Hi everyone. I am new here as well as to Cathe Fitness.

I have a few questions.

I managed to trade for Meso 2 and Meso 3 in Cathe's STS program. I can't afford to right out buy meso 1 right now. I am hoping to temp trade/trade for it, but it hasn't happened yet.

My question is, can i do a rotation of Cathe's Gym style series in place of Meso 1? I have the series but i haven't done it yet. If i can, what rotation would you use for the GS series to prepare me for Meso 2.

I can't wait to get started and I plan on doing the 1RM test this weekend.

Hi Rania:

I don't see why not. Your suggestion of using GS as sub for Meso 1 makes sense to me. Make sure you do all the bonus burns and extra band work to give your muscles the full endurance effect. The good thing about GS legs is that it has s standing portion and floor section with exercises similar to those included on the bonus leg work disc for meso 1, so you'll be on the right track. Do it sensibly, each workout once per week, good nutrition, lots of rest, adequate cardio but not excessive and you should do fine.

BC/ME do not have the full complement of exercises for each muscle group that GS has and that will be on STS. I would stick to the GS but include 1 ME per week if you want.

Rania~Since Meso 1 is endurance, I would not use the Gym Styles. I think CTX, Muscle Endurance, Leaner Legs, Power Hour, Legs & Glutes, Supersets & Push Pull would better fit the bill.

Someone a while ago on another forum posted a "mock" STS rotation. Let me see if I can find it.
