Good Morning:)

I should be all set to go today. I fell asleep with DS last night around 9'ish and didn't wake up until 12:40!!! Went right from that to my own bed pretty much. I think I was back in bed by 1:15 or so. I was tired from getting up so early. I can manage to get up pretty early but those who get up before 5! I don't know how you get through the day. Around 2'ish I started getting pretty lazy so I had to get up and move around. I didn't get a chance to check in b/c my manager was a around all day and my bosses pilot.

I think I am gonna do a run and HR today. If I don't get to fit it all in, then I will probably do 1/2 of HR and a run. I could also do a run and one of the 30/30 workouts. Its been a little while since I have done one of those.

I will come back later to read presonals. I am also hoping to get some studying done at work today. I can't believe that I have to work 2 more days...then OFF for another week! Yee Haw!

Quick check in! DH and I went to the gym, I did CCV3 (4 miles);)
DH and I will go to a military ball this evening. I also have to walk the dogs later, I will not be back until later this evening.

Good Morning Ladies!

It's on now!! Some big big changes in my nutrition.....it's gonna get reallll ugly now....:confused: I'm going to try and get Back and Bi's in tonight at the gym. I might try and go back after I finish laundry.

My chest/tri's are stil sore from 2 days ago, and now of course my buns from B&G yesterday......

As far as DB goes, I'm not getting overlly excited yet....after all I've gone through the last couple of years, there is still a twinge of me that's always waiting for the other shoe to drop, you know? So, I'm just going to enjoy what it is now, and not have any expectations. Play it safe..... On the flip side of that, to answer Cookie's question? I'd like red or light pink dresses.....LOL.

Belinda- have a great workout!

Lori- Some days I'm up at 3:30 :eek: But that's usually when I have the alarm set for 4 and I don't see the point in going back to sleep if I wake up...lol You better study study girl! :eek: What's up with all this time off?

Deb- ((((Hugs)))) Dang girl, you got a lot on your plate. Thoughts and prayers are with you. And it's ridiculous how long you have to wait in the ER for a room to be "ready"....:rolleyes:

Kristin- I'll post my diet at the end here....which I'm sure will be changed even more week of show....it's nuts....lol. I'm getting my hair done too, a few days before the show....I have grays as well...wtf is that, we're too young for that. :rolleyes:

Helene- I'm still laughing!! I might make your message your ring tone!! LOL!
And yeah DC did just get back, now he's in Vancouver....where is that, anyyways? Anywhere near Lori I wonder? So you might not see me for rollerskaing...:( I'm going to try and get my laundry done today so I can go back to the gym and train tonight. I almost can't wait to get back to a normal life.........

Cookie- What bosu workouts did you get?? Is it like a series? I've never done anything bosu and I probably should!

So in a nutshell here's my diet (this week).

6 meals a day---Chicken and White Fish only (no egg whites..bummer), no condiments ( and that really means no condiments, everything is dry now...ugh) , no sugar (duh), 1/4 cup Fruit once per day, 1/4 cup Starch twicer per day, and green vegetables every meal. 4 tsp. of good fat (down from 6). I just swig flax oil and be done with it.

My coach says she knows it will be tough.....but hang in there, etc etc. I'm thinking, it's not the diet that will be tough, it will be everything else in life that will be tough!! LOL

Even DB told me to hang in there....I said "It's not me I worry about sticking it out, it's you! "...LOL! :p

Morning,

Didn't workout yesterday. Playing catch up today :)

Just did stead state step by tracey staehle and I LOVED it. It is a bit easier than Cathe and perfect that way. It will be tons of fun too when I have been able to learn the choreography which is not too hard. Her DVDs are on sale for $9.99 and I jumped on the opportunity after I saw that lauramax posted she liked the workouts. glad I did. I previewed a couple others and they look fantastic as well. Next week is my rest week so I will be learning a lot of them. I like her personality too. She clicks better for me than KCM. Too bad the production is not Cathe quality. We are seriously spoiled with Cathe.

OK, so cardio is done, time to go do disc 12 legs, then kids' swim lessons (hot tub for a bit too :D ) and then roller skating. Tomorrow is disc 11 and I am done with M1.

Rest week next week. Doing Cooler 1 from Tosca's eat clean recharged. Then doing 4 weeks from eat clean stripped that I just got :) My goal is to look fabulous by the time we meet up :p and to at least not be ashamed to be in a bathing suit by the time vaca comes around (first week of May) :confused:

Hi,

I'm much calmer today:) Looking forward to going to Nashville and downtime at night, the hotel we are staying at is really nice www.gaylordhotels.com. DH is off picking FIL from hospital, now we can go without worrying.

I'm going to do lower body blast today and take a rest week from STS next week.

Belinda - The military ball sounds exciting:) I ordered the bosu dvd's from your's & Cookie's recommendation too!

Lori - Are you one week on and one week off? Have fun studying today:)

Iris - WOW, on the meal plan but the results will be worth it:) Wondering if your already dreaming about your 1st meal after the competition.

Helene - Is the new Tosca book much different then the 1st? I've it on my Amazon wish list.

Cookie - My bosu is still in the box, maybe these DVD's will get me to open it:eek:

Kristin - It's great how soundly you sleep after and STS workout:)

Hi all. quick check in for me. I am getting ready to get my hair colored and cut. I swear, more and more grays are popping up, and they are new. I know they are new because they don't have any color on them at the end, ahhhh :eek:

So I did D24, Back and biceps. So looking forward to the week of rest before doing Meso 3. I am seeing some nice definition in my arms and legs. My abs. . . well, I know I have to get my eating under control again, lol.

Iris- you cracked me up with the "flip side" comment. Nothing wrong with taking it slow and just living in the moment. sounds pretty smart to me ;)

Lori- hope you get the studying done today. HR is another one I want to get when I am done with STS, but now I am thinking of doing another round of STS when I finish this one. Hmmm. What to do, lol.

Helene- hot tub sounds divine!

Deb- hope you enjoy your visit and that all continues to be calm.

Deb: I hope that you have a nice weekend together. I hope it can feel like a vacation in some weird way. You deserve a bit of a breather. The tosca book is very similar in the chitchat. She again has a weird idea, this time it's not the bee pollen but distilled water! :rolleyes: Otherwise it has some new recipes that look lower carb to me. What I like are the menu plans in the book. And.....I really hope the work :D PM me if you want to look at them.

Belinda: Hope you enjoyed the ball and looked fabulous in your gown :)

Kristin: Hot tub was divine. That is why I did legs before back and triceps. I knew I could sink my legs in the tub while the kids were at swim lesson :D Do enjoy your rest week. When I started this round, I though I was going to shorten it and skip the rest weeks. Now I can't wait for my rest week. LOL.

Iris: Yeah, have fun with that diet :confused: OMG, I bow to you and your control doing this. Too funny about telling DB you hope HE makes it through.

Lori: You sound so relaxed and yet you have this insane workout planned again. Only you! :p How much more studying do you have? You've got to be getting somewhere with all this.

I have to say, not only am I so happy with this check-in for the friendship support and motivation, but I am also so stoked to meet everyone this summer. What a blast the idea of all sweating it out together with Cathe and crew!

Did get everything done today, the steady step from Staehle, disc 12 and roller skating with the kids. I won't cound swimming 'cause I spent my time in a tub. All I needed was a ducky it felt so nice to soak. But they other people might not have appreciated.

Have a great evening everyone. I have disc 11 to finish M1 tomorrow and I'll probably try another staehle workout, I'm thinking high intensity step. It looks like Imax light. Should be fun.

Helene - we did enjoyed the ball. I almost did had anything to wear,lol:eek:. I have this fabulus gown/shirt (from Ann Taylor) I worn last year, no problem. I put it today and it slipped right off my hips:confused:. So I was like, what should do? The dress code was, a long dress? I couldn't show up in a short dress! I had to hold up my silk skirt with a belt, ROFLMAO! It worked! I think I pass on Tracey,Steahls workouts! I just order a lot of Amy Bento and one KCM (step/boxing)DVDs!

Kirstin - your are rocking STS, girl! WTG, on D24 today.

Debbie - glad you much calmer today. Good for you. Do you have a Bosu? Let me know what you think about those dvds. Still waiting for mine:)The hotel looks fabulous! Very nice!
