I just saw a plank variation in one of the recent fitness magazines. A women's professional soccer player was demoing what she did for her core. You start in supine position, then bring yourself up to plank supported by your forearms (kind of like the "reverse planks" you do in Slow and Heavy, but not with a straight arm). Hold, then turn to the side and place forearm perpendicular to the body for a side plank. Hold, then do a front plank on forearms. Hold (again!) then finish with a side plank on the other side. Seems like a nice way to hit the entire core area in one fell swoop!
