Crazy, Strong and Loving It for 2/28

Today was cardio. Woke up with a knot in my right shoulder blade this time. Not a bad one but it's there.

I chose Cardio Coach #2 revised and had a really good workout. I then used my foam roller to work out the knot. It feels really good right now. That foam roller is amazing.

I will do cardio today, not sure what yet. Woke up with a headache:confused: need to wait until the pain goes away. This weather is killing my sinus, ever day I wake up with headache??

Tonite for me is EB's Zen Sculpt, my body is really responding to these pilates workouts but there is alot of core and lower body work.

Belinda-I am not doing KCM right now its kind of a rest week before I tackle next months plans whatever those may be.

Debbie-I need to invest in one of those rollers, be careful with that shoulder and good job with your workout today.

I did get a workout in today. I've wanted HST for a while now and I did order it when I pre-ordered Cathe's new two workouts along with Total Body Stretching. Well, today I got to try HST out and wow that was fun and worked me really hard but in a doable good way. Yep, I was sweatastic earlier, but its cathe so you know to expect that. Don't ever discount Cathe's older workouts as not being effective, because you'd be wrong and miss out on gems like this one, definitely give the older workouts a try as well, after all variety is the spice of life.

Here's today's workout on my recover week:

High Step Training = 60 Min
Met Value= 7.0
Calories burned= 573

Yes, HST does have lots of leg presses. I dreaded those but they weren't even slightly bothersome at all. I know that for myself I have big muscle strength deficit on my right side and now have a lot of right glute and pirformis, and IT band pain so I'm guessing that is probably caused from that muscle imbalance due to nerve damage because of MS. So, strengthening the glutes, quadriceps will help to correct that imbalance to reduce pain. I also do the foam roller workout as well to help alleviate pain in those areas which is awesome, I highly recommend it. I'm hoping keeping these things on my mind when I'm working out will help to give me maximum benefit of reduced pain and increased muscle strength on my weakend right side.
