Hi and good morning from Luxenbourg:p

I am still here! We are in Luxenbourg since Sunday, having a blast! We are leaving on Wednesday. Saturday I did DM Cardio premix 63 min. and on Sunday I did ME. Tuesday I took a rest day. Not sure if I have time to jump on the TM in the hotel? I do get in a lot of walkingl. I will try to come back later.

Today was STS Disc #3 Legs. I forgot how killer those workouts were too. I hope I can walk tomorrow - I'm already sore! I have some good chest doms from yesterday as well. :) Burned 325 calories today, cool!

Below is a pic of my tattoo - hopefully it works... It was a little painful - but bearable.

Didn't workout yesterday, had to take my mom in for her left eye to get surgery done on it. She did really well again. Honestly, I had all day to workout, I just didn't feel like it. I previewed Amy Bento's Kickbox Surge and that workout looks really fun. A bit repetitive, but fun. I will try to do it sometime this week.

Today I did Power Hour. Haven't done that workout in a long long time. Had fun with it and I even did the ab work. :eek: Kept my weights very light but still got a great burn.

Karen - Very cool tattoo!!! I like it alot!
 
I did PUB this morning and the warm up and sporty step portions of Mindy Mylrea's Cardio Toolbox- good stuff. I upped the weights on everything but shoulders so I was happy about that.

Karen: That's beautiful- I really like it. It does look painful right now. Drink to dull the pain. :D

Hey Everyone..

I just did Jari's Get Ripped for the first time, for my total body weightwork today. I had picked it up in the grocery check out aisle for $5 about a month ago! I went heavier on some of the weights, but really, the endless reps surprisingly got me good, esp the shoulders.

Karen: I'm not much of a tatoo girl, but I REALLY like yours! That is very unique and very pretty! And yes, it does look painful... i agree with patti, some strong shots of hard liquor should dull the pain! Hope you survived STS Leg ok!...

Belinda: Great workouts! YOu go! Are you on vacation?

I am really thinking about PUB/PLB premix for my next weight workout this week. I haven't done the PYramids in a LONG LONG time, and always love them!. and of course, Mindy is a hoot while kicking your buttocks!...

Debbie: great workout today! ... I did the same thing Saturday, just couldn't bring myself to do my cardio workout and my boys were in a crazy mood, so I didn't do it at all. Sometimes you just gotta! Good one for today! I thought about PH too! Glad your mom is doing ok!

Oh. wanted to share a good, quick, tasty recipe I made yesterday! It was delish and surprisingly good with the smoked sausage, but I bet you could use chicken too....


Smoked Sausage with Pasta
Light & Tasty
Serves 4

4 ounces uncooked angel hair pasta
1/2 pound smoked turkey kielbasa, cut into 1/2-inch slices
2 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
2 garlic cloves, minced
4-1/2 teaspoons minced fresh basil or 1-1/2 teaspoons dried basil
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cups julienned seeded plum tomatoes
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper


Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in a large nonstick
skillet, saute the sausage, mushrooms, garlic and basil in oil until mushrooms
are tender. Drain pasta; add to the sausage mixture. Add the tomatoes, salt
and pepper; toss gently. Heat through. Yield: 4 servings.

One serving (1-1/4 cups) equals 258 calories, 9g fat, 0mg chol, 611mg
sodium, 30g carb, 3g fiber, 16g protein
Exchanges: 2 lean meat, 1-1/2 starch, 1 vegetable, 1/2 fat
 
Hi girlies -

Sorry I've not checked in much lately. Working a lot, plus having gone to my brother's, 4th of July, now I'm sick! I've been taking ibuprofen and hot baths the last couple of days. My back and chest just ache....
I haven't even read the old posts. I hope everyone is well. I'll catch up soon, I hope!
 
I'm not really much of a tattoo girl either - but there is no turning back now! My DH actually designed this tattoo for me so that was cool. Its not too red anymore - just starting to itch now. :(

I'm off to do some mowing-max. I'll try to post some of our hiking pics in the next few days.

I'm doing Debbie's Get ready for summer rotation this month, but I substituted In the Ring with KPC.
Amy Bento's In The Ring= 75 minutes
Calories burned= 819

This was a fun workout and I sweated buckets but its great to have a nice calorie burn like that.

I was wondering what you guys think of Amy Bento's Rumble, or Powerstrike, Body strikes. I've been thinking about getting one of them but wasn't sure which one to get.
