Convince me why I should purchase....

Vol 2 of the Intensity series which has Bootcamp & muscle endurance please.

I'm ready to order the presale on all 4 body blast dvd's, I already have Vol 1 & 3 of the IS dvd's. Honestly tell me why I should get this one and how it compares to cathe's other workouts. Please.

I think that bootcamp is a solid workout, but it is my least favorite from the series :). The cardio feels even harder than from IMAX 1 and 2 in this too, but again that is just how I feel

I really enjoy ME though. It is a really good total body workout that made my husband whine ahahahahaha. Seriously, it is tough, and a nice one to do in place of power hour (I think me is harder, but lots of ppl think power hour is, sooo....)

If you can, I would definately get this DVD, good fun (ME).

Just for giggles, I'm going to argue that you not get it. I have found Boot Camp to be rather useless. It's not really cardio, due to the very short bursts and long breaks in between, it's not really a leg workout, it's not really tough upperbody. The abs are very good. I have used it a bunch while riding my stationary bicycle. It is superb for that. I do intervals during the cardios, leg drills during the legs and ride steady during the upper body and abs. The time flies, but as a regular workout, not too useful.

Muscle Endurance is a lot like PowerHour. I'm with the majority in that I think PowerHour is maybe 20% harder, with two exceptions. The biceps and abs work are really tougher in ME. In fact, I think the abs in ME are the toughest she's ever made.

But if you have Powerhour and the abs from PUB already and you don't have money to burn, you could live without this and just buy the BodyBlast.

I use ME and BootCamp but less than the other tapes and they are just not that "intense".

I LOVE Bootcamp and think it is a GREAT workout. My heartrate stays up and I go as heavy as I can on the weights. I enjoy BC because of the variety and it is just differnt from most other workouts. I also enjoy ME very much! I love the entire intensity series including BC and ME.
To each his own!:9

Thanks you all have helped me make a huge decision that I had been debating on quietly for a couple of weeks now.

I'll just preorder the body blast series and not get Vol 2 of the IS <<<FOR NOW THAT IS ;) >>>. I have about all of Cathe's workouts except for the Slow & Heavy,Pure Strength series & the step n motion step tape LOL.
I'll not stress over this anymore!

Once again thank you for all of your honest opinions, I'll save that $50.00 towards that mini step which I hope is available this year :)

I'm with gogigi. Boot Camp and Muscle Endurance are my favorite out of the Intensity Series. It seems like there's no in between with Boot Camp - people love it or hate it! I have to force myself not to do it too often. The abwork is fantastic. It really made a difference in my posture and my obliques.

Although ME is always being compared to PowerHour, I like it much more than Power Hour. Power Hour is a good, solid workout, but ME is much more fun - at least for me.

I'd say buy!

I am somewhere in the middle. I primarily use it for the cardio or for a day when I want to take it a bit easy and focus on core. I agree the cardio isn't enough to equal true cardio and the wts don't really get me that good. However, it is a good total body workout when I am feeling a little un-motivated. Once the music starts up and I see Cedie's and Cathe's smiling faces it always seems to wake me up in this one. I often due it on Friday mornings when I am beat from the week. I also love to do the cardio blast as an add-on to other workouts.

Sorry I couldn't be more help. Overall for you I would say don't buy it if it is a kick butt cardio + weight workout you are wanting.... but then after I wrote my comments I realize it can be a pretty versatile tape?? So, if it is versatility you are looking for try it. But I think the Terminator is even MORE versatile!

IMHO muscle endurance harder than power hour (not everything but in general) I also think it is more fun (fun?? did I say fun???) Now boot camp, to me, is a CORE workout. And very valuable for that reason. The DVD has great options so you can customize it a little more. **** BUT the best reason for you to order it when you order the Body Blast series is that you can order a Cathe Hat and have it sent NOW with your BC/ME dvd and NO extra shipping charge for the hat!!! -joy

Bootcamp is my absolute favorite! I love the intensity and variety. It is definitely intense, but it is fun, challenging, and it's over before you know it!

If you're getting the DVD's, Boot Camp is anything you want to make of it, especially with the myriad premixes Cathe's loaded onto it. My personal favorite way to do it is the Cardio-LowerBody premix after Power Circuit circuit segment; and to do the Cardio Only premix after MIC and 10-10-10 hi/lo segments. Again, the premixes make it really, really flexible.

Mogambo....I've got to ask...do you have VHS BC and ME. I have VHS and your description sums up exactly my feelings of these two tapes. BUT...I'd have to say that if I had DVD I'd probably find these workouts an asset. I'd love to pull out all of the core work on BC and parts of ME as well. If I could PLAY with these workouts...I'd probably enjoy them infinitely more than I currently do. Just another reason to get that DVD player!!

I have them in DVD. And I don't really regret buying them in the preorder, but they are not essential. ME is a nice change from PowerHour, but I think PH is harder, more useful. And Boot Camp is not that useful to me due to the way it doesn't really stick with anything very long. I sometimes use the Core Only premix added onto some cardio. But doing those circuits just doesn't do anything for me. I can work my legs better with a number of tapes, my upper body the same, and ditto for cardio. I know a lot of people love it, but I just like to watch it when I ride the bike.

I do ME a couple times a month. Sometimes I split upper and lower body on two days. The DVD is very helpful, but I like the Pyramids a lot more, the Terminators, IMax2. I don't like C and W either! It's only good on a day when I'm tired or droopy and can't face much exercise. It's definitely fun, but not much of a workout.

Muscle Endurance and Boot camp are my favorite so far! I love it. In fact, it was my first Cathe workout. Now I have Imax2 and Cardio and wts and Power Hour, MIS, Body Max - but I think ME and Bootcamp are so great. They are cardio workouts too, I sweat more on these 2 workouts than any of the others I have. Plus, I thought the workouts were really fun.

I LOVE ME. Bootcamp is very challenging and different from other Cathe workouts. The dvd's are phenomenal because of the pre-mixes. If you buy it, you will not regret it. The only regret that you will have is if you never try it!! :)

ME is a SUPER workout and I find it more fun than PH- although PH is a great workout too.
