COMMIT TO GET FIT & LEAN FOR FEB 9, 2011

Good Morning!

Hump day it is and I am back to work today...work is a break so I don't know why I wanna stay home:eek: My coworker sent me a text at some point during the night listing off all of the work she hadn't done and that she left for me. We (or I should say I) send this spread sheet to head office every tuesday but for some reason she can never manage to send it. She always says that the price change wasn't in but that's not true. I know what time the email was sent:mad:

Anyway...yes DOMS is raging and my shoulders,back.....he** everything hurts! I have a training session shortly and after that it was just be a run and abs for me. If it snowed to much last night and she couldn't get here I would have done legs and a run. Then I would have been really hurting tomorrow! DOMS EVERYWHERE!!!

Good Morning Ladies

Today is cardio and Shoulders. I will probably do 4DS HIS. 5 1/2 weeks....:eek: I need to be on point!! :eek: Notice there is no talk of "D's?"....there's no time for "D's"!! I'm sure you are all bored with me now...LOL

I remember this time last year I was studying like crazy all winter for the ACE exam (which was in April), while DG stood by and teased pretty much.
This year I'm going crazy all winter for this competition, while DG stands by and teases pretty much....LOL.

Belinda- Enjoy your workout today!! We were chatty yesterday, weren't we??

Lori- Geeeez!! You and be both with the doms!! We're like the bobsey twins this week? lol. Ohhh...and OTB is the horse racing channel (Off Track Betting). It's where I worked before the gym!! LOL

Cookie- "The Help"- Kathryn Stockett. I just read it a few weeks ago. Cathy Savage also has a book club and it was on last months "to read" list. I picked it up and said "damn there's no way I'm gonna finish this in two weeeks". I finished it in 3 days. :eek: I am noticing some STRENGTH in my training. My rear end has FINALLY started to lift. My shoulders are more defined than they've ever been. Howerver, I can't seem to drop body fat quick enough...but I'm not fretting *yet*.

Melissa- It is definitely the week of doms! I'm sure you did great on your exam!! I can't believe you've had one already?? Seems like you just left the hole!

Helene- Sorry about that!! I worked late last night....like every night lately, which is fine! I was "next door" sending a fax yesterday, and DC's main guy for his business says "February is going by wayyyy to fast"....LOL! My sentiments exactly!

Good Morning,

I made it a point to get up early so i could get my coffee and workout in before my dentist appointment this morning. I'm having two cavities filled:confused: My DH was laughing at me yesterday when I asked what all was involved with filling a cavity. I almost canceled my appointment after he told me :eek:

I don't think I checked in yesterday but I did CCV6 and had a blast with Sean.

Belinda-How did your something workout go? I feel the same way...im up early to workout but have no idea what exactly im doing yet?:confused:

Lori-woot woot on the doms. Can't wait to get ChaLean, I hear it gives killer doms:D I had some doms yesterday in my back and chest from 4ds Monday...felt so nice.

Cookie-Awesome job on your STS workout yesterday! Any Doms this morning? I'm reading Pillars Of the Earth right now...im only in the second chapter and its really hard to put down..have your read it yet? Pretty good. The last book I read was The Art of Racing In The Rain, it was pretty good too.

Melissa-LOL at your HRM saying your dead. My #'s yesterday after CCV6 were disappointing, I really don't know why i wear the d@mn thing anyway:rolleyes: guess im just too curious. How did the bio exam go?

Iris-High fives on the back doms, i love back doms and usually only get them from kickbox. I was suprised to get some from 4ds the other day...

Kristin-Nice job on your STS workout yesterday...hows the pecs this morning?

Quick check in while no one is in the office. I managed to get 4 miles in on the TM before I came to work. I even managed my smoothie to but I am getting hungry now. I think meal #2 will soon be calling my name!:)

Iris** Oh...now I got you! I can understand why you wouldn't want to see that channel on the tv! Is DG still around??? When you mention studying I kinda wanna throw up a little! LOL

Ameila** Its nice to have some other dvds from different instructors but the majority of the time I pull out a Cathe workout. She will always be my fav. A stupid things irritate me about other instructors. Even the simple things like how Amy Bento's tank top rolls up and you can see her belly...if you wanna show your belly then wear a sports bra...not a tank! Just doesn't seem as "put together" as cathe...or something.

o.k...I will probably bbl!

Hallo girls,

I took a long walk with my dogs today, I also did yoga from Yogatoday (free class), 53 min! Good stress reliever!

Hey all! So, last night no workout :(. It will have to count as my rest day. Yesterday I had DOMs in my pecs and shoulders. Today I have MAJOR DOMs in my pecs and shoulders. I did Disc 14, legs, and during the warm up, it hurt to lift my arms to the side for the side to sides and it hurt even more to lift them up overhead. I guess that means it is working. I have never had shoulder DOMs before!!!!

Today was Disc 14, loving the tri-sets. I did the BB deadlifts with 60 #s, that is the heaviest I have ever lifted. I couldn’t believe I did it!

Iris- I am definitely seeing some more definition with STS. Meso 2 rocks so far!!!

Melissa- I don’t have a rack or tower, I just lifted gradually. During the third set I lifted slower and did less reps. I won’t push myself with the heavy weight and no one to spot me!!! LOL.

Lori- your workouts are kicking butt lately!

Cookie- I like the fact that Meso 2 is less equipment as well, and with the longer rests, I can get ready in time for the next set ;)

Belinda- thanks, you telling me that I’m doing fantastic with the weights put a big smile on my face, lol. I don’t have a tower/rack :(

Amelia -even more sore today, lol :eek:. how was the dentist. I really need to go myself, but I hate it so much!

Things are really crazy here but hopefully everything will calm down tomorrow . . . I have a rough morning and hopefully will keep my cool. So I took a bat to a patch of ice outside only alittle successful but it sure felt good:)

Debbie - (((HUGS))) about the rough morning. Hope tomorrow is a better day. SNM will post it on the forum when it's time for the sign up.

Kirstin - looks like STS is getting you good:p I love the tri-sets too. Can't wait until next week.

Lori - your workouts look amazing. I never noticed that about Amy Bento? I do like her workouts. Like you said, it's nice to mix instructors.

Amelia - I have a denist appt tomorrow:rolleyes: only for a cleaning! Yeah, on the doms!
