Crazy, Strong and Loving it for 10/1

Can't believe it's October. My favorite month but it's unbelievable that Thanksgiving and Christmas are just around the corner.

Today was cardio, abs and stretch. My lower body felt great today. I think this is the first day that my glutes and hamstrings haven't hurt me in a long time. Wonder what's up with that? I heard family stress can cause lower body pain and maybe some of it was due to the fact that I've been so worried about my mom and this surgery. Now she's in the homestretch and I can breath. Possible I suppose. Whatever the reason, I feel great today.

For cardio I chose Cardio Coach #8 but only did Challenge #2 which is the 2 - 8 minute treks. Love this one. Did well with it, too. Then I stayed on my treadmill until I hit 3 miles.

Then for abs I chose Kick, Punch & Crunch Ab Work. Love this one! Love the pykes on the stability ball.

For the stretch I just did the one for KP&C.

CARDIO HR STATS:
35 minutes total
3 minutes total
13 minutes in zone
20 minutes above zone
3 miles travelled
(kind of wondering if that should be 2 miles, now I don't remember)
280 calories burned

Good Morning,

Even though my body is enjoying this rest week my mind is not I feel like I should be doing something. I am really going to try and do some yoga tonite to help me relax alittle. My DD got her blood work results yesterday and now they want her to see a hemotologist for some elevated levels and she is telling everyone in the family she has a rare blood disease so I have spent time on the phone correcting them.

Debbie-good job on those abs girl. Great workout glad to hear your lower body is getting better stress is an amazing thing.

I got up this morning and did a premix from SB. That'll be it for me today. Now if I can just get through one more crazy day of work... Tomorrow I am off so I can workout at my leisure. Not sure what I'm going to do just yet. Still trying to find some sort of weight rotation to do.

Debbie - isn't it a great feeling when you just have one of those really "ON" kind of days! It is soooo hard to even think about Christmas, but it really is just around the corner. It always seems to sneak up.

Hi everyone!

I have to work the next couple of evenings, and I'm not sure if today will be a rest day or not. I had a great workout yesterday. I did the original BC, then I wanted more weight work, so I did the weight only add-on of SJP, then I rode the bike for 15 minutes. Something like 98 min/ 639 calories. Whew! So even though I'm amped again this morning, I might ought to give my body a rest.
Heather, Cathe's Oct rotation looks great! Only problem for me, I don't have STS! I haven't followed a particular rotation for a couple of months. It has worked out fine, but I always feel a little lost when I go upstairs. And I hate wasting time just staring at my dvds trying to figure out which I want to do. I've been trying to do bits and pieces of lots of different ones. Good luck with whatever you decide.
Debbie, glad your lower body isn't giving you trouble today. Doesn't that just feel great?! It's amazing how lack of pain can totally brighten your day. I don't know how people suffering from chronic pain do it...?!? Good for your mom getting better!
Yep, fall is in the air and the holidays are coming! (And my birthday - so SURELY I'll get STS, right?!?! Or somebody is going DOWN!!!)
Hello to Roxie - enjoy your time talking to all your family members! Have a great day.
Hi to all!

Wendy - You know, before STS, I never really followed a rotation or plan. I just did whatever, whenever. Now I feel like I can't function without some sort of solid weight plan at least. I wing the cardio, but weights...need a rotation. I agree, the Oct. rotation looks good. Not sure if I'm ready for STS again (though I know this isn't quite the full deal).

All righty, I went ahead and worked out. I had a bowl of "crockpot porridge" that I'd made from the Eat Clean cookbook. And I just was feeling like that was a lot of carbs for a rest day already. So I went up and did Imax2. Loved it! Had an awesome workout. 54min/417cal. Now I just have to remember to take my Glucosamine!
I'm off to work soon, so have a great day all!

Hey Everyone!

After eating "off" at the fair yesterday (which we had THE best time at, despite the coldness!), I did IMAX 2 (Hi-5's, Wendy!!!) and then did Med Ball Abs (without partner only). I think that is my favorite ab circuit! I would have done the partner piece if someone was here with me..LOL!

Debbie: Good cardio day! Nice that your lower body is feeling better. Interesting about stress and lower body soreness. .....

Roxie: It is hard to make ourselves rest , isn't it? Hope your daughter is ok too!

Heather: Good job on squeezing in a cardio today. Hope your week gets better, it sounds hectic!

Wendy: Good job on BC workout yesterday! You have ENERGY, don't you?? Crockpot porridge? That sounds good!!! The Oct rotation totally turns me off. I just don't think I could do 3 days of weight work in a row like that.

Nora: Hey!! I just know you're kicking it today.

Off to put laundry away..fun fun!!!!
