Crazy, strong and loving it for March 26 - April 1, 2012

Today was cardio and I got on my treadmill and listened to my music and walked through the songs but jogged through the choruses. Fun stuff and more challenging than I thought it would be. Some songs' choruses are repeated over and over at the end, that is killer!

I have a song on my mp3 player called "Undead" by Hollywood Undead. The chorus starts at the beginning of the song and repeats every 10 seconds it seemed. That one was brutal! :eek:

Nora - I've gone up to around 285# with the leg press. Really, it's not that hard because you are laying on your back and pushing the weights up with your legs. You have way more stability this way so you can go way heavy. 200# is really nothing on this thing. I think I have loaded it up with all my weights and it adds up to around 285# maybe a little more. It's tough, don't get me wrong, but you are able to lift a lot more laying down than you are with weights on the shoulders or standing up at a machine. But thanks! :)
 
Good Morning,

Tonite is a walk with DD if its not raining and then do some more packing. I am taking a few hours off this afternoon to watch them put the trusses on DDs house which finally means we can put a roof on it but I am hoping the wind doesn't cause a problem.

I'm feeling really yucky today. I did get my workout in and thank goodness it was an easier day workout wise.

DD and I went for a walk out at her current residence and it was nice then DH and I went to Carlos for supper. The trusses went up without a hitch so now they can work on the roof.

Today was total body and I had good workout. Nice, short and sweet.

2 sets/15 reps with 2 minutes rest between each set.

Weighted Bench Dips - 35#

Incline Hammer Curls - 15's

Plie Squats - 30#

Lateral Raise - 8's

Dumbbell Pullovers - 15#

Pushups - BW

Hi Girls!

You've all been busy the last few days!

I had my physical Wednesday. Meh. He ordered sinus Xrays, and they called to tell me they were negative for sinusitis. So I'm not really sure where these headaches are coming from. I'm going to try one last "plan" of taking Zyrtec and steroid nasal spray every night for a bit and see how I feel. If it doesn't make a difference, my primary will recommend a neurologist. yay. (not). I'm not a fan of doctors .

Anyhow! ... I woke up yesterday with a ... HEADACHE! HA! .... Ended up taking Aleve-D and was in a fog all day, but I did do Stretch X, which is a WICKED thorough amazing hour stretch!!! I needed that!

Today I subbed for Core Synergistics. I did Cathe's original Bootcamp , but only the cardio & the core. That was for about 35 minutes, so i filled the rest of the hour with Turbo Jam Cardio Party 3. A blast from the past!

Debbie: Awesome job on the weights this week and love the plan of running hard during the chorus! Fun!

Roxie: Sounds like you've been busy with your DD , but getting walks in AND you finally got your weight work in! I know you said you wanted to do that.

Belinda: This is a bad week? I hope you find something to make it better!!! Nice job on workouts, even still!

Nora: Hope YOU are feeling better too!!! You are moving right along with Les Mills. How long do the workouts for? A month? or 90 days?

I'm going to be trying out Jillian's Body Revolution soon, to see if I like it (borrowing it from a friend). These workouts intrigue me!

Yesterday ended up being a rest day. Today I did CCPP in honor of Coach Sean!

Nora - I can't believe you worked out with a fever and chills?? Please, take it easy and get better. Those workouts will be there when you feel 100%! REST! (((HUGS)))

Roxie - (((HUGS)) you would think it gets easier as the years go by, but not.
 
Chris - hope they can figure out soon were those headaches are coming from (((HUGS))) I know, it must be frustrating. Good job, keeping up with your workouts. How did you like Jillian workout?
