Hi ladies. I was too lazy to get up and do my workout this morning. Planning on doing it at lunch though. I think I'll do one of the shorter premixes from SB then bis/tris using drop sets. Not sure exactly which exercises I'll be doing yet though. Maybe hammer, curls, incline curls and overhead extension, kickbacks, lying extensions.

Debbie and Belinda - way to rock out the weights!!

Good Morning,

Didn't sleep well last night so I didn't get up and get my workout in which is something I am going to have to do this week with mom coming. I am hoping DH stays in Hays tonite so I can come home after work get my workout done and then go to sleep. I am either going to do Push Pull or KCMs 30min to Muscle Definition. I discovered I have another bedroom in my house forgot about that, haven't seen the bed in so long.

Belinda-holy cow girl your wts look like Debbies you all make me feel like a wimp.

Debbie-impressive as always but still no abs. Hope your cough doesn't get any worse.

Belinda - Nice workout and excellent on the weights! How is your back doing?? I'm thinking it's getting better!

Heather - Did you ever decide on a rotation? I hate not knowing what I'm suppose to do that day. That's why I always have a rotation to do. Love drop sets. Hope you have a great workout! Edited: I just went back and read Friday's posts - I know what you mean about following DVD's. I prefer not too because I love listening to my own music. But you asked about doing Meso 2 and 3 and I don't see any reason why you couldn't.

Roxie - It's only Monday. I'll get my ab work in sometime this week. Thanks for the reminder, though! Hope you are feeling better.

Wendy - I haven't had a chance to get my motorcycle out yet, even with the few beautiful days we've had. I'm itching to get back on it! How about you?

Nora - How are you doing, girl? I'm still using your heat bags and love them. They really do help with tight muscles! Thanks again for making them for me.

Jessica - Where are you? :D

Chris - Where are you? :D

Patti - I seen you posted on Friday! Good to see you girl! We miss you here and on the Hardcore check in.

Hi Girls...

Tough night at work last night, I'm so tired! But off to go do LIC... hopefully once I get going the fatigue will magically disappear and motivation will kick in!!

Great weights (BIG WEIGHTS!!) Belinda and Debbie!

Roxie and Heather: Hope you get a good workout in today!, Roxie, 30 minutes is do-able! That's what I love about 30 minute workouts, so quick!

*waves* to Jessica, Wendy and Nora!!! Looking forward to hearing about your kickbutttt workouts!!

I went home and did the SB premix of 1, 2 and the challenge then did bis/tris using drop sets: 12, 10, 8, 6.

DB curls - 16.5's
Hammer curls - 15's (sad I had to go down)
Incline curls (on ball) - 13.5's, embarrassed.
Lying DB extensions - 10's (probably could have done 11, but elbow hurting
Kickbacks - 10's
Overhead extension - 15 (should have done 18)

Kind of embarrassed with my weights today. They seem so low. Trying not to beat myself up.

Debbie - I don't have a rotation yet and it's got me just a tad freaked. I did pyramids 2 weeks then the drop sets this week. May do another week of drops and then go from there. I kind of see them as part strength and part endurance.

Can I just say? The fact that I was missed on this forum today made my DAY. I had a horrid day at work and am in the most foul, down-and-out frustrated mood EVER. About to hop online to do some serious job searching right after this, I'm so sick of being miserable all day at work, despite my best efforts to seek out the "little things" that make me smile throughout the day, it's getting so hard.

Gah.

Sorry, just had to get that off my chest, thanks for bearing with me ;)

And, as usual, you all inspire me to lift, lift, lift! Those weight numbers are insane ladies! Rock on!

As for me? I did manage to hit up Power this morning after a wee bit too much sangria last night, but all good, worth it!! :)

Good Evening,

Tonite I decided to go ahead and do Push Pull but skipped the ab work and supermans. Laying down the few times I did about made me throw up. I have an appt. Thursday with and Ear, Nose and Throat Dr.

Stats:
42 min
34 in the zone
141 min hr
177 max hr
281 cals burned.

Used mainly 5 and 8lb wts except on the one arm rows I used 15lbs. My body is shaking haven't worked out like that in awhile but I knew I really needed it.

Hi girls -

Glad to see everyone checking in - Nora, I'm guessing you'll log on here shortly!
This morning I did Hiit 30/30 - loved it! After work I did PUB. I haven't done that one in a long time and really enjoyed it. I did not do all the pikes at the end - she doesn't stop and give your wrists a break on this one!
We fly down to SD on Thursday!!! I'm trying to get all the laundry done. We'll be gone for 8 days (including our time in AZ at the in-laws).
Sorry for the rotten day at work, Jessica. Hope your evening is good.
Chris, I hope your workout energizes you! Did you do LIC?
Great weights, Heather. I think they're great - you shouldn't apologize!
Debbie, I hope your congestion goes away. I got out on my bike the other day, and I'm hoping to get out on Wednesday, but the kids have a half day.....
Roxie, good job getting your workout done. Going to the doctor again?
Belinda, have a great day with your DH. You are rockin STS!!!
Nora, doing anything for Spring Break? Hope you're enjoying your family!
Later, gators!

Hi girls;)

I'm feeling so sad and am grieving having to put down my beloved german shepherd of 10 years, Vader, this morning. Needless to say I've been crying alot today. We had Vader put down this morning and brought him home to bury him in the back yard. Its just so hard for me because he was my dog and my furry baby. It just hurt to see him get sick and have sore and not be able to heal and the nerve function in his back legs and bowel just not work too well. He lost 16 pounds of muscle in two months. He was a an extremely big muscular german shepherd, the perfect specimen of one so he didn't have 16 pounds to lose at all. I'm still crying my eyes out. I did manage to do a workout but I wasn't really into as you can imagine given the circumstances.

Here's today's workout:

MMA Kickbox = 53 Minutes
Calories burned= 514

S&H Shoulders Only- warmup,shoulder work, and stretch= 36 min
Calories burned= 295

Total calories burned= 809

On a slightly brighter note my hubby wanted to get another dog soon, so we went to the animal shelter and found this 6 month old male puppy that's a Australian Shepherd/Boarder collie mix. Its going to be a much smaller dog and looks nothing like Vader amd is nothing like his Alpha Male protector demeanor. He's sweet and super smart. He already behaves on a leash, which is suprising for a puppy. Hubby, wanted a dog because he works nights and wanted me to have a dog to alert and deter anything unwanted visitor or intruder wise at night. We did have a blue healer which is an
Australian cattle dog before and he was extremely smart and easy to train and very well behaved dog. He was very social and protective. Vader being a very alpha male type german shepherd was extremely protective and an excellent guard dog. He was a real sweetie and very loving to his family, we will be missed deeply by me and my family.

Needless to say, I'm still crying and not really able to function and not able to do personals today, please forgive me. Hopefully, I'll be better tomorrow, but either way I will workout and check in.:(

Good night girls, great job on your workouts today!

Hugs!

Nora

Debbie, I am always impressed with your weights. WTG! Thanks for asking, my back is doing great. Sometimes it still hurts a little, but for the most part it feels great. I am wearing a back support, that really helps with my workouts. I am also still doing all those PT exercises. Made a big difference! I am just glad to be back! Hope you feel better soon.

Rockie, I am not even close to what Debbie lifts, lol. BTW, you are not a wimp. Nice job on PP. Hope you feel better.

Heather, wtg on your weight workouts. I am always impressed by your weights and workouts! Don't feel bad, girl!

Chris, hope you had a blast doing LIC today.

Jessica, sorry you had a bad day at work. Nice job on the Power this morning!

Wendy, awesome job on your workouts today. You will have a blast in SD:D Take lots of pic!

Nora, ((((HUGSS)))) So sorry for your loss! I had to put down my yorkie in 2004, DH was in Irag at that time! That was the hardest thing I ever had to do! She was my baby! I cried for a very long time, still miss her. When are you gonna pick up the new puppy?

Have a great evening, ladies!
