Confused

I am getting ready to order STS (yeah!, finally!) so I entered an exercise in the 1RM list, and then went to see what it looked like on the workout card.

I entered in 10lbs for 12 reps and it said my 1RM is 16, average 15lbs.

On the workout card it lists 16 then in the column under % of 1RM...it says 60 - but I don't see where the 60% is calculated. Am I looking in the wrong place?

I hope this question makes sense!

The Workout Manager is telling you that the maximum weight you could lift one time for this particular exercise is 16 lbs. We only want you to use a weight that is 60% of your 1RM for the first week of exercises for STS. This means that the weight you should use is 16 lbs x .60 = 9.6 lbs (rounded off to 10 lbs).

You don't have to worry about the math since the Workout Manager will calculate everything for you. The weight you should use for every exercise will be shown on your workout card under the "Targeted weight" column.

Thank you!! I saw the target weight, but because it matched the weight I used to test my 1RM I thought that's what it was referring to :)
