Evening! Short walk today and tried some standing abs. My hip is really aggravating me, so I'll prob take a rest day tomorrow. Supposed to take gd trick-or-treating to give dil a bit of a break.

Deb, glad it's quiet at the place where you spending the celebration weekend. My dh's favorite dish is rouladen. Have you ever tried that?

Belinda, getting your nails done with your daughter sounds like a lovely day! Was it hard to put in the backsplash?

We came home this afternoon, did a quick hike in the morning. Each year we are getting less and less trick-or-treaters. This year was about 12 total. I'm wondering if they do different things, will ask one of my neighbors with young children.

Belinda - Happy birthday to your dd, I'm sure you are having fun.

Cookie - Trick-or-treating sounds like fun with you gd. What did she dress up as? My gs was a lion and he was roaring at the houses he went to LOL. A rest day will be good for your hip. I haven't tried rouladen.

Good morning,

i hope you all had a great Halloween yesterday. It was my DD’s birthday, we celebrated her birthday in DC. Went out for a nice lunch than went shopping in Georgetown. We had a lovely day. When DH and I came home we gave out candy. We had so a lot of fun. Today we met up with DD and her husband later today.

No workout to report except a lot of walking. Today I will do Pilates, I am hoping I will get in a live zoom class later today. If not, I will do one OnDemand.

Debbie - thank you. We did had a lot of fun yesterday. Great job on your hike. It was nice day yesterday. We had a lot of trick - or - treaters. I was afraid I run out of candy. We had kids from other towns come to trick -or -treat. I have a little bit of candy left, that will be DD’s road trip candy, lol.

Cookie - I ask my husband. He said it requires knowledge of basic carpentry tools. You also have to have the right tools to cut tiles. DD and SIL wanted to go that route to save $$. My husband and SIL are very handy. The tiles look beautiful. Once they done with the condo and move, I want my husband put in new tiles in my kitchen.

I am back. I did a Halloween- themed belly dance (I missed it on Friday) today. So fun. I also did Pilates with the foam roller for the shoulders.

I think I will follow Cathe’s November 26 rotations. I just have to move the work around so it will fit with my dancing.

Deb, hope your anniversary celebration was wonderful Our gd was a dinosaur. It ended up she didn't want to go to trick-or-treat, just go to the front door and then around to the back door and back again a few times at her own house! She loves dinos and roars a lot at home. Think lots of parents have their kids go to the trunk-or-treat events. We haven't had trick-or-treaters in the 10 years we've been here! My dh buys a couple of 5# bags of candy, and ends up eating it all!

Belinda, glad you had such a lovely time celebrating your dd's birthday. DH had offered to do our backsplash when we had this kitchen renovated, but we already had contractors working. I think a backsplash can make or break a kitchen's look. I can't do most of Cathe's wo any more, and it really bums me out.
