Hi and good morning,

It sure was quit around here yesterday:rolleyes:

I am getting ready for M1 D1:eek: and abs!

I will be back to report my workout!

Have a great Monday, everyone!

Morning,
I am done with Meso 1 Disc 1  , plus the extended stretch + Ab Circuits “No Equipment Abs”Time went by so fast! I had a lot of fun! To my surprise, my weights stayed the same:p

Have a great workout and day, everyone! Work it!:p

Morning,

I am super, super tired this morning. I actually slept in. I will try to get my workout in later today. BM2 is on the agenda - but I don't know that I will get that much time to workout tonight. I'll try though...

Yesterday I took a rest day while we did yardmax and drivewaymax. DH and I were pooped out by the end of the day. The work is paying off though - everything looks awesome! Now its back to work today and I have a meeting with my boss later today...those are always a waste of time...

Belinda - Your starting STS again? Awesome girl!

Good morning Karen and all who follow today,

Yah, I started STS again. I am hoping to make once through:eek: The wo are so much fun. Good for you sleeping in, nothing wrong with that. Hope you get BM2 in later. Enjoy!

DH is coming home tomorrow, I am cleaning the house. Still have to walk the dogs! BBL!

Morning! I have some cardio on the agenda- something lower impact today. My knees are bugging me a bit so I am trying to take care.

Belinda: That's great that your weights stayed the same. Enjoy STS. I am waiting until shock cardio comes out to do it again, I think.

Karen: Good call on sleeping in- somedays it just has to happen. Plus, to do BM2 you gotta have your energy. If you don't get to it all, no big deal. There is always tomorrow. :)

Heather: Glad you liked the pancakes- I do add cinnamon, forgot to mention that. :) I also have extracts on hand and use almond or others in there and it's a nice change.

BBL. Have a great day everyone!

Today was cardio and I had my heart set on doing Amy's In The Ring. I have two DVD players and the one that plays my Amy workouts (its a long story) wasn't working because the stupid power went out over the weekend. It reset something so I couldn't get that DVD player to work.

So I had to do Kick, Punch & Crunch and I don't particularly care for this workout. The first 10 minutes doesn't even get me out of my rest zone and the rest of the workout, although it gets me sweaty, doesn't get my HR up all that high at all. I think the highest it got was 143 bpm. I remember I use to think this workout was tough, it really isn't. I ran out of time and couldn't od the ab work.

HR STATS:
1 hr. 1 minute total
16 minutes below zone (see - this never happens)
29 minutes in zone
17 minutes above zone
467 calorie burned

Happy with the calorie burned, that kind of surprised me.

I am so disappointed this morning - it's cool out and would have been perfect weather for a run outside rather than later on the dreadmill. I don't like to run alone though and DH had his swim this morning. Oh well, c'est la vie.

So, my plan is to run (HIIT) for 30 mins then do back and chest. I'll do abs if I have time.

Debbie - I did a premix from KPC yesterday and was so annoyed at how low my HR and calorie burn was. I like the combos and such, it's just not a big ticket burner I guess. It's fun at least.

Karen - I should have done some yardmax myself this weekend. I did laundrymax if that counts!

Roxie - thanks for the comment on the pic. It was right after I finished Meso 2. I took another after Meso 3 to see the differences (though I don't have that one downloaded from the camera yet).

Hope everyone has a great Monday,
Heather

Good Morning,

Tonite is GS legs even though they ache from yesterdays 5 mile walk and I have a nice sunburn to go with it. DH took pictures while we walked and one is of me wearing a sports bra and shorts it was hot, I couldn't believe how fat I was, so needless to say today I am totally depressed and I don't even care to workout whats the point apperantly its not working. Sorry to be so whiney its also cloudy and rainy here today and I am PMSing.

Hey Roxie - you just posted some inches lost the other day so something is working. You'll feel better after you work out I'm sure!!!

Hugs - Heather

Hi everyone. I did Muscle Endurance this morning. Those leg presses seemed to be a bit easier this morning but they sure do get my HR up!!!!! And the ab section is a killer.

Patti-are you getting excited for the RT? You had better rest your knees-I saw how many workouts you will be doing! YOWZA!!!!!!

Debbie-I like KPC but it isn't a huge sweatfest like some of her other workouts are. Isn't that aggravating when you are ready to work out and something doesn't work right?

Roxie-I don't ever look at pics of myself. I don't think we are ever truly happy with our bodies. Just keep working out for the health benefit and you will feel much better about yourself!

Belinda-good for you on starting STS again. I plan to do it again once the cardio comes out.

Karen-I think sometimes we just need to get extra sleep considering how we all work out so I give in to it once in a while. Don't beat yourself up for something your body obviously needed. I'm doing Mowmax today.

Heather-have fun doing your HIIT and chest and back.

I'm making some Iron Soup that was in the Oxygen magazine today. Will let you know if it's good and then I will post the recipe.

Bev

I did Low Max- was only going to do combos 1-4 and by then I was into it so I finished it. Then I did the BC core only premix and the LM stretch.

Roxie: I can pick apart any picture of myself- it's terrible. Bev is right, just do it for your health and for how good it makes you feel and the rest will follow.

Bev: I did ME a bit ago and went too heavy on the biceps- honestly could NOT finish. Those reps never end! I will rest up for the RT (sorta)! I cannot wait, wish you were going this year.

Heather: Are you doing c & b on your own? That's nice you and DH run together.

OK gotta eat and then get out with the kids. BBL.

Roxie - Please don't give up on yourself. It takes time and commitment to get to goal weights. Let me ask you this, have you ever looked into Weight Watchers? You might want to check it out. It helped me a lot to learn how to eat, what to eat, how much to eat, etc. And it kind of takes the stress of counting calories and such out of the equation. You may find it as easy to follow as I did and I had great success with it.

You are seeing results. You will see more. You just have to keep going. I know it's frustrating. Right now I'm batteling with 5 extra pounds I need to get rid of. It won't go away for anything and it's really getting me down. But I refuse to give in. I keep fighting the good fight and you should too. Please keep your motivation going. Don't let pictures get you down. I don't think there is one picture I've seen of myself that I've liked. Ever. We are all hard on our own bodies and images. Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get in there and do a kick ass workout today!!! Ok?

Here are my meals for today:

Brkfst-fiber one caramel bar
Am Snack-yoplait light strawberry shortcake and a banana
Lunch-ham and turkey roll up, macaroni salad lowfat, tomatoes and grapes
Pm snack-kraft 2% cheese stick and necterine
Supper-to be determined
Possibly a Syntha 6 protein shake after workout.

Thanks Debbie and yes I thought about this morning, but I keep thinking that when people see me they will say what does she need wt watchers for I weighed in this morning at 127lbs and that is not comfortable to me. My dr left town so tomarrow I am going to see a new one and she works with the wt loss clinic attached to the hopital so I am hoping she can help me out.

Thank You Patti for the encouragement.

Patti - I am doing C/B from 4DS. I started Debbie's Dec. 08 rotation (started with shoulders rather than back and chest). My DH is who got me running outside. So much nicer than the treadmill. He's a foot taller than me so I know he has to feel more like he's walking fast rather than running! LOL But he sticks with me. Probably makes me run faster too actually. I did my first 5K last year with a time of 26:14. Since then I've done 3 more and the last one (which is the same race I began with) I ran it in 24:18. Pretty big improvement in a single year for a non-runner!

Oh, and I do that all the time - start out doing a DVD thinking "I'll just do the first 5 intervals." Then I'm like "why stop now..." Good job!

How tall are you, Roxie??? I'm 5'5" and at 133# right now. My ideal weight is usually around 128-130#. It's very frustrating that I can't get there. I know what I'm doing wrong, though. It's fixing the problem that is hard right now.

5ft-5'1 depending on who measures me. I would like to be between 115-120lbs
