***Coolers, That's Thursday For You***

Morning,
Today was about 30 minutes of KPC, then switched to about 15 minutes of Christi Taylor's Totally Cool Step. Tonite is a golf lesson. Had a record speed bike ride last night. Good one! Had my physical yesterday. All was well. Doctor says I'm probably not even in perimenopause if my periods are still so regular. Could be a while still before menopause. Still have my blood tests, mamo, and bone density test to do.

Patricia, good for you for getting thru PlyoX. You're a much better woman than I am. They got me right into the dr. appointment yesterday. Didn't have to wait long at all. Sorry about the pain in your arm. Yep, I'll keep with the knee pushups if it I get any discomfort. Even while doing STS. I'm no hero.

Laurie, looking forward to the pictures of your haircut. Even DH commented that it must be getting near time for my touchup. Guess he noticed the gray showing.

Debra, sorry about the lack of motivation. Yep, happens to all of us. Guess I'm waiting for the big STS and then I'll get it in gear for that. For now, I'm conserving my strength. STS will definitely be a big "shock" then.

Wendy, hope you are kicking that cold out. Or did you go to the doctor for it? How is the adjustment feeling? Hope you aren't in any pain.

Good Morning Ladies,

Yesterday afternoon, I made it through X+ Upper and five minutes of abs. I didn't push myself. I did breathe hard and break a sweat.:p I have some slight DOMS today. I haven't decided if I'll do some cardio. I'm going to wait to see if this congestion works its way out of me. I should make an appointment at the doctors today too.

Jeanette... I thought you were finished with golf lessons until Spring? So, what are you saying? You could have another baby!?!?!?!:D:eek::D:eek::D:eek::D

Okay, I best call the doctor. Coughing up mucous is getting old!!!

Chat more later.
Wendy

Morning Coolers,

Todays workout was the first hour of YogaX, and will hopefully get the last 1/2 hour done tonight!

Jeanette, Good to hear that you are good with the physical. I still have to get the blood test done, I'm not big on getting my blood drawn. I was suprised that the guy taking my test for thyroid never put the rubber turnicit on my arm. He just took my arm and stuck the needle in. I didn't have a bruise either. I want him again when I go in for the cholesterol test! ;)

Wendy, LOL! I'm going to wait and see what Jeanette says about that baby! LOL! :D I know what I would say about that after spending the evening with my sister, and her two little ones. I'm quite happy with my 15 & 11 year olds, even though they can make me nuts at times!

Debra, Had to LOL about the election taking 2 year, I think it has been more like 4 years. :D Hope you get that motivation bug! LOL ;)

Have a great day!

Laurie

Quiet night. I got in to see the doctor this evening. I have a sinus bacterial infection, bronchitis, and an itty bitty bout of ringworm on my knee:eek:... no doubt from a dirty yoga mat. No workout or operating machinery for me tonight!:D

Laurie... I was walking through the baby isle at the pharmacy and thought of Jeanette.:D:D:D It's nice not having to use a good portion of our income on baby paraphernalia.:D You sound all ready for the wedding with a new do and do me shoes.:D;) Have you found any other accessories to match your outfit yet?

Jeanette... I need to color my hair this weekend. The grays are starting to show too. It's nice to be able to touch up the roots at home instead of spending a couple of hours and a hundred bucks at the salon. How was golf lessons?

Kim... Have you heard anything about the interview yet? I have to write a resume, cover letter and design a business card this quarter. Dang, this means I might actually have to work!:D:eek::D My back is feeling better since my last appointment. It was never a searing painful type of pain. More like an annoying deep pressure. Hopefully, working my abs will resolve the sacrum congestion and lower back pain.

Okay ladies, I'll chat with you all in the morning.
Sweet Dreams!
Wendy

No workout for me today, just feeling tired. Busy week at work and lots to do in the evenings. I'm working tomorrow as we're really busy. The wall climbing was fun yesterday but my forearms are really feeling it today! It was harder than I thought but I did make it to the top of 2 of the easier walls. The girls (dd and her friend) did really well!!

Short post, sorry I'm tired, going to head to bed early.

Oh, one quick question, has anyone done a 4DS rotation for a few weeks and if you did what was your result?? Kim

Kim, I think Tracy did a 4DS rotation. You may want to PM her and ask. I think she had really good strength gains from it. Her user id name is HavinFun or HavingFun... something along those lines. Oh, I have to read yesterday's posts again. You went wall climbing. Cool.

Wendy

Hi ladies,
Busy day at work today, as usual. Had a great golf lesson after work. We're working on a power swing so that I'll be able to launch it. Big shoulder turn to lead it off. My instructor is really confident that I'll "get it" soon. Anyway, I'll be practicing my new stuff for a couple weeks, then the next lesson will be 9 holes of golf (2 hour lesson) with my instructor. That should be awesome. His teaching just clicks with me.

Kim, I did a 4DS rotation a while back, modifying the cardio when I wanted to. Had good results, really did. Way to go on the wall climbing. I've never tried it, but it seems like it could be very challenging. Bet you did well.

Wendy, glad you got in to the doctor and they figured out what nastiness you had. Hope it's all history soon. No, no, no, no on a baby for me. Bite your tongue, woman . Doesn't seem like I can blame anything on perimenopause , which I think is pretty handy to do. He did say that I may be one of those women who breezes thru it, with few, if any side effects. Golf lesson was great tonite. So much to think about. I'm going to keep with the lessons as long as the weather allows. Even when I used to ride horses, I rode dressage, which is a sport where you have to be thinking all the time. Very technical. Kind of nice having 2 activities that I pursue, the biking which is pretty much a no-brainer, and the golf, which I have to somewhat think about. Is Phil still in the hair color touch up business? Or does he make himself scarce when you get the hair dye out?

Laurie, I'm the world's worst for giving blood. Once they finally hit a vein, and the blood flows, then trickles, then stops. I dread going. Maybe I need to just psych myself up for it. So how was the outcome of your thyroid test? I'm having a full thyroid test done too.

Good night ladies,
