Connective Tissue Shortening

I am losing flexibility due to my connective tissue shortening around my hips from lower body weightlifting. It came on quickly - about a month ago. Does anyone know how to reverse this? Should I go lighter on my lower body? Give it a rest a while (a week or even 2)? Supplements? Therapy?

I'm not sure this is related, and I am certainly not a doctor, but have you ever considered myofascial release? Could it possibly help?

Did someone diagnose this? Couldn't that same person give you some ideas for reversing it?

I'd try a chiropractor with an interest in sports medicine.
