Crazy, Strong and Loving it for January 2014!!

Hi girls!;)

I just finished today's workout. I'm not feeling well post injection flu-like symptoms, not fun. I got the workouts in barely just dragging myself along or rather stumbling along. Anyways, I'll check in now.

Here's today's workout due to ickyness I didn't go as hard as I usually do so a much shorter workout :

Daily Hiit - Catching Fire 30day Challenge Day2 = 30 Min(15 Min approx. 2X through.
MV= 11.0
CB= 451

Z Ropes- Beginner/with warm up+ Workout + Cool Down Stretch= 21 Min
MV= 10.0
CB= 287

Total calories burned= 738;)

Did anyone else have trouble with the workout manager in using their workout calendars?

Belinda- Nice job yesterday with walking the dogs and P90X Yoga:D I see today you plan on doing P90X CVX, sounds great! Keep up the great job on your workouts, WTG!!!:D

Debbie- Nicely done today with Cardio Coach Volume 1 today. Glad to hear your knees are feeling better and handling the workouts. Just be safe and listen to your body like you always tell us. Take care girlfriend and well done today! Now sleep in and rest tomorrow etc...

Today I did P90X3 The Challenge, walked the dogs for 40 min and did 10 stretching.

Roxie - I also need to get better working my abs. Next week:D Nice job with your workout this morning.

Hey. I was MIA once again, this time because 1/2 of my family , plus myself, came down with the flu last week into this week. It's been a shitty week! ... Hubby went first, then my 14 year old son, and then I got it. Even though I had the flu shot. I was not happy.

Been feeling really crappy right up until yesterday. No workouts in a week. today I actually felt GOOD this morning.

I was really missing my workouts, so I did KCM Total Body Kickboxing premix. A mix of the 2 workouts. 1st part of 1, followed by 1st part of the 2nd. It was about 30 minutes. I also did STS Extended stretch.

Hope you all are healthy and working hard!! Hope to pick up with my rotation on Monday!

Chris- Wow!! I'm so happy you are feeling better. It sounds like the others are on the mend as well I hope. It sounds like you had a good workout with KCM Total body kickbox and the premix you did of it. I bet it felt good to be well enough to workout and enjoy a good workout sweat. Welcome back girlfriend and high fives on your workout today that is especially a big deal after being sick. Please take care and be well. ((Hugs))

I was very active today:p This morning I did 50 min Strength Training (circuit style) than I did 10 min yoga and 10 min abs:) In the afternoon I walked the dogs for 40 min and did P90X3 CVX:eek: Don't ask me….I had a lot of energy today. I guess:p Now I am ready to take a nap:D


Nora - what results are you seeing with your workouts? Amazing job, girl!

I didn't sleep very well so I couldn't get up to workout and it was my late day at work so no workout for me.

Nora-good job with your workout.

Belinda-nice job you did have alot of energy. I did do some ab work after the bosses left today.

Chris-glad to hear you are on the mend, I think I am going to do KCM next month because they are shorter workouts.

I really am having fun with Daily HiiT and the Catching Fire 30 Day Challenge I signed up for and doing. Its very true to HiiT style so far and its total body and uses body weight and a sandbag thus far. This is a challenging way to workout but that's not a stranger to us Cathletes, is it? No. Its fun and I like to mix things up to keep it fun and fresh. I have noticed that I am really feeling it abs, arms, legs, and even upper back. Nothing bad mind you just DOMS.

Roxie- Nice workout today girlfriend, WTG with LLA TS#3 and then run/walk intervals on the TM for 30 minutes. That is an awesome workout great job, now go have a fantastic weekend!;):)

Belinda- Your workout plans for today are fab with P90X3 The Warrior and 10 min yoga. It sounds like a fun workout for you. Sorry, its all snowy outside and you can't take the furry kids for a walk, but I'm sure they'll enjoy being nice and warm inside too. Take care and keep warm!;):)

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend! I'm off today for Martin Luther King day. Yay! :eek:

I decided to do an hour of running today. My knees are still bugging me, but I really wanted to get in a good workout. It's been a while. I chose Run Fit and did it all and had a great workout. Knees are bugging me. After I did that I did the stretch from Yoga Focus. I think that was a good decision and I figured since I had the time, may as well.

My workout was 52 minutes and I ran 3.25 miles. I figure I burned roughly 488 calories.

Debbie- Nice workout today with RunFit today and Yoga Focus.:D Sorry, to hear that your knees are still bugging you. Have you thought about ace bandage pre cut for knees that can help to stabilize the knee. I've used those before and it did help while exercising and did seem to not hurt so much after a workout after removing the knee braces. You might give that a try.;) Please take it easy and rest. Healing thoughts and hugs for your knees.

Belinda- WTG on starting week 4 of P90X3!! Great workout you have planned for today with M2 Disc 13 and P90X3 week 4. You go girlfriend and keep up the great workouts!;)

Today is P90X3 Dynamix. If I feel up to it, I will do STS D14 legs too? My ENT appointment is tomorrow.

Today I did upper body on my own again. Had a great workout. No weight increases but I changed exercises around a bit.

3 sets of everything. 10 reps each set.

Flat Bench Press - 50#
Flat Dumbbell Flyes - 15's
One Arm Row - 20#

Barbell Rows - 42#
Overhead Press - 10's
Dumbbell Upright Rows - 15's

Barbell Curls - 22#
Hammer Curls - 15's
Overhead Extensions - 20#

Alternate Dumbbell Curls w/Sweep - 12's
Close Grip Barbell Press - 42#
Lying Tricep Extensions - 10's

Wanted to do ab work but ran out of time. Dang. I was doing good with the ab work. I'll have to work it in sometime this week.
