Hi girls!
Debbie, I'm glad to hear that your feeling so much better. That's so awesome!! I know that back pain totally sucks, years ago I sprained my lower back, so not fun. I can sympathsize with you. Definitely take the weekend off and rest up.
My right side of my body is very effected by my MS, and the part of the brain that controls balance also suffered lesions making my balance sometimes questionable doing things (especially when fatigued), other times its not noticeable to others. I can always tell but one of the things doctors have told me is to stay active with my workouts keep doing them and add yoga, weights, or even tai chi to the mix. Yoga is great for balance and gentle on joints, weights strengthens arms and legs and just overall strenght. All great stuff for people with MS because Strenth, Balance, and mobility are a constant issues for people like me. I'm not as bad off as many others that have MS since there are more progressive forms of MS. I don't mention this to gain sympathy, not at all. Its just something I have to work around and not give into. I only mention this to let other know that yoga and weights and cardio are very important to your health both mental and physical. Those of us with physical challenges can't phone in workouts, its vital to do them wether is an issue of arthritis or other things. There is more to fitness than trying valiantly to look like a model, I'm still working on that one, LOL!!! So girls, I'm just saying its good if you move it, and keep moving it!!
Keep up the always awesome job or working out, its a gift you can give yourself that reaps many benefits.
Here's today's workout:
Cardio Fusion premix #1 All Step Cardio (48 min) add 30 push ups and 200 sit ups/crunches= 48 Min plus time for cruches and pushups
Calories burned= 426
this was fun but my knees and wrists were hurting a little.
P90 YogaX= Length its entirety=92 Minutes
completed= 34 Min
Calories burned= 139
I completed 34 minutes before my wrists were hurting me too much and my balance was wavering to much to be safe. So, I called it a day on this one. It was good, what I did complete of it was a little boring compared to other Yoga DVD's I have. To be fair though those are with Rodney Yee, Sara Ivanhoe, Baron Baptiste,and Brian Kest. Those people I mentioned are yoga instructors solely so maybe its not fair to compare Tony to them. After the yoga X part I did complete with Tony I did feel more stretched out and loose, so that's all good.
Ok, sorry to go in the above statement. Just wanted to share that everyone can workout within their own limitations whatever they maybe, as Cathe says modify where needed.
I wish you all a great Friday evening and see ya all at tomorrow's check in.
Hugs!
Nora
