You have been on my heart all week as I remember your devastating loss from this time last year. I just noticed your ticker in another thread, and I am so excited for you. Congratulations! I am keeping you and your precious little one in my thoughts and prayers for a healthy and happy pregnancy and delivery.

Dani - my prayers are with you! If it weren't for Heather's post, I would not have known. You seem like such a sweet person and deserve the best. Congrats!

Oh thanks so much everyone!! This means so much to me!! :D

I posted in the Pregnancy forums that I'm pregnant again. :)

Last year at this time I had a missed miscarriage. I had no cramping or bleeding, went in for my 8 week ultrasound appointment and there was no heartbeat. They told me I might just be too early and may be off on my dates, but I knew I wasn't. So, I went in a week later and again, no heartbeat. It was pretty devastating.

Now a year later almost to the day, I'm pregnant again and nervous the same thing is going to happen. This time I had my hcg and progesterone levels checked and the numbers came back excellent, my doctor told me. My hcg doubled in 48 hours and my progesterone was 43.4 at 4 weeks which is excellent. They like to see it at 20 at least and my number was way over that, so it gives me a little peace of mind.

So, now we wait until December 6th and we'll check for the heartbeat.

Anxiously waiting for that day! :)

Ironically, my due date of July 18, 2008 is one day away from my brother's birthday. He passed away in 2003.


Also, on my would have been due date of the last pregnancy I lost, I had an accute appendicitis. I would have been due on June 15, 2007. I woke up that morning with the worst stomach ache of my life that wouldn't go away. I went to the ER and I had to be rushed into surgery. So ironic, that if I were in labor I would have never known it was my appendix and it could have burst. How terrible would that have been? So strange how things happen.

You know I already said CONGRATS!! But I'll say it again! CONGRATULATIONS!!! Make sure you tell hubby too!

With the Hcg and progesterone levels....did you have that checked last time? I doubt it since you did not know anything was wrong, right? If those levels are good, does that mean only mean that the pregnancy is progressing or is it a good indicator of lack of chromosomal abnormality?

Sounds like you have many emotions swirling around. I can identify! I have had so many losses the last two years that this is my turn for some good things! You too! I am keeping everthing crossed for you!;-)

Hi! Thanks so much again. I never had my levels checked last time, so I had no idea. I never knew anything was wrong. If the levels are good, that does mean that the pregnancy is progressing and a good indicator. But, I've read there are never any guarantees against a miscarriage also. However, it is a good sign. :)

I'm keeping everything crossed for you too!!!! :) :) :)

I noticed your little ticker from another thread and said a prayer for you and your little one. I will continue to pray for you and the baby throughout your pregnancy. I'm glad your numbers look so good and look forward to hearing your good news December 6th.

Congrats, Dani! Fingers are crossed for you that all goes smoothly. Very strange about the timing of the dates. Hope you'll keep us posted.

Dani, I had no idea about your wonderful news. (I just posted to you in the Pregnancy Forum.) What a great time of year to give thanks for a miracle! Keep us posted and many prayers going up for you and your lil' one!
