Crazy, Strong and Loving it for May 2014!!

Good Evening,

Yesterday I did run/walk intervals on the TM for 30 minutes and my planks and today I did KCM Kickboxing 2 and planks. We had a great day yesterday DD, SIL, and GS came down and we went to the lake.

Nora-not sure I want to order anymore Cathes KCM is kind of topping her right now.

Debbie-awesome job sounds like the new workouts are what you are looking for.

Today's plan is: 4DS Legs+Core, P90X3 Accelerator. This weekend I signed up for Suzanne Bowen 1 Year streaming workouts. Yesterday I started with SBF "Toned in 4" rotation, D1 BSF Lower Body Barre 3, today I will do D2 BSF Triceps, 15 +Stopwatch Planks 3, 15

Today I did Cardio Coach 6 with Candace but only did Challenge 1, 2 and 4. I skipped 3 because I don't like doing it. I almost stopped after the first challenge because both of my knees were really hurting. Once I got past the first challenge they were better so I kept going. What is up with that?

Workout was 47 minutes, ran 2.8 miles and burned 403 calories.

And thanks to Roxie giving me the motivation to start doing planks again, I did 4 - 20 second planks. Wow, those are hard for me right now. I'm going to work my way up and get my endurance up again on these. They are hard! Thanks Roxie! :)

I seen the announcement about Cathe's new workouts. If it wasn't for the HIIT stuff, I'd get them. However, I may get them anyways because there is a lot on XTrain I really don't want to do, but I'm still glad I got the entire series.

I can't believe how many workouts Cathe puts out in a year. :eek:

P90X3 Accelerator plus SB Triceps =15 min and Stopwatch Planks =15 min is done! Have to give my wrist a little break before I do 4DS legs/abs:p

Debbie - good job this morning. I am on the fence about Cathe's new series:eek: I am getting a little tired of doing the same moves over and over again. Like tuck jumps, air jumps and jumping jacks:roll eyes: Maybe that's way I enjoy doing P90X3 so much, the moves are different:D My husband said, how many heavy weight workouts do you need anymore? :eek: He said, there are only so many different curls exercises you can do:p LOL! I know, he is right…but oh well:p I do like the idea of shorter workouts:eek:

Belinda- Nicely done with P90X3 Accelerator plus SB Triceps =15 min and Stopwatch Planks =15 min, and after a break 4DS legs/abs. Awesome stuff girlfriend, you go girl that is an awesome workout, bravo!:):D

Debbie- Great workout with Cardio Coach 6 with Candace did Challenge 1, 2 and 4. I love how you customized the workout for you and what you felt like doing today, that is great. There is nothing wrong with modifying the workout to suit for any reason. The main thing is you got it done, well done and congrats on a great workout! I'm excited about Cathe's new workout series she's working on I think the heavy weights will be awesome, the HiiT cardios look good I will modify if needed but like the short intense workouts I can modify the impact if needed just take the jumps out etc... Make the move smaller without the hop or jumps.

Today I did Burn Sets Bi's and Tri's and had an excellent workout!! Love love love this one!!! However, I think Cathe needs to rest longer between exercises. I paused for a few to stretch. This one seems rushed compared to the Chest, Back and Shoulders one.

This is what I did:

BICEPS
Dumbbell Curls - 20's - 1 set 10 reps; 15's - 1 set 10 reps; 3rd set 14 reps
Simultaneous Rotational Curls - 15's - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 10 reps
Concentration Curls - 20# - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 10 reps
Hammer Curl Double Arm Crazy 8's - 12's - 24 reps

Concentration curls really hurt my elbows. Not sure why?

TRICEPS
Tricep Pushups - 3 sets
Lying Tricep Extensions - 12's - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 14 reps
One Arm Kickbacks - 8's - 2 sets 10 reps; 3rd set 14 reps
Double Arm Overhead Extension w/Tubing - 12 reps - Couldn't do the pulses, this killed me!

I also did 4 sets of 20 second elbow planks.

Need to go up in a few exercises with triceps. Really felt this workout.

Belinda - Your husband has a good point. I'll have to review these new workouts and see if I really want them. Maybe I'll just order the weight workouts? Not sure yet.

I see you did Burn Sets Bi's and Tri's from XTrain, all the weight ones are amazing from XTrain all nice and heavy, so awesome I love them too! I think my favorites from XTrain are the weights ones Burn Sets, Legs, Supersets, tabatacise, and All Out Low Impact HiiT and all the premixes too! P90X3 Pilates and 4DS Low Intensity Step/Shoulder+Calves are done. I skipped the core, worked them yesterday.:D

Debbie - good job on your workout! I pause that remote when I need to:p If the new dvd's are 50% off, you better off getting the entire set. I am going through/I mean counting all my dvd's:roll eyes: Should be interesting.:eek:

I did Cathe's Low Impact Step and my planks before we went to the lake today.

Debbie-I have been doing planks for a month and they aren't getting any easier.

Belinda-I tried selling some of Cathe's workouts at a garage sale but no one bought them.

I will do 4DS Bic + Triceps and P90X3 Agility. I also will do a stretch from SBF.

Yesterday I did a little inventory of my Cathe dvd collection:roll eyes: I own 126 dvd's (need to recount them,it doesn't sound right to me…since I own all the Cathe dvd's except her last once?), not to mention some of them have like 3 workouts on each dvd and endless premixes. Haven't gotten around to count all the workouts + all the premixes. Will do that today. I am overwhelmed with my large workout dvd collection. I still have to count all my downloads and other instructors. How many Cathe workout dvd's do I need? I think I will pass Cathe's upcoming series. I always can do one of her premixes, to make the workout shorter:eek:

Roxie - your comment made me laugh out lout:eek:Have you tried selling them on amazon? I am trying to figure out what I am gonna do with mine? Good job yesterday.

Today I did my own Burn Set Leg workout again and then added some from Xtrain Legs. I had a great workout.

Dumbbell Squats - 25's - 3 sets 10 reps
Barbell Deadlifts - 50# - 3 sets 10 reps

I did Xtrain Legs from Wall Squats on but skipped the Forward Leaning Lunges with the cups because that really hurts my knee. The rest I can do and love all the exercises!!!

I think I am going to take next week off because I have a lot of early morning meetings plus I've been working out for 12 weeks straight. I need a break. So next week you probably won't hear from me much.

I love how you made this even more effective for you by eliminating the dixie cup forward leaning lunges that hurt your knees. That's the way to train smarter, bravo! Glad you were able to customize the workout for you, that is awesome. Well done girlfriend, I know that was one heck of an effective leg workout today. Bravo :D:):cool: Its good your taking next week as a rest week and off from working out. It sounds like it will be a busy week coming up so its good you can rest and recharge a bit. Went for a 4.5 mile walk with the dogs this morning, I also did P90X3 YogaX and BSF UB stretch.
