computer/internet problem...help!

Hello all!

I hope someone can help me! Does anyone know how to stop getting underlined text in Explorer? The underlined text links to searches and it's really annoying! Is it a virus/worm? I must have inadvertently downloaded something. I've tried removing suspicious programs in Add/Remove, did a system restore, but it hasn't helped. Anyone else having this problem? Also, does anyone know how to stop popup ads?

In the TOOLS menu, select Internet Options, click on the Advanced tab, scroll down the Underline Text, click on the Never button.

As far as pop ups go, I installed a program called Spybot, Search and Destoy. It works great!

Hi there!

It's a different underlining than for links. It's a bold underline fot select words throughout. Very odd. I'm bummed.

Sounds like a spyware program on your computer, I had that happen and I couldn't get rid of it, with windowsXP you can do a restore to the day before or a few months before and after I did that it stopped doing that.
