Today I will do a full body workout!;)

I ended up doing Leaner legs & Body Max (original) Upper body muscle conditioning! Had a great workout.

I took another day off and now it's getting ridiculous. I have no pain when I sit, stand or lay down, but I can't straighten up when I stand up. Well, I can but that's when it hurts. It hurts to lay on my back, too. I don't get it. The pain isn't getting worse, but it's not getting better either. Now I'm not sure what I'll do. Next week is my recovery week and even though it seems this week turned out to be my recovery week, I may just take the next few days off and start my recovery week on Monday doing the workouts P90X has laid out. I'm so frustrated right now, this was a real stupid thing to cause me back pain like this. Geez.

Anyways, slept in again. At least that feels good!
 
Hi ladies. DH and I went to spin again yesterday evening. It was a different instructor and HOLY COW did that make a difference. My calorie burn was 565! Instructors apparently make a HUGE difference. There were no long recovery/rest periods at all. It was all go! That's what I like.

I was worried my legs would be absolutely useless today, but they actually feel pretty good. Not sure if I'll go ahead and do a rest day or do a DVD and take tomorrow off.

Belinda - no need to say good job - you always do a good job!!!

Debbie - I hate to hear that about your back. I tweaked my back about two years ago totally random thing. No clue what caused it or how it even finally went away. At least you're catching up on sleep!
 
Good Morning,

Tonite I will do the Slo-Robics I had planned for last night. Didn't sleep well went into coughing fits in the middle of the night. I wish this stupid cold would go away, DH won't kiss me he is afraid of getting it.

Debbie-hope your back gets better soon.

Good Morning!

Went out to the bus stop this morning, it's like summer! It was warmer outside (60!!) than it was in my garage! Crazy!!! How I'd love to run again, but I don't want to get an injury 3 days in a row , since I haven't ran for about a month!

OH! But I have something just as exciting!! I got my 2 KCM 30 Minute workouts yesterday!!!!! After I got back from my run, I found them in the mailbox.

So I think I will head down (NOW!) and do one from the Cardio Blast. Not sure which. I wonder if the step is complicated?

Belinda: COOL combination of workouts today!! Bravo!!

Debbie: Hope your back is better soon! I think you're wise in resting. As frustrating as it is. I know we all "get" how crappy you feel when you can't work out!

Roxie: I had that coughing thing (sinus) for a while too. Hope you have a good workout today!

Heather: YAY for a better spin class! Sounds fun!

Hi all! Haven't had much time for personals this week. Just wanted to say sorry about that! I have been reading what everyone is doing, though. Thanks about my back. I sure hope this goes away soon.

Waiting for my 2 younger boys to come home so we can decorate the tree (it's up!)

I did do KCM's Athletic Step. I liked her, I liked it, but it was easier than I expected. Kind of moderate intensity. I was expecting more. I almost did a premix w/ the Plyo, but I thought I should get the basics down first. I wish I did the premix! I did do the stretch band stretch segment of SM afterwards. My hips are really tight from the last 2 days of running.

Heather: Did you take a rest day or that's still yet to be determined?
 
Thanks for the update! My hips always get really tight if I haven't run in a while then take off like I have been. My plan is to do Hardcore Extreme hi/low premix (may leave off the kickmax drills) plus abs. I set up everything during lunch so that way it'll be harder to justify backing out!

I have a TON of errands to run, so my thinking was that I could get my workout done today, then tomorrow leave work early and try to get as many errands run as possible (without having to think about when to get in the workout).

Debbie, I'm sorry to hear about your back bothering you. I hope you feel better soon.

Once again I have to apologize that I have no time for personals. Tonight is Oregon's Civil War game which is on right now. They are big collage rivals and both fun to watch. I live between Corvallis, (OSU) and (U of O) which is in Eugene. So, needless to say its mandatory to watch the game on TV since its on right now. I like both teams, I say Go Beavs! Go Ducks!!! I hope its going to be a great game and fun to watch!


Here's today's workout: Grand total of calories burned from both workouts completed= 795!:eek: Not as big as yesterday but still good, for me.:)

Body Max 2- Double Upper Body Weights doing only 1X not Double and do the abs, and stretch= 37 Minutes
Calories burned= 303
nice workout. I'm glad I tried this premix, I like it!

P90X Shoulders and Arms= 60 Min Approx.
Calories burned= 492
I have to admit I don't care for the first DVD of P90X (the push up, pull up, and chin up one).
I did love yesterday's Plyo X, it rocks and this Shoulders and Arms workout was much better than the first DVD. Its still not as thorough as Cathe or Cathe's STS, but its a keeper so far. I'm glad I have it to shake things up a bit. Hubby hasn't had time yet to start P90X.

Chris, wow you having nice weather! Sent some my way! It’s freezing here! Glad you listen to your body, don’t push it! My workout was fun today, really enjoyed it. Is the tree decorated? Great job with KCM's Athletic Step yesterday. Keep stretching that hip.
