Crazy, strong and loving it for March!!

Good Morning,

I am down to 2 boxes that need unpacked and then I need to get the sparebedroom cleaned up. I figured out what is causing my funk we have only had sunshine 1 day this week its pretty depressing to wake up everyday to grey skies. I will do Tabata 2 plus Core 1 and BS Chest Back and Shoulders then when I get home from the bank I will try and do legs.

I will TJ today, lol. I had to contact Beachbody yesterday, some of the bonus dvds didn't arrive...arrrr. The set comes with 2 extra workouts. I also need to check Hip Hop Abs and Rocking Body if I got all my extra bonus dvds.

Les Mills Combat- Warrior 2 Lower Body Lean Out= 30 Min
MV= 8.0
CB= 328

Les Mills Combat- Core Attack= 20 Min
MV= 5.0
CB= 137

Total calories burned= 465

Wow! I really love LMC Core Attack that is the toughest ab workout I've ever done even tougher than P90X Ab work. Its da bomb love it, but then again I love all of Les Mills Combat, its awesome!;) That's it for me girls, have a blessed weekend full of positive goodness.

Today was cardio and I chose a Cardio Coach mix of mine. I did ok with it, didn't feel much like working out today. It's Monday and all, and it was hard getting up so early. But I feel good now and I am glad I did it!

Today was cardio and I chose Yoga Max by Cathe. BORING. Getting tired of my workout rotation. I want to lift weights. My kitties kept it fun for me, though!

Nora - Thanks for always being my cheerleader! You always make me feel like I've accomplished great things when I workout! LOL! I need my energy back so I can workout like I use to.

Oh, by the way, I'm getting x-rays taken on April 1st to see what's going on with my shoulder issues. They are going to do a spinal series x-ray. I don't think it's a bone related, but we have to start somewhere. And you never know, maybe a bone is putting pressure on the muscle or something. So anyways, it's after my mom's surgery. I wish I could have made the appointment earlier, but I can't take any more days off from work. I hope they can figure out what this problem is.

Today I will do the workouts I didn't do yesterday plus Cardio Leg Blast. I woke up with a headache. Dh and I bought a sleep number bed hoping it will hell with his back problems and my shoulders.

Debbie-I hope they find something with the xrays that help you get back to working out.

Debbie- I think we all need cheering on with our workouts for whatever reason, I know I sure do. Your welcome for the cheering, you always cheer me on so I'm happy to do so likewise. I'm glad to hear that you do have an appointment for X-rays, its a good start and hopefully it will help to figure it all out and get some meaningful relief and help to get rid of the pain and discomfort. I know yoga is not as exciting or fun as lifting weights is but I think the object of the game now is not to make it worse between now and seeing the doctor and the X-rays. Hang in there.;)

Roxie- Wow~ I hope the Sleep number bed does the trick for helping with relief from pain, that will be awesome. Let me know how it does for you;) Good luck and have a great workout, just don't over do it with all the workouts. I know that's silly coming from me, right? LOL!! Just be safe;):cool:

Nora - thanks for asking. I am feeling better, just a little ran down. How many weeks do you have left with Les Mill? Sorry for asking again:confused:

Tonite I did total body stretching, xtrain cardio leg blast 1-5 I couldn't do 6 and I wasn't up to do it all had a frustrating evening and then I did shape abs.

Belinda-glad to hear you are feeling better and good job with your workout.
 
Today was cardio and I chose Run Fit. I love this workout so much. I did excellent with it! My running is really improving.

Just getting settled into my week here... and it's half way done! LOL!

I was hoping Cathe's Feb 2013 Rotation would be different. I like it, but I did want to do one more month of Xtrain's strength workouts. So I decided to loosely follow the Xtrain/Ride 30 Day Rotation. Instead of Ride (I don't have it or a bike), I will run or do another cardio. I also am taking part in a FB group's 100 Rep Challenge. A different 100 RC every day of March.

Monday I did Xtrain Burn Sets: Chest Back Shoulders. And then did 100 RC Lateral Lifts Shoulders on Xtrain.

Yesterday I did Cardio Leg Blast + 100 Crunches.

Today I did a mish mosh of Imaxes!!! I started with Imax warm up and then did 3 intervals from it, 3 from Imax 2 and then 3 from Imax 3 + the stretch! It really was fun! Challenging too! My 100 RC was Chest Presses

I totally need to do more Yoga, Debbie. I was just thinking that. I need to make time. Even if I have to ditch one of my workouts during the week.

Belinda: Glad you're feeling better so you could do TJ! Did you get all the workouts? My favorite one is Kickin' Core. The cardio part is so fun!

Roxie: What a great idea to look at the gyms for a job! Or maybe if they have a YMCA? Nice going on the workouts this week. ARe you following a rotation?

Debbie: That run workout sounds fun! Glad you're getting an xray. what a crazy ride with that shoulder!! Have you looked at different workouts you might do ok with? Like Crossfit stuff? or circuit style workouts, where you go lighter on the weights? I can imagine you'd get bored with just the treadmill and yoga stuff. You've been doing that for a while!

Nora: That's great you're working Xtrain in! I really love Xtrain!!!! The weight work has done great things for my upper body. I've never had the DOMS in my back from back work like those from Xtrain.

other than that, same ol' same ol' here! that's good! Only thing I'm craving is nice warm outside weather. there's been a taste of it here and there, but then it snows and it's over. I need Spring! :eek:

Roxie- Great job of getting the workout done, that's always a great sense of accomplishment to get another one done and in the books. Please don't get frustrated, just take a deep breath and relax. Plus bare in mind that if your feeling stressed and frustrated it does help to do a punching and kicking type of workout. I know for me that always seems to unburden me and feel great afterwards. Hang in there and keep a positive out look and a sense of humor it really helps. Take care girlfriend:)

Belinda- Hi glad your feeling better. I finished Les Mills Combat about 2 and a half weeks ago. I keep doing the workouts because I'm addicted to them I love them so much. Nice job with Xtrain Burn Sets Chest, Back, and Shoulders. Take care and be well.:)

We have well over 7" of snow. I am so tired of the white stuff. I need sunshine.

I am going though/organizing all my workout dvds. I have a lot:confused:....need to count them.

Chris - I think you talking about Turbo Fire? I bought Turbo Jam. Lots of fun. I love doing mish moshes.

Nora - I thought you did, you got me all confused doing Les Mill. Good for you.
