Commit to get Fit & Lean January 2016 - 2026

Hi,

today I did 2 hours dancing plus Lift Move & Restore Functional Yoga. I also did some Pilates stretching.
I have a very early eye doctor appointment. My eye is feeling a little better being on antibiotics. I just don’t get why this is happening.

Cookie - great job with your walk and LIS Turbo Barre workout. The weather was perfect for the park. Hope the little one enjoyed it. I am starting to think some of those reviews are fake.

Cookie - sorry about the PT and Dr. I was disappointed with PT too. I started doing the gentle Pilates. Worked out better for me. Good for you getting a second opinion. I love all the new things my belly dance teacher comes up with. She called it fusion belly dance, lol.

Good night.

'Evening! Got a referral for another dr, more testing, and equipment! Geez, it's almost like a part-time job! Talked about Pilates with a friend for a bit, so I'm counting it all as a workout.

Deb, going to the park yesterday must have been beautiful. How's the little guy doing? I know you asked Belinda, but I do think some of the reviews are fake. It so easy to create fiction these days.

Belinda, I read somewhere about eye drops being recalled for causing infections just the past couple of days. Hope you get a good report from your eye dr.

Hi,

Today was a walk outside. I went to get blood work done for my physical tomorrow. The results are already back, I'm not crazy with the results. DH said it's good I can discuss it with the Dr. tomorrow.

We all workout and care about our health, it's frustrating when things happen that are out of our control.

Belinda - Lots of dancing for you, you must look forward to it. It was good that you followed it with Lift, Move & Restore Functional yoga. Good luck tomorrow with your eye Dr. appointment.

Cookie - It counts as a workout:) The good thing is they have so many more test & equipment to find out what's going on. You are right going to appointments is a job.

Goodnight:)

Hi,

Today I had a follow up appointment with the ophthalmologists. She thinks the swelling stye in my eyes are caused by my immune depressant medication. I started a new immune depressant medication about 3 month ago. I was getting very nauseous on the meds, my joints are killing me. My kidney numbers are high . The ophthalmologist wants me to on a month long antibiotic starting in 2 weeks. I am already on antibiotics. I sent the report to my rheumatologist with pictures of my right eye. She doesn’t think as long as I am on those immune depressant medications I will get those skin lesions (stye) on my eyes.

I did LMR Lower body + Pilates hips/pelvic.

Debbie - sorry you are not happy with your blood results. I hope you had a chance to discuss it with your doctor. My blood works are never good. Good job on your walk. Thank you about my appointment today.

Cookie - lol, I mentioned the eye drops being on recalls it to my ophthalmologist. She said the once I use Refresh those are not on recalls. Unfortunately the results from the eye doctor isn’t great. Looks like I have to deal with my eyes or change my immune meds. If I happened to get another swelling in my eyes, the will do a biopsy to rule out cancer. She doesn’t think I have cancer, just to make sure. They are concerned with those so called styes I am getting. I couldn’t open my eye it was so swollen. Glad you got another referral. It’s a pain with testing, more equipments. It’s very time consuming. My eyes are a full time job with everything I have to do around the clock.

Good night.

'Evening! Just worked today and took a rest day.

Deb, sorry your test results aren't what you were looking for. Hopefully, the dr can provide some good answers and guidance tomorrow. It is so frustrating to work and care for our health and then it seems for naught!

Belinda, gosh that's a tough balancing act of meds. I hate styes - they are so painful. It is very frustrating spending time and money on the medical stuff. I'm thankful I have insurance, even if it doesn't cover all. Can't imagine what it is like for those who don't have any.

Hi,

Today was zoom yoga. The Dr.'s appointment went well, we will retest the bloodwork in a few months. She is also having me go for a Calcium CT test. She not too worried but wants to wait and see. My AC1 is high & my cholesterol so we discussed steps I can take to improve it.

Belinda - Great job with LMR Lower Body & Pilates. Hopefully the antibiotics will help you out. Sorry you are going through this.

Cookie - A rest day is well deserved:)

Goodnight:)

'Evening! PT and more tests today. Now onto neurosurgeon.Getting older sucks but it's the feeling your body is betraying you that is aggravating.

Deb, yoga sounds so good. Glad your dr is too worried, and hopefully that is reassuring to you. Annoying isn't it to do so much right, and then wham!

Belinda, how are your eyes doing today? Were you able to get some dancing in?

Hi,

Today was an upper body at the gym. There were bad storms & rain so no park today. We took gs to an old fashion breakfast cafe. It was cute and toddler friendly.

Belinda - I hope your eyes are feeling better. Did you keep the dress for dd's wedding you were looking at?

Cookie - It is so annoying. It's good you are getting your tests so quickly. I'm also helping DH with sending an email to his Dr. for abnormal blood test results. We eat very similar and have totally different issues with our blood tests.

Goodnight:)

Good morning,

I had to take Sadie to the vet yesterday, she vomiting and not eating. Her vet is a regular vet not an emergency vet. They kept Sadie all day yesterday and gave her IV fluids, ran a bunch of blood tests. When we tried to pick her up, her vet recommended she needs to hospitalized. She was suspecting Addison Disease, her cortisol levels were low. DH and I took her to another urgent care hospital with an Internal medicine doctor. At first, the doctor didn’t think Sadie has Addison disease since it didn’t align with the test from the vet. She said she will run all those tests again and doing ACTH simulator with messusing her cortisol levels. I checked on Sadie throughout the night. The doctor called letting me know they did the ACTH test and started her on IV meds for Addison disease since her cortisol levels dropped again. They will do an ultrasound this morning, Sadie will also see the Internal doctor this morning. Sadie will have to say longer in the hospital than the initial 12-24 hours. Please keep Sadie in your prayers!

I did managed to get a 40 min Pilates in yesterday. Waiting for the hospital to call me.
