Hi and good morning,

I will do cardio today? I think it's one of the HiiT ones? I will let you know later what I did.

Have a wonderful day and workout, everyone! BBL!

Good Morning Ladies

I find I check in less when I have a lot on my mind.... But let me touch on personals from what I remember before I get into it.

Melissa- Holy S*%$! I can barely bring myself to do LIS lately, much less two hiit's back to back!! WTG!!

Belinda- LOL So what are you going to do about your MIL and FB?? Too funny! I'm thinking there might not be any way around it.......LOL! I think if I were newly married I'd be freaking out a little bit. Have you been close with her over the years?

Deb- Yes, have been keeping in touch with clients (for the most part)..... Isn't this summer flying by?? I haven't enjoyed it at all.....I guess I better start. Haven't been out in the sun once!

Helene- One time Kristin and I went down for a Friday morning class, and it was the last time, because traffic was AWFUL coming home that day!!! My advice is if you can drive down Thursday night, DO IT.

Amelia- Must read your blog today, figure out what's going on with this job of yours. ;)

Kristin- Omg...ribs...so yummy. Hey, at least it was indulging on protein right?? lol

So.... Forget DI, I think the most disappointed person out of all of this is his mother, anyways! LOL!

I'm so in limbo as to what I want to do. I feel like if I put everything into this training business, I could make a real go of it. But am I passionate enough about it to constantly be in the car, driving all over the place (esp. in the winter), lugging sh*t......and THEN my ultimate goal would be to open a studio. THEN, I'm sure life would be consumed by it for years. Is that what i want to do forever??? I don't seem me as the "entrepreneur" because I have too many interests outside of "work". Do I want wealth or freedom and time with family? Am I really that passionate about it to go those lenghts??? The answer right now?? Is no....not that Im' not passionate about what I do, but when I'm honest with myself, it's not my number ONE passion.
My ultimate dream, (when I was young) was to be a professional horn player. But to even have a shot at getting into a Masters Program for performance, I'd need at least 2 years of intense practice again (in fact I would take lessons again to have a mentor/coach). Then affording to go back to school, and WHERE, and then how many more years of training and THEN auditioning for jobs, which could take me anywhere! Am I really that passionate about this to go those lenghts?? And the answer is...YES. The thougth of sitting through endless of hours of rehearsal and practice time doesn't phase me....never did. I didn't go for my Masters so long ago, because at the time I was excited about teaching and using the degree I had, and I was in such debt, that another degree would have dug me so far into a whole that I didn't want at the time.

However, this is not the most practical root.

So, do I chase the original dream?? Work no name jobs for awhile to save and save and save? Do I start a business just to close it down the road? Ugh...decisions!!! Thanks for letting me vent...lol!

Hi girls! This morning I did PUB and the "up" part of PLB. I had to skip the calves though cuz mine have some serious DOMS from yesterday's workout. My eats were HORRENDOUS last night  I am not very happy with myself, especially with the RT being just around the corner! Today is a new day though so fingers crossed it's a good one. I also made up my workout schedule for now until the RT and it's a doozie!

Deb, the summer sure is flying by! I will probably leave for the RT around the same time as you. I'll call ahead at the hotel and let them know I might be early; if they can't accommodate me then there is plenty of shopping to do in the area ;)

Belinda, have fun with HIIT! My bff is friends with her MIL on FB and she hates it...prob cuz she hates her MIL

Iris, I totally know how you feel. And this is probably not the most practical answer BUT I say do what you dream; if that's playing the horn then go for it! You really need to do what you're passionate about. You could put a lot of time, energy, and money into a training business that sure, it's great on paper, but you might wind up hating it and that resentment could translate into the rest of your life, your relationships, etc; that's no way to live. The people who are really successful are the ones who have a passion for what they do because they don't mind busting ass to get it done and get it done well. That's just my 2cents :) Could you do a teaching/horn combo and teach music?

Hello all! Workout done! M2 D19, my muscles are bulging, lol. I don't know if i will be able to move my arms at all tomorrow. It is so hoooootttt outside. I am taking my boys to my parents' house and going for a swim.

Deb- LOL at the parent fight at the little league game. That is my worst nightmare, and it is more common than we all think. People are nutso! BTW- I thought it was just me that thought the summer was flying by!

Melissa- Have you ever tried the total body premix on the pyramids dvd? I never have but a lot of people have commented that it is a killer workout combining the two.

Belinda- I try to not talk to my MIL ever, so to be FB friends with her, I would have to say hell to the no, lol (to quote Whitney Houston). I guess it depends on your relationship with her.

Iris- I am not in your position, so it is easier for me to say this than if I had to do it myself, but I agree with Melissa. . . Follow your dream. I know this from friends of mine that are in music. . . REAL musicians are not happy unless they are giving theri music their everything. . . Sounds like you, no?

I will bbl,
Kristin

Good Afternoon fellow fitness fanatics ;)

so, I've had my workout clothes on since about 10am this morning and there quit comfy for cleaning up the house then eating lunch in...but still no workout yet........suppose to do Supreme 90 Legs today. Im off today so I technically have all day to get it in. I do have grocery shopping to do after MIL leaves later this evening so thats my time slot to get it in....

My job is becoming more like a frickin' headache here lately. The next two weeks are going to be 40 hour weeks. My first thought is 'how on earth am I going to get all my workouts in?' guess I will have to just set that alarm clock and get it done....:)

Also: The cake decorator quit - well gave two week notice yesterday. (he already told me he was so no big surprise there) And since i have experience in cake decorating she wants to train me. Its a morning shift and i would be home with the kids/hubby more, no babysitter (still may close 1-2times a week) and I would be learning more about something I truly enjoy doing...this could be the start of a good career for me:)
BUT, since im training im not getting a raise or anything and there is more responsibility with cake orders/cake production.

I don't know?

Iris-We both need Help right now;):p I agree with Melissa...do what your most passionate about (guess i should take that advice too:eek:)

Deb-I agree with you on not talking to my manager - i didn't say anything to him yesterday about it. And I know what you mean about the summer going by so quickly..my kids will be starting back to school in a few weeks:( Great job with your KB workout yesterday.

Belinda-I would say no to the MIL on FB. But then agian...my MIL doesn't own a computer and wouldn't know how to turn it on anyway so it doesn't matter:confused::p There are a lot of privacy/security setting of FB too...;)

Melissa-Glad to hear your feeling better. And thanks girl...you guys keep me motivated to get my workouts in...

Kristin-Great job with your workouts...and yum on the ribs the other day. DH wants to cook out this weekend...we may throw some ribs on there....

Hello to everyone I missed. BBL to hopefully report a workout:eek:

I knew, I could count on you girls! Thanks for all our inpute. I will not add her to my FB page.BBL!

Hi,

Today I took spin & pilates at the gym, I was lucky and got the last bike:) The gym was packed today, I think because of the heat & humidity.

Belinda - Great pics, nice to see Cathe in your RV:) kudos on making the most of the space, just don't reach for a snack when you end up in the kichen:eek:

Iris - I want to say go for your dream, but because of the expense & time just have a back-up plan. The good thing is you have time to think about it and plan.

Kristin - Your moving through STS quickly:)

Melissa - There is plenty of shopping and no shortage of places to eat either:)

Amelia - I would go for the cake decorator job, ask for a raise after they train you;)

Hi Helene, Cookie, Trish & Lori

Goodnight:)
