Hey all!
Just getting settled into my week here... and it's half way done! LOL!
I was hoping Cathe's Feb 2013 Rotation would be different. I like it, but I did want to do one more month of Xtrain's strength workouts. So I decided to loosely follow the Xtrain/Ride 30 Day Rotation. Instead of Ride (I don't have it or a bike), I will run or do another cardio. I also am taking part in a FB group's 100 Rep Challenge. A different 100 RC every day of March.
Monday I did Xtrain Burn Sets: Chest Back Shoulders. And then did 100 RC Lateral Lifts Shoulders on Xtrain.
Yesterday I did Cardio Leg Blast + 100 Crunches.
Today I did a mish mosh of Imaxes!!! I started with Imax warm up and then did 3 intervals from it, 3 from Imax 2 and then 3 from Imax 3 + the stretch! It really was fun! Challenging too! My 100 RC was Chest Presses
I totally need to do more Yoga, Debbie. I was just thinking that. I need to make time. Even if I have to ditch one of my workouts during the week.
Belinda: Glad you're feeling better so you could do TJ! Did you get all the workouts? My favorite one is Kickin' Core. The cardio part is so fun!
Roxie: What a great idea to look at the gyms for a job! Or maybe if they have a YMCA? Nice going on the workouts this week. ARe you following a rotation?
Debbie: That run workout sounds fun! Glad you're getting an xray. what a crazy ride with that shoulder!! Have you looked at different workouts you might do ok with? Like Crossfit stuff? or circuit style workouts, where you go lighter on the weights? I can imagine you'd get bored with just the treadmill and yoga stuff. You've been doing that for a while!
Nora: That's great you're working Xtrain in! I really love Xtrain!!!! The weight work has done great things for my upper body. I've never had the DOMS in my back from back work like those from Xtrain.
other than that, same ol' same ol' here! that's good! Only thing I'm craving is nice warm outside weather. there's been a taste of it here and there, but then it snows and it's over. I need Spring!
