Today my plan is to go to the gym, maybe I will get a run in?

Heather, you know what? I was looking at my recipe from yesterday, I realized when I mad hummus 2 days ago, I forgot the olive oil. LOL! It still was very good! Thanks for posting your recipe yesterday.

Chris, I am glad to hear you are feeling much better. Make sure you drink lots of water. Awesome job with ME premix, that’s a tough one. I never used cannelline beans in hummus, like I sad before I can only find white beans. Not sure if they are the same. If you have time, would you share your hummus recipe?

Debbie, hope you relaxing and stretching that leg! Yesterday I deleted the 6 ½ month rotation from the WM, in September DH and I are going (for our 25th anniversary) on vacation. We are looking into Italy or Greece? (((HUGS))) picking up your dad’s ashes, I can’t imagine how hard that must be. Hope your mom is doing ok!

Nora, how are you feeling? You got a nice calorie burn from LL yesterday. Nice job, girl! I am also every excited about STS Shock Cardio, I just hate learning new tricky steps.

Rockie, nice going with your eats yesterday! WTG on HS circuit yesterday.

I just got done with CCPP:p I had a great run. I ran 5 1/2 miles, no extra challenge!:p I don't know how the girls do it ,adding an extra challenge? I burned 850 cal. That's it for me today! I will get a nice stretch in today!

Good Morning,

Today is a 30 min walk with a weighted vest but I don't own one of those so I will just walk, wanted to go outside but its raining here so looks like the TM an then I will sts med ball abs.
 
I'm being a bit lazy right now and procrastinating with getting started on today's workouts. Watching the Food Network instead. :p DH got up early to go on a bike ride with a group so I spread out and wallowed in the bed LOL. I am debating on my cardio but know I'll be doing GS chest and back.

I was a bit lazy this morning too - slept in for a little bit. Then I got up and did 4DS Bootcamp cardio and then a little bit of yoga. Now its off with the inlaws for breakfast. I need some eggs!

Hey Girls!

No headache this morning, but just feel soooo tired and wiped out with a heavy feeling in my head. But I plan on doing a shortened Interval workout (one 1/2 of IM2 I think) and then a Yoga stretch..that should feel good!

Belinda: Have fun at the gym today! I hope I have opportunity to go for a run next week. All this talk about running here has put the "bug" in me to go!... I have made a few hummus recipes, I have this one handy though:

Hummus

Serves: 12
Serving size: 2 Tbsp

This recipe for this traditional Middle Eastern dip contains a lot less fat than
other recipes; it’s delicious with raw carrots or pita bread.

1 (15-oz) can chickpeas, , drained (reserve a litle liquid)
3-6 clove garlic
1/8 c lemon juice (Juice of 1 lemon)
1/8 c lime juice (Juice of 1 lime)
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp ground cumin

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth, adding
chickpea liquid if necessary to blend. Refrigerate. Serve with crunchy
vegetables, crackers, or pita bread.

Good morning. I just got done doing 4DS Cardio Power. That workout always has a huge sweat factor for me so I love it. One more week on Debbie's rotation and then I think I'm going to try Cathe's July rotation. My butt and gut can always use some help!

Heather-you mentioned that you live in the south. Where do you live?

Patti-one week from now you will be in NJ having the time of your life!!!

Karen-enjoy that breakfast at your inlaws. I'm craving an egg sandwich but if I want one I'll have to make it myself!

Debbie-rest that leg girl. I'm anxious to hear what you think of STS. I had to take a week off during Meso 3 right in the middle so when I came back I just started that Meso all over again which I enjoyed because of Plyo legs.

Nora-good workout as usual. Did you enjoy LL?

Wendy-you wore your weighted vest while on the TM? You go girl. I've worn it once for a walk and could sure feel it in my hips.

Belinda-good run this morning!!!! I would have been upset at the picnic too. My husband always tells me to just eat the bad food because it won't kill me. OH YES IT WILL! But they never listen do they?

Chris-good job on the workout considering you got up not feeling well. Do you think you still had some anesthesia in your body? I'm considering going to the Daytona RT in the fall since I'm not doing the actual RT this year. We'll see.

Morning! We are busy on this check in lately- I like it! :) I did GS Legs this morning- we were up early thanks to the wee boy. :rolleyes: It felt great- haven't done that one in months. I was supposed to do abs but not feeling it. Maybe while the kids nap, maybe not. :p I am doing 4DS the rest of the week so I'll get 2 ab sessions in at any rate.

Debbie: I'm also thinking of you today. Enjoy your rest week and get ready for STS- can't wait to hear your thoughts on it too.

Bev: I can't WAIT!!! I'm a bit nervous since I don't know anyone but everyone says that it's really OK. I would love to do Daytona- my BF lives in Tampa and I am trying to convince her that I could fly down and we could drive over.

Karen: Enjoy your ILs visit- way to get the workout in before the day gets too crazy. When we have company, that's the only way I get it done!

Belinda: Now that's a calorie burn! :eek: Hmm, do I need CCPP? I have CC 1 and 3- what is your favorite?

Patti-I know it wasn't enough cals but I just didn't know where to add any more. I am not really hungry which is what the pill does so I would have to eat just to get cals in. No I haven't found anywhere that does percentages.

I do love this busier check in too, lately!

I ended up doing the 2nd half of IM2. When I only do 1/2, I love the 2nd half, because I have so much more energy for those blasts than I do when they're on the END of the workout. Fun!! And the music , weeee!, THAT is the workout to do when you don't feel like doing one!! Plus, I get to do the Pina Coloda song, which always puts me in a better mood. I did the Extended Stretch from STS afterwards. it felt good, and I wish it was longer, because I felt like I could curl up and go to sleep at the end....

Bev: That cardio power from 4DS *is* a crazy sweaty workout! Good one!!.. How did you do with Debbie's Rotation? Do you think you see any results or differences? I'm debating on doing that one, or , actually, I think I should lean towards heavier weight work, like a 4DS/GS combination/rotation next...... I think the way I'm feeling is related to the meds I got on Wednesday plus it's "TOM" for me . I'm on BCP's and on my 4 days off a month, IF I get symptoms, it's just fatigue and lethargy. But i think it could be the meds too, because I've been getting dizzy since Wednesday, too..... Is there a big daytona RT going on? A lot of people? I wish there was something up towards my way, would love to get together!

Patti: I haven't done GS Legs in forever either! I do remember it kicks butt, though! There's ball work at the end, right? *shudder*. You're right, thinking that 1/2 IM2 is "taking it easy" is a little crazy and Cathe-induced craziness! It felt good though, I'm glad I did it. I hope I feel better too, I have to work the weekend & so does DH, so it's going to be tougher than usual.

Roxie: Good workout today even without the vest. Sometimes you have to vary the intensities, I think. Med Ball abs is my fave off of STS abs, I think. See, that's what I don't get about your doctor perscribing diet pills, when you don't eat enough calories as it is. Not good!... are you still taking them, then? Just be careful and try to make higher calorie choices when you DO eat! Throw some olive oil on your salad, dip some veggies/crackers in hummus or guacamole. .. Take care of yourself!!

Time to whip up some lunch for me and the boys.....

Lunch was peanut butter on a whole wheat bagel and cucumbers soaked in vinegar. I am going to have a peach later went to the farmers market.

Heather – I love the FN! Do I miss watching it. We do get it on AFN (military channels), it only comes on for an half hour at 6 a.m, once a week! Emeril comes on every afternoon
for an hour. WOW, you had a lot of energy today. Look at those cal. burn, girl! WTG!

Patti, I bet you getting excited about the RT? I love all CC’s! I never did CCV8, lol! CCPP is the hardest one, IMO! It’s a tough one for sure! WTG on GS legs, burn those legs! I also have abs to do today, but I will do them tomorrow.

Just got home from work. I got a kickboxing wo from Netflix yesterday that I'm going to do today...Amy Bento, I think. Whenever I read about your non-Cathe workouts I always look for them on Netflix. So someone must've given it a thumbs up. And yesterday's wo was the upper body from the original BodyMax. It was just what I needed as my bi's/tri's were still sore from PUB earlier in the week.
Gonna be hot here and just get HOTTER! In the low 100's next week - rare for the NW. I have to work in the morning again, and I may ride my bike in!
Patti...that's right - the RT is coming. I am confident that you will have a memorable time!
Roxie...continue to make good choices. Baby steps.
Bev...you know, I think walking outside with the vest would be harder than the TM. I mean, the belt does half the work for you!

Wow, you ladies totally rock, what awesome workouts you've all had today. I'd write more on personals but I'm having trouble with typing my right hand most effected by MS is feeling tired so I can't really do a lot with that hand.
I apologize for not keeping up with personals, its not that I don't want to but I'm not able to do it.

Nora - I don't know your situation since I'm new to this thread. But, I have to say I am very humbled by you. You have MS and are obviously not letting it get you down. I hear so many lame excuses about why people can't exercise and such. You rock!
