Just starting us off. Today is the Canadian federal election, thank goodness, I've had enough of the commercials, and stuff. Our local newspaper went on strike  sure was an issue for me this morning. I love to read the paper and drink my coffee at 6 am to wake up. I didn't know what to do with myself this morning, flipped the channels but not the same thing. Sorry I never got back for personals yesterday.

Jeanette Glad you got a long weekend, hope you enjoyed the Monday off. Your Thanksgiving will be hear soon enough! It is a nice family holiday

Laurie Yucky on the bug project. :D Love the shoes. Who's funeral are you singing at??

Wendy How are you feeling?? How's the back??

Waving to Debra and Patricia!!

Got to run to work, plan to do PUB after work, I might have a meeting this evening about the kid's daycare as their is drama brewing.

Morning,
I'm up and at 'em earlier this morning as I have a big day at work and want to get an early start on it, plus I'm playing golf tonite and we need more daylight so that'll work out great getting off an hour early. This morning was 45 minutes of step from SJP/Step Blast, then did the abs from Butts and Guts (non-stability ball). I'm feeling my quads this morning from woodcutting on Sunday. We were a bit on a hill so I had to go up and down the hill.

Kim, bummer not having your newspaper this morning. I'll be glad when our election is over with too. Hope the drama isn't too terrible at the daycare center.

Where is Patricia? Did she go on vacation and I missed it?

Morning Coolers,

No workout for me yet, and I don't know if I will get the chance. Had to go in for a mamogram this morning. OUCH! There was only one angle that hurt bad. ;) After work I have a hair appointment, so that pushes PlyoX workout to later tonight. Will see how it goes.

Kim, I can't wait for our elections to be over with too. How long do they predict the local paper to be on strike? Isn't it funny how we get into routines. :D Our local paper is probably going to be going under, because the readership has gone down so bad. If they produced a better product, then I would think about getting the dang thing again. I used to enjoy reading it. The funeral is for a member of our church. He used to sing in the choir, and I think we are singing two to three songs.

Jeanette, Way to work those quad muscles! I have not posted a pic of the dress yet, I keep forgetting to look at the designer of the thing to see if they have an on-line pic. LOL about the earwig, we got one of those too. :) Yuck on the scorpion!

Wendy, I liked those multicolored shoes too, but they didn't have those at Boston Store when I went looking. ;) If these shoes are still as comfy after a whole night with them on I just may have to get those too. ;) Give me something easy to sing when we get together OK!

Have a great day!

Laurie

Hey guys, how are things. I've not been in the mood to chat lately so I've been a bit MIA. Just really busy at work so its been a bit difficult to find some free time to keep up. Last week was my recovery week from the X. Tried Core Synergistics and wasn't in the mood so lasted about 10min of that but popped in a Cathe step tape instead! I've missed step so also did it on another night too! My shoulder/arm is really bothering me so trying to take it easy on the push-ups which is hard to do on the X:D
We had 17 adults to dinner at the cottage on Sat for TK. We had a beautiful weekend there - low 20's so everyone just sat outside and the kids ran around and went for a boat ride along with having a small bonfire going all afternoon. Couldn't have asked for a better weekend, especially in Oct.

Kim - thanks for the reminder to vote tonight. I sent out an email this morning to my co-workers to remind them too. I had to double check the news this a.m. to make sure I had the right day. It all just seems soooo quiet compared to the U.S.

Laurie - I guess we will be doing PlyoX tonight together. I like that one.

Jeanette - I might put SJP on my wish list as I've heard such good things about that DVD.

Hi to everyone else that follows.

Laurie... You'll do anything to get out of Plyo!!!;) The mammogram didn't sound pleasant. Glad you went ahead with it. Did you see the thread on OD about hair costs? Tell me how the shoes wear all night long. I can't remember the last time I wore heels other than my 4" high flip flops. Does that count? What? I have to pick out a song for you to sing? How are you with show tunes?:D:D:D

Jeanette... Try doing B&G abs using one of those stability balls with sand in it. UGH! The next time I go to State College, I'm deflating that thing and taking it back to Walmart! Your weekend sounded great. So great, that I'm going to make two pans of lasagna for Friday night's dinner at school. Every Friday, we take turns making dinner. Someone will bring in the salad, bread and dessert. I want to go to your Fall Day!!!! It sounds yummy!!!!

Kim... Welcome back. Too bad you didn't have nicer weather at the lake. At least you had family and good food to keep you company.:) The elections can't come soon enough here. It'll be nice when all is said and done. Hopefully, there won't be any problems with the votes like in years past. Although with the Acorn scandal, I'm not holding my breath.

Well ladies, I have an appointment in the morning with the chiropractor. I still have a deep pressure in my back. This cold is going away slowly. But, poor Phil came down with it today. I'm going to do KPC's stability ball abs tonight. I plan on doing a halfsies X mixed with X+ rotation with Laurie and Traci once this cold dissipates.

Sweet Dreams,
Wendy

Evening, ladies,
Had a good day at work, then played golf with a couple girlfriends. Did okay. I have a golf lesson on Thursday. Have to think about what I want/need to work on. Tomorrow is my physical. You know, pap, etc. Lovely.

Wendy, I'd love to have you with us while celebrating Fall! The whole family seems to enjoy that little party. Of course, anything with food involved, everyone loves. What can we say? I hadn't had lasagne in ages and it tasted so darned good. Hoping that the chiropractor can do some good for your back. What did you do to injure it? Don't recall you saying.

Patricia, glad you could drop in. Have you watched a clip of SJP/Step Blast? It's such a versatile and fun DVD. I swear it's probably my favorite. Your Thanksgiving holiday sounded absolutely wonderful. You must mean low 20 degree C as trust me, low 20's F no one I know would be sitting outside enjoying the day. What did you do to your arm/shoulder? I am so paranoid about injuring myself that I don't push hard enough I'm sure. I've been doing all my pushups, pretty near, on my knees. And I don't care...

Laurie, ouchy, ouchy on the mammogram. I have one of those coming up soon. Need to check the calendar for when that is. How was the hair appointment? I get a full weave next Thursday. I like to sing too. When we get together again, singing will be a must! Even with Wendy! :p Of course, we may have to hit the wine first.

Debra, are you okay? Are you still feeling so fatigued? I'm worried about you...

Going to go to bed soon,
