Could I be a morning exerciser?

I've been trying to mentally prepare myself to be a morning exerciser - I mean, a get-up and do-it at 6:00 a.m. person and today, I finally did it, with BodyMax no less (OK, I didn't do the upper-body part and I started at 6:30). I know there's been a lot of talk on the boards about how to become a morning exerciser and I used some of the advice: prepared coffee the night before so all I had to do was press the button on the machine, slept in my workout bra, and planned which tape to do. It helped that my son woke at 5:45, but instead of lounging in bed all morning, I brought him out to snuggle on the couch until the caffeine soaked in. By the way, I didn't eat anything beforehand. I feel so excited and proud to have accomplished this feat. I really hope I can stick with it.

I took the plunge and switched over a few months ago and I love the free time in the evenings. Plus hubby goes to work before me so I get up when he does and then we have more time together at night.

I did the same tricks you did to get myself up and motivated and it's pretty much routine for me now.

Hi,

COngratlations.
I am currently yting to get back into the swing of things in the AM.
It used to help that my husband left for work before me, but he was injured 8 weeks ago and has been home ever since!! He starts back to work tomorrow, so i am hoping that getsus both back on track.
It has been nice having him around--we have been having actual dinners, etc.
but I have almost completely slacked off exercise-wise, maybe averaging 2-3 sessions per week. It's terible.
Anyway, it does help to have assistance in the morning. And it;s nice to have the time in the PM. I absolutely hate working out after work. I try to use that as motivation.

Hi You! Sorry to hear about your husband. Is he better or are they just making him go back to work? I hope he's all healed.

I feel so virtuous after working out first thing in the morning. Maybe we can motivate each other? I do hope I can keep it going!
