - Nice job on the DOMS!!! Woohoo!

Wendy - Wow, you work that long once in a while? That's crazy! Hope you have a good day, though!

Ok, have to laugh - only this group would cheer each other on for being so sore they can hardly move!! Kind of funny.

Good job to everyone on hump day no less.

Chris - hope you're able to get in that run today. I'll definitely remind you about epsom salt when you post tomorrow ;). I should have soaked in epsom salt last night actually.

Debbie - those crossbody extensions kill my left elbow. What's up with them causing more pain than not???? I just feel so unstable doing those.

Roxie - have fun with LIS if that's the one you do. I like that one so much better than the HIS.

Belinda - good job with your weights even if it wasn't a high-calorie burn. It was still a good workout I'm sure!

Wendy - hope you have a good day at work and enjoy your legs tomorrow.

Heather - I use to LOVE Cross Body Extensions, but now they just hurt and I never feel it in my triceps. They hurt my elbow sometimes, too.

LOL on everyone congratulating everyone for being sore! We are too funny! Or demented, one of the two!

For deadlifts today, I did leg extensions on my bench. I can’t bend over. Other than that I am fine. Do you change your HR when you do cardio or weight training? I don’t know what my DH set my HR on? What do you mean my HR is to high? What is your HR set on?

LMAO! I meant your HR monitor is on drugs. As in "high" on drugs. Sorry, I didn't mean to confuse you. I don't wear my HRM with weight training workouts. The thing drives me nuts when I wear it for cardio so I don't bother with it for weight training workouts.

This is very sad to admit, but I am very proud to announce that I did NOT exercise today. It really took everything I had to not do it. I had to remind myself that it's OK to rest and that my poor legs deserve it. I had errands to run, so got those done at least. Unfortunately, not time for an epsom bath :( . Maybe I can do that tomorrow. I would like to run tomorrow, but will probably end up doing Imax 2 and abs.

I hope everyone had a great workout today! ok, well great for over the hump Wednesday anyways, LOL!!

here's my workout for today:

Cardio Hits-Step Works= 60 Min
Calories burned= 573

I think this was the first time I've done this particular workout. It was fun but my right foot and leg and really my right side was mostly affected with MS nerve damage, so I had trouble with my right foot and leg being delayed on the moves by about 20 seconds. So that did make some the moves with the quick spins on the step and stuff tricky it through off my timing and balance a bit. Cathelete have to fight on through the tough moments so I kept going trying as best I could and modified as needed. Great step workout and so much fun the time just flew by. If anyone is wondering about cathe's older dvds if they are good or worth getting, I say yes, its cathe of course its good.

PS:Back,Bi's & Abs. Just Abs only= 10.5 Min
Calories burned= 72

Ok, I'm done for today. I need to rest before my shower, have a great evening girls and I'll seeya at tomorrow's check in.;)
