Morning ladies. Sorry I didn't have time to post yesterday. I was too exhausted after my workout, which was GS Chest adn Triceps, but the timesaver, because I didn't think I could do the whole thing today. First I woke up earlier than usual because I needed to get gas and I wantd to have more time to grade before the students came in. Well, DS got sick and threw up in his bed. Poor thing. Luckily, DH was off yesterday, so I didn't have to worry about child care or calling in sick. Still, it took away the extra time I had built in to waking up early.

Anyway, work was good. I chaperoned the bowling club after school and so I didn't get home until 7. Had a quick dinner. DS was feeling better and showing me all the pictures he drew with his brother. Then the boys wanted to play puzzles. We do puzzles races, where whichever team completes the puzzle first wins. After that my younger DS wanted me to be the waitress in his restaurant. Too cute. I worked out after they went to bed, but by that time I just didn't have it in me to do the whole thing.

I am pre-ordering Xtrain when I get paid. I have decided to get CF and TTM as well because it looks like they still have the free shipping. I am really excited.

I will bb later with personals. I have to get ready to go, go go!

Morning girls,

I had my doc appoitment at 1 pm, we didn't leave the clinic on base in Fredericks until 5 pm. DH and I had an appointments. They took x-rays from my foot/knees (my arch is killing me) and my lower back(been having troubel with my disc again:confused:). I also had some lap work done, EKG, breast excam done. My doc didn't play around:eek: I am getting PT again for my lower back, need to stay off my feet:( My vit D levels are very low is 17(normal range is 33-100:confused:), he gave me a mega dose off vit D (I only take one pill once a week for a few month, to get my levels up). Must be some powerful vitamine:) He game me muscle relaxer for my back, they knocked me out last night:D

We also saw a friend of ours, we haven't seen in over 18 years.:D He was stationed in Bamberg .He is still in the military.

Kirstin - glad your son is feeling better. Good for you, getting xtain and TTM/CT.

What a day! I was in first period when I got a call that DS's school called for me. I called back. It turns out he threw up again. Now he was fine all day yesterday. He only threw up once in the morning and that was it. He also complained of a headache. He has a shunt in his head because he has hydrocephalus (excess cerebral fluid on the brain). the shunt takes the excess fluid out and puts it in the abdomen where it gets flushed out. Anyway, signs of a malfunction include vomiting and headache (among other things). We called his surgeon and he told us to bring him in for an MRI. So DH picked up DS from school then he picked me up and we drove all the way to Nassau County to the hospital to get him checked out. We spent most of the day there waiting for the MRI. Anyway, MRI shows everything is okay. DS is feeling better. All ends well. It was just upsetting and stressful.

I ended up doing plyo legs D32 and then my own ab workout. I have papers to grade, so I plan on getting to work once the boys are in bed.

You know what I hate about weight workouts. . . putting the equipment away. I regret not transforming my garage into a workout room. One day maybe, one day. ..

Belinda- I guess you can relate to being at the doctor's office for hours, huh? That is so funny to run into an old time friend like that. Small world.

Lori- I had a whacko for a dentist a few years ago. As a kid I had two fillings, the metal kind. Ever since I have hated going. I don't remember why, but I just hated going. My boys loved their first visit though.

Good Morning:)

I didn't checkin yesterday?:eek: what's that all about???

I went for a 12.5 k run Monday night and yesterday I did ctx bic,tris,shoul and another 12.5 k run. My mom is here and I also got to sleep in this morning! I went to bed earlier and got up later! I'm catching up on the sleep I've missed the last 8 months:eek:

Belinda** I love painting the house b/c it makes me feel like I have a new one! So are you allowed to workout at all? I don't know if I'd last. It's my only sanity!

Kristin** yay...your getting xtrain! I preordered a long time ago and now when it comes (actually ill be moved :( gonna have to get that changed!) I'll be super excited as well. Nothing better then new cathe and new lulu coming in the mail! Hope your little guy is feeling better. That happens all to often..,you think they a fine and then they end up getting sick again. DD was famous for it.

Ended up taking a walk last night, that's it! Today I will do D8(BB).

Kirstin - glad your son is fine. Sorry you had a stressful/upsetting day. Whre do you store your weight equipment? LOL!!

Lori - good job on your run yesterday. Guess what my doc told me about my workouts? LOL! He said I am not 25 years old anymore:confused:....he gave me sheets of papers with exercises on it (every light) and told me to do water aerobices or go for a 25 min walk. That's it! I am waiting for my results from the x-rays, than I decide what I will do? HiiT is out the the question, that's for sure. Thought about canceling my order for xtrain???:eek: Last month I did lots of high intensity workouts, since than my foot is bodering me. I can hardly walk at night, that's how bad it is.

Hey girls, quick check in.

I was off Sunday and Monday, worked Tuesday and off today. Feels good to get some rest.

Yesterday I got in a 30minute walk ( and my foot was screaming last night:() Today I iced my foot, took some ibuprofen and went for another walk for 40minutes. I hope the foot is better tonight...so far so good. I got in some good stretching after my walk. Eating is going good, Im logging my food again:)

Belinda-I hope you get to feeling better soon with a speedy recover. I can relate to the back and foot pain. Thats why I don't do a lot of high impact workouts anymore.

Hello to everyone, will catch up tomorrow after work ( or in the morning if I decide to get up early for a workout. I need to get in some light weights)
 
Hello everyone. Just finished GS BSB. I have one more week of gym styles, and I am kind of glad. I am now getting sick of them. How can that be when I have only been doing them for three weeks? I think it is the repetition of sets, especially chest sets. I am looking forward to Xtrain, where no sets are repeated! I was thinking of doing STS next month or 4DS rotation. Not sure. . .

Lori- congrats on the sleep. I remember how hard it was to get decent sleep with both my babies. My first one hated to sleep alone and so he was always in our bed. The second one was better, until he turned two. Any other viewings of the house?

Belinda- I wouldn't cnacel Xtrain just yet. I saw on one of the other forums that there will be a lot of low impact in the workouts. See what your results are with the x-rays first, like you said.

Amelia- hey there! Good job with the walk and logging in food. I have to start doing that again. Are you on My Fitness Pal? I haven't been there in a few weeks. I used to log my food there.

Where is Deb and Cookie?

Hi everyone! My dad picked the boys up from school and then kept them for dinner so DH and I took advantage and went out for dinner CHILDLESS :). I had a delicious steak! It was the highlight of my day. I just finished LICh. I am soooo tired. At work they are selling little bags of Hershey kisses to raise money for breast cancer. I've eaten two bags in two days, lol. There are 8 in a bag, so it's not that bad. I am just craving sugar big time now, lol.

Belinda- did you do the yoga? I bet the fall leaves look beautiful by you. I was driving on the state parkway and the scene of trees with golden and orange and red leaves was so pretty. It was hard to keep my eyes on the road.

Where is everyone lately?

Belinda, how are you doing now? Sure hope you are taking it easy. You are in better shape than most 25 year olds so what was that doctor thinking?
Kristin, sorry about your team. A date night and in the middle of the week - awesome! What a supportive family you have. My eating has just been bad. There were Tootsie Rolls at a meeting and I ate almost all the ones at my table and grabbed a few from another. And I'm not even really a candy eater! Stress.
Lori, have you started packing? It must be hard to pack when everything has to look picture perfect all the time. How will you handle the holidays?
Amelia, did you see on Open Discussion talk about FitBit? Where did you get yours?
Deb, hope you're enjoying Florida and that you and dh are relaxing.

Good Morning:)

Sorry I have been MIA too. My mom was here for a couple of days and DS is becoming a iPad hog these days. He didn't use his iPad much this summer but now that it's cold, he's playing it more.

I did 13k on Thursday and yesterday was STS & MM UB,30 min run and 1/2 DWP. The kids came home for lunch and I had to stop.

Today I have a few things on the go. DS has a Halloween party at 12 and gymnastics at 2. The baby was up early this morning so maybe we will have a afternoon nap while DS is at gymnastics.

Belinda** did it hurt when the dr told you that you aren't 25 anymore? Lol. I know we all think we are younger then we are. Whenever my running partner goes to the dr (which seems to be often) he tells her that she is more active then the normal 40+ yr old and that's why she is having so many issues. Shes always been active but over the last couple of years she's kicked it up a knotch and now she is having a lot of issues with her knee and hip. She blames in on her sneakers:rolleyes: when she did 3 marathons in one year and insanity to train! I don't think it's the sneakers. I keep asking her how much longer she plans on blaming her shoes! Lol

Ameila** it's always good to write down what you eat when your looking to lose weight. It's easy to poke things in our mouths when it's not accounted for.

Kristin** I've been doing the GS weekly for a while and I'm not sure when I'll stop. I'm just thinking about upping the weights in some of the moves now. Its the one workout that I know will leave me sore the next day.

Cookie** no packing yet...not sure when I'll start that:eek: maybe when DH passes his finally exam which is the 21st of nov. I'm guessing we will be a little stressed then!

So we got our posting on Thursday as well. Cold lake Alberta. It's a town of about 14,000..much like we are use to. His boss thinks we are better off renting until the military move out in the spring. Which is a good idea cause it will give us some idea of what area we would like to live in. He also said that it wouldn't be any trouble for me to get a job there. A lot of interesting things coming our way!

My inlaws are coming soon so I can head out for a run and then I have training at 10:30. I may do some more weights later today...

Hello girls. I just finished KPC. I now have to pay bills and clean the house, lol. Not before I order XTrain though ;)

Not much else to report. Time is flying. I still have to get my boys their Halloween costumes :eek:. My eating is a bit out of control these days. I blame stress, lol.

Lori- I love the GS BSB but the chest and triceps just kills me. Mostly the chest workout portion. I think chest is my least favorite muscle to work. Anyway.. . I am starting to see more definition come out. I am thinking of doing STS undulating rotation next month.

Cookie- tootsie rolls are my weakness. Luckily they are not that bad for you. I mean other candy does much mroe damage, lol.

We're back from vacation. Ugh, on the eating my stomach has been hurting the last couple of days so happy to start eating my own food tomorrow. We went to the gym once, but walked everyday. We had great weather. I've been checking out the new pics for X-train & it looks great but where is Lorraine:confused:

Looks like you girls have been keeping up the workouts for me;)

Belinda - Wondering if you should do mostly low impact & throw in high intensity once in a blue moon:confused:

Lori - Do you think they are telling you to rent because you can be relocated sooner than later? Great job logging in the miles, need to add running to lose some of this vacation weight gain.

Kristin - So you are ordering X-train:) Love looking at the photos.

Amelia - Sorry your foot is acting up again:( It's hard when your on your feet all day too.

Cookie - It must have been so much fun visiting DD. How does she like school?

Kristin, I'm getting my eating in line and no more tootsie rolls for me. I am most definitely a stress eater, and it is not good. Always wanted to be one of those folks who can't eat when there are too many things going on.
Lori, I'll have to look at where you're moving to. At least you now know what the area will be like. What about a new coat for that cold area? Are you getting the lulu one?
Amelia, how's the work drama? I was explaining to one of my sons that every place seems to have similar roles and people line up to fill them - particularly the PITA ones.
Deb, was the time away relaxing? I hope so. Didn't realize you were a runner. Is a sauce day? DD does seem to be enjoying Providence, but she's not a party girl and I think is having a hard time trying to find her place. Tomorrow is her birthday.
Want to get in a long walk, ub work, groceries, vacuuming, and start planting a huge box of bulbs that came.

Hi Girls,

I am waiting for the baby to wale up so we can go to my in laws house for dinner. I will have to wake him soon if he doesn't wake on his own.

Yesterday I went for a 13 k run, today was AB/35 mins cardio/MM LB. I have a feeling my legs will be sore later.

I have been looking up some info on Cold lake since the baby went for his nap. I was looking at rental properties....oh my, is all I can say. I have some adjusting to do. I have to remember that it will only be for a short time and then we can buy something.

Kristin** Nice workouts. Hope you enjoying your time with your friends. I don't think I have a least fav body part to work...it use to be a toss up between tris and back. I don't know how many times I use to skip tri work. Its that area that always looks the same no mater what. I see a dif now that I am working it 3 x's a week.

Deb** They are telling us to rent so that we can figure out what areas we like and in the spring the military housing is on the market b/c people are being transferred. Right now there isn't really that much on the market, unless I have half a mil kicking around!:confused: Sounds like you enjoyed your vaca!

Cookie** I have some pretty warm coats already....I don't live in the hottest place in the world:eek: I have one that is almost to warm and I thought about getting rid of it...glad I kept it. No more new lulu for moi...right now anyway...lol

Sorry for not checking in,I am very busy:eek: Had my hair colored and cut on Friday in DC. Almost had a heart attack payiing $185:p:eek: I was like HOLY CRAP:confused::confused: I know it's a lot of money, but I love my hair:eek: Aelsia and I had lunch in DC and did a little shopping in Georgetown.Satursay we didn't get much done,had a crappy night sleep:eek: I was up all night long. The only thing we got done is painting the ceilling/patched up holes. Today we painted the kitchen. We still have to do the trim, hopefully I will get that done tomorrow while DH is at work:eek: I did do D8 Legs today. I am beat. Busy weekend.


I promise, I will catch up on personls tomorrow.

Today I did Ballet Body. This week is going to be tough need to catch up at work but I must try & get my workouts in no matter what:) I needed to stock up on food the refrig was so empty but cleaning it was a breeze.

Belinda - I bet your hair looks great. What color did you go with? Now the Dr. will think your 25;)

Lori - You'll have to play the lottery if the houses are that expensive;) It's probably a good idea to rent so you'll have choices. You could also keep somethings that you don't need in boxes so you won't have to unpack right away.

Kristin - I saw the play with Derek Jeter it didn't seem like he was as hurt as he is:( I see you've moved on to football, we're really not Giants fans but I do like when Cruz does his dance after touchdowns.

Cookie - That must be tough for DD:( but gives her time to concentrate on her studies. I made my sauce before FL so I'm good for 3 more weeks. You just reminded me I bought bulbs that need to be planted:confused:

Kristin, you move from one sport right into another. One round of LM is enough for me.
Lori, I've always heard it is best to rent when first moving to a new area anyway. That way you have a chance to get to know it and neighborhoods before making the commitment of a purchase. We're supposed to have a snowy winter this year.
Amelia, hope all is well. My dryer broke yesterday and needs to be replaced so no FitBit now for me.
Deb, I'm doing a Ballet Body wo in a few minutes - once I stop procrastinating. LB for me. What did you do? I really like Leah's workouts. Tried the Ballet Beautiful one but it is boring.
Didn't sleep well again last night. Have no idea how I managed to work Friday evening, part of Saturday and yesteday, and still am not ready for this week.
