Good Morning Ladies! Happy Valentine's Day! Another year of being single....and it's ALL GOOD!

I'm treating myself to a great day at work, another intense workout tonight ( I really hope I can get it in!), and maybe a quick afternoon trip to the mall to look at blingy jewelry for my suit. :D

So, I had an awesome workout with my friend/member yesterday!! Man, we killed it! And to top it all off after almost and hour and a half of functional, we added sprints in for good measure! I had my personal best yesterday on the treamill....sprints at 11 mph!!! Woooo hoooo! I'll tell you what, it was sooo nice to have someone else there pushing at the end. He doesn't work legs as much as I do, so he kinda puttered out, and led me on the last sprints and pushed me to that point, it was awesome!

Belinda- Awesome workout today...your weights are always impressive!

Cookie- What you said yesterday about the stress with testing is sooo true. I felt it even 10 years ago as a music teacher! Ugh. What rotation are you doing, again?? We all really need to get together soon.... I've been feeling ok...just trying to keep it all together, you know? lol

Lori- Someday I'll be able to shop again...*sigh*. So, is skinny leg coming back?? What store was this?

Kristin- So glad you found a condo!! Nice workout yesterday! I hear ya on the flying....my college reunion is in SC in April, and Im' not flying either, gonna drive down. :)

Helene- Hmmmm....maybe you will see me next Saturday!! I usually get out of work around 1ish. My laundry can wait til Sunday! :D Ohhhh....and lmao @ your incinuation of yesterday's functional workout! Very funny! But not this time, not with this guy....hehe.

Melissa- Yes, it is fun working out with a guy! I plan on doing it more often, so we're planning on hopefully every other Sunday.

Good Morning!:)

So a sleep in for me is just till 7:30 apparently;) It was nice to wake up on my own though and not to the sound of the alarm clock. We didn't go to bed until late but I had a little snooze with DS before hand.

I am off today until later this evening, then I will be on call. I am still gonna send DS to the sitters and then she takes him to preschool in the afternoon. I have to get use to this b/c that's what will be happening when I am on my 4 days off that I am giving to the new girl. This will give me time to study. So I am going to tidy up the house quickly, take him to the sitters and then study until 10:30 or so, get my workout in, have a couple sessions, then study from 2:30-4 again.

Belinda** I did D13 last week as well...I enjoyed it. Nice job!

Kristin** Have a good day! Happy to hear you have you spot booked!! I think when we went a couple of yrs ago we had to pay upfront as well. So much before hand and the rest a month before. Ours was more expensive though....$3000 for 10 days:confused: Leave it to my sister to find "the house"!

I don't know what workout to do today. I hit everything pretty late in the week last week but I am only off on Wed and Thurs this week (besides for today). I was thinking just a good cardio and abs but I am leaning towards UB as well. I will figure it out!

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! This is the first time in 5 years that I will be single, and I really don't care :D! I thought I was gonna be bummed, but honestly it's not bothering me too much. We were supposed to have a single ladies' night but things came up so we are moving it to Saturday instead. Today's plan is STS Disc 4 and some abs, then a tasting at 4.

Belinda, :eek::eek::eek: at those stats!! You rock girl! Maybe by my 10th time doing STS I will be right up there with ya ;)

Iris, awesome job on the sprints!

Lori, good luck with the studying today and have a great WO!

So I'm hearing rumors that it might hit 50 by the end of the week???? :cool: I really hope that's true! Come on spring!!!!

Belinda: So who did you spend your 10,000th post on? WTG on those weights. I love ready them. It's so inspiring. :) Glad to be on a check-in with you and the rest of the crew here.

Kristin: Nice going on your weights too. :) STS had us all using weights we would have never dreamed of before!

Melissa: Be still my beating heart. 50 by the end of this week? Oh I hope you are right on this one. Maybe the ice will melt off my drive way. Couldn't make myself do disc4 this morning. will have to do it tonight or tomorrow morning.

Lori: Sounds like this week will be good for you with some time off to figure out what to do. I am sure you'll come up with so nice insane workout and look good doing it?

Iris: I am dully impressed with your workout. I think it's awesome if you found another trainer to wo with. 11mph on the sprints is impressive. Will have to hit the track outside when the weather is nicer. fyi.......please pretty please.....where in VT? LOL

Was a bit down this morning and needed some pep so I did RS instead of Disc4. Will just have to work it in later. RS did the trick. I feel much better already.

So off to shower, then pick up DS (he's 6) and bring him to have that tooth pulled. Then off to work after lunch probably until about 10pm. As they say in the movies. Tomorrow is another day.

I know, it's been a long time and to be honest, I really don't have a great excuse, like illness or something. I've just gotten lazy with posting, but I'm starting a new (well, not so new) rotation this week and I thought it was a great time to get back to checking in. So....

Belinda - Your M2 weights are impressive as always!!

Iris - Sounds like things are going good at the gym. Did I miss any DG gossip?

Lori - I am not getting far in my ACE studies. How's it going for you? Buy any new Lulu?

Melissa - I think in northern NJ it's supposed to be 60 by Friday...I can't wait!!

Helene - Good luck with the dentist today. Fingers crossed for DS.

Hey girls...quick post for me again. I've got some pretty good news but first i want to report my workout. Did CLX disc 1 burn circuit. It was fun and different. Tomorrow is CLX disc 2 . I meant to walk the dog today but DH and I got out and ran around town a little bit. Were looking for a computer desk ...no luck yet.

On to the good news. I may have a job! Its in retail and the best part is its with-in walking distance from my house:eek: I will know more about it after lunch tomorrow...i have a meeting at 1pm.

Thought I would check in now b/c I don't know if I will have time tomorrow morning. I have workout session and then I am working out myself. Hoping to get to work at a sensible time b/c I have to train the new girl. Even though she use to work with us before , it was before the company sold so things have changed.

Iris** Sounds like you had a good workout yesterday. My TM only goes to 10 miles and hour. But the incline goes to 15! I thought for the longest time that it was just 10 until I pressed the button by accident one to many times and went to 11...so I kept going till it stopped.

Helene** How did DS do?? DD always loved going to the dentist! She's a weird chick!

Trish** I have been doing pretty good with checking in lately. For a while I was MIA. I did a fair bit of studying today but its not consistent. I need to schedule it in to my day.

Ameila** Glad to hear you enjoyed your workout and I am crossing my fingers you got the job.

Melissa** Happy to hear you are doing good today. Its just another day. Its not as if love is floating in the air!

Today's workout ended up being 4 miles on the TM, 40/20 and abs. Not sure what I will do tomorrow cause I will only have an hour.

Ok, so finished disc 16. Some of the weights that the workout card had listed did not work for me. I had to lower my weight for the barbell front press (it listed 30 #, I went down to 25 #) and my arms were still shaking. Yet, for others, I was fine. I did 12 # for the one arm kickbacks and was able to do all the reps. Weird, huh?

Amelia- that sounds great! Good luck tomorrow!

Had an awesome day today! DH came home wih the most beautiful red roses...what a sweety! We went out to dinner, eat way to much. We had Greek food, yummy!
