Core rotation/best core work?

Folks:

Which workouts do you find give the most intensive and effective core work? I am looking for overall strength and (somedaaaaaaay, over the rainbow) definition...

What workouts do you do for your core, how often do you do them, etc...?

I saw the best results with Core Foundations from TracieLong Productions. The stability ball is used the most. I was only able to do it 3x a week b/c my core really needed rest time!
