Commit to get fit & lean for August!!

Good Morning:)

Here we go again....I just had some of my post written and it disappeared:mad:. Hope this isn't a sign of what my day is going to be like.

I'm not sure what I will do today. I keep pretty busy through out the day but after a while I started feeling a little down if I haven't seen any other adults. I can only talk to a 5 month and 5 yr old for so long:rolleyes:. I went to Walmart yesterday just to get out plus I needed light bulbs, I ran into my mil and I felt better after talking to her for a while.

Yesterday's workout was 3.5 miles on the tm, 30/30 and GS B,S,B. I'm leaning towards chest and tris or legs today. Other then that I have no plans. I feel like I need to start getting back into the swing of things. I almost feel like the trip to see DH set me back and I'm having trouble settling back in. It's only been 4 days.... Plus I know that I probably won't see him anymore until dec.

Belinda** it makes sense for them to move home in that case. Its hard to start life in debt but most of us have had to do it. My parents couldn't afford to put us through school and we all came out with student loans. Thankfully mine wasn't the much. I have a friend who was in school for years! Lol. She must have owed at least $50G in loans.

Kristin** it's pretty dark and dingy here today. I almost feel like turning on the lights! I can't complain though b/c we have had a awesome summer but when it rains, DS is stuck in side which drives me nuts! Thanks for the heads up on the pre sale ending. I was holding off as well. After visiting DH my cc needs to be cleaned up a bit. I didn't buy much but a rent a car and hotels aren't cheap these days! I'm looking forward to something new!

Ameila** we can blame everything on hormones! Unless someone is being a total moron and deserves to be snapped at:D. Whenever I would get mad at DH and he always thought it was hormonal, I would make sure he knew that he was being a tool! But there are times I know I'm being mean for no reason...lol. But even then I blame it on hormones b/c I haven't had a period in months so I have no clue when it's coming! Now that the baby is on solids and nursing as slowed down, I expect it any day now.

Deb** yeah I don't think I would be overly concerned about that blood pressure either! Better then being the other way I guess. No doubt it probably is on the lower end b/c you lead a healthy lifestyle.

I may bbl to report my workout!

Lori:)

Hi everyone. I got my workout in early today because it is DS birthday party today. We are having it at a sports place. It is owned by some of the LI Ducks (minor league team on LI). They do wiffle ball, dodgeball, something else too. Plus, my son's favorite player is "showing up". He does not know. Should be a great day!

I ended up doing SLide and Glide. Between AB yesterday and SG today, I doubt I will be walking straight at the end of the day, lol.

Lori- Losing posts happens to me sometimes too. Why does that happen? Don't be too hard on yourself from being tired. That trip would take a lot out of anyone, without having a baby with you. You'll adjust. I know firsthand it is hard to have a baby and a small child for conversation. You have us here too :) Hang in there. You'll get back into the swing of things.

Deb- guess your nephew's MIL has never heard of a sonogram? HAHAHA. I know some people choose not find out the sex of the baby. I needed to know, lol. I did not want to wait 9 months. I am not patient when it comes to that stuff.

Belinda- nice job finishing your living room. It feels good when the job is all done. BWT- I think we posted at the same time yesterday ;).

Cookie- Internet down?

BBL,
Kristin

Good Morning:)

It's been quiet here:eek:. Yesterday I kept busy and the day flew by quickly. I worked out, cleaned the play room , my friend came by with her newborn and I went to my inlaws for dinner. Today I'm not sure what I'll do. My workout plans are legs and cardio....I would also like to dig out another room. Not sure if I said that in yesterday's post but my goal is to dig out a room whenever I can so packing will be easier when the time comes. There's a lot of crap here....and some crap that belongs to other people! I also housework needs to be done...I have lots to do, it's just a little harder to tackle with kids in the house. I hate it when I start cleaning and I have to stop.

Yesterday I did 20 mins on the tm, DWP & GS C&T. I canc certainly feel that I worked out. My tris were sore before I even started! And I dont know why. I didn't work anything on fri that even needed my tris for help!

I'm thinking about taking on some clients this Fall when DS goes to school. No more then 3-4 people. I think I need it for the social part of it and the extra money might be nice with Christmas around the corner but that wouldn't be my main reason.

Kristin** did DS have a good party? Kids really love bday parties. I can remember when they consisted of hot dogs and kool-aid....now we go all out and parties cost us a fortune. Around here it's almost as if one person is trying to out do the other. But that's the way it is with everything they do around here. I don't get caught up in that stuff and that's why the thought of moving is so appealing at times.

Have a good day everyone. I don't think I am going to waste much more time and I'm going to start the cleaning I spoke about. I may even tackle digging out a room now. It's only a small one so it shouldn't take me to long.

Lori:)

Morning girls,

I am still here:D just busy with DS coming today. They should be here in a few hours.

I did KPC on Friday and yesterday I did Pyramid LB.

Lori - good for you going through your stuff before the big day:D I always start month before, makes the move much easier.

Kirstin - how did your son reacted when he saw his fav. player? What a great idea!!

Debbie - it's better for DS to move in with us, this way he can figure things out....what he wants to do? I think he is ready for a change.

I will try to catch up tonight or tomorrow.

Morning ladies. The party was great yesterday. Everyone had a fun time and DS was truly surprised by having a real LI Duck stop by. I ate some bad food yesterday though. Well, tasty but not healthy, lol. Today I just finished STS TB. We are heading to the city to spend the day with Jessica and her family. Should be fun.

Lori- You sure were busy yesterday. I also hate to be in the middle of cleaning and have to stop.It is impossible to get through a real cleaning task without being interrupted these days.

Belinda- good job keeping up with your workouts. How are you liking Cathe's rotation? My son had a big smile from ear to ear when the player came. The player is one of the owners of the place we ahd the party at and my DH has become friendly with him through the little league coaching stuff. When the bleachers were stolen from the league's fields, this player donated new ones. He is a great guy.

Okay, I gotta go get ready. Enjoy the day everyone.

Kristin

Hi,

I was too busy this weekend, we did manager to go to dinner yesterday. Yesterday, I did Trisets total body express (thanks for the idea Amelia). Today I took DS & MIL foodshopping with me & forgot 1/2 of my stuff:confused: It was sad because my MIL hasn't seen DS in a couple of months & couldn't remember his name:( I also made my monthly sauce & it took up so much of my day.

Lori - You kept yourself really busy yesterday, hopefully it helped with the blues. It's a great idea to do some training in the fall. Are any of your old clients wanting to start up?

Belinda - Even though my DS moved out seems like he's here all the time:confused: My DS is also ready for a change.

Kristin - Wow, sound like a little boy's dream to see their favorite player? So how does one steal bleachers:confused: & why?

Cookie - How was your vacation?

Amelia - How was your weekend?

Goodnight:)

Good morning,

I will do Intesity today. Today we have to go to DC (IKEA) and buy a clothet for DS, Aleisa took over all the walk in clothets in the extra bedrooms. lol. She said, she isn't moving her her stuff. DS and DD loves our living room.

Kirstin - glad you had a blast this weekend and your son saw their fav player, this is some thing he alway will remember. I am like Cathe's rotation, it's a lot of fun. I ate lots of bad food this weekend too.

Debbie - sorry about your MIL (((HUG))) My husbands mom isn't doing so well either, she is in the hospital. I don't think, kids ever really move out, hah? LOL! We had lots of fun yesterday. My house is a mess right now, didn't relized how much crap he has. Him and I have to go through all this today.

Waving Hallo to everyone that follows today.

Good Morning:)

The girls are here again today. I wasn't watching them last week b/c they had French camp. I have them for 2 weeks, then they are going away and I'm going to go to my parents for that week before school starts. It's crazy to think that there's only 3 weeks before we are back into the swing of it...and DS is school:confused:....not sure how that's going to go over!

Yesterday's workout was 20 mins on the TM, tabata spin,GS legs standing work and Kari Anderson's abs. Today will be some kind of UB and cardio. It's rainging here today and suppose to be like this for the next couple of days. The kids might go crazy.

Beleinda** I'm guessing DS made it safe and sound. I'm not looking forward to packing....there are always those boxes with crap in it. Don't want to throw it out and don't want to keep it either.

Kristin** I bet DS had a awesome birthday. Its good that you could arrange that surprise for him!

Deb** the people I would train are mostly my old clients. One girl always takes the summers off (not to her advantage) and the other i will be kicking myself for taking her back:confused:. Shes kind of all over the place and bit of a head case. Nice lady though....lol

I will probably bbl b/c it's not tht great of a day here...we will probably be hanging around here all day

Lori:)

Quiet here today, huh? I just finished MMA Boxing. I was dragging all day from the long weekend. Not much new to report.

Lori- reading your post made me realize just how fast this summer is flying by. I report back to work on the 30th. Where did the time go? Things are always hectic here when school starts, but once the schedule settles in, everyone adjusts. I'm sure you'll find that too. The first week or two is a bit stressful though.

Belinda- Too funny about Alesia taking the closets, lol. Girls do need more closet space than boys. Glad you are enjoying Cathe's rotation.

Deb- Before spring season started, someone stole the bleachers. They stole the metal tops people sit on and sold them to a scrap metal company. Anyway, DH is now a director in the league and he contacted the local news. They ran the story and Ray, the LI Ducks player saw the story and donates $5000 to replace the bleachers. Another local company man donated another $5000 and so they were able to replace them. BTW, they caught the guy who did it. He lived behind the fields. Cops tracked him down by following the trial of nails and bleacher debris that lead to his backyard.:eek:

Waving hello to Cookie and Amelia!

Kristin

Hi,

Today I did Turbo barre. I spent the day deciding/planning a trip with DH for my birthday next month, think it's going to be New Orleans. Now I'll have to kick up the workouts:eek:

Belinda - I'm sure DS would be happy just using the floor as his closet, a closet is a smart decision;) Does DH's Mom live in the states?

Lori - I think your clients will keep your mind off of DH for sure! After some tears DS will love school. Nice mix of workouts.

Kristin - That is some story but with a real happy ending. Too funny about the nail trail . . . he made their job real easy.

Cookie - DD must be happy that US & China were in 1st & 2nd places for the metals.

Goodnight:)

Good Morning:)

Should have went to bed earlier then I did last night:confused:. DD actually stayed home and she wanted me to watch tv with her...I fell asleep twice on the couch before she allowed me to go to bed:rolleyes:. I knew the baby was gonna wake early cause he went to sleep before 8.

Yesterday's workout was GS & HR UB, everything except chest and yesterday evening I went for a 10 k run. Today I think I'm gonna do chest and a leg/tm circuit. I'm up early enough to start before the girls arrive. DS hasn't been to soccer in ages and I think it's suppose to rain today. I'm gonna feel it out...maybe we will go today.

Kristin** getting into the school swing of things may be a challenge...and homework! DS isn't one to sit down. I was noticing yesterday that his sentences are getting even longer. Sometimes I feel as if he is the only child in his situation (whatever that is...he's never been diagnosed with anything but I wouldnt rule out ADD) but then I hear about kids who don't even know how to spell their own name...we've mastered that. He's just not one for sitting and working on his own and he hates coloring....should be interesting!

Deb** have fun planning your bday get away:). And now you have to workout even harder;). DH and I had a bet made to see who could be in the better shape by the time he returned. He told me while I was there that he didn't realize I was taking it so seriously! I guess he could see a difference b/c I had shededd the rest of the baby weight after he left. Now I just have to build more muscle.

I will bbl!
Lori:)

Morning girls,

I did Intensity yesterday,, just didn't had time to post it, sorry!! My son is keeping me busy, lol We ended up driving to IKEA, bought few things for DS. Well lets say we didn't get back until almost 9 pm last night, I was beat.

This morning I will do
Trisets UB + CM#2.

Lori - good for you getting some sleep, I always fall asleep watching TV. LOL! I think a lot of doctors diagnose kids with ADD, your son is young. My son, couldn't sit still. One off his teacher in Germany told us he will never read, we made a deal with my son (1st grade) that we will buy this books, up to this day we pay for his books...which cost us over $50 a month. He read 500 pages novels in 1 grade. My son was so lazy and he was bored in school. He didn't didn't wanted to read school stuff, he wanted to read the Holy Grail...he read that one in 1st Grade! About the not throwing things out, I dragged stuff around for years because I always thought I needed it someday.. Guess what? I am throwing it out now. Why hang on to things, not to mention it cost to move your stuff. Lern from me...get rid of it now....lol.

Debbie - New Orleans sounds like a great place to be on your bday. Good job on TB. That's funny my son using the floors for his closet, that's excatly what he is doing right now. And it's driving me nuts!

Kirstin - Aleisa not only took over 2 walk in closets, in one of the closet the shelf come down...because she has so much cloth. LOL! My son has a lot of cloth too. LOL! Good job on MMA Boxing. I am dragging since last week, lol.

I think, I am all caught up on personals. I will stay home today. I will report my workout later.

Hi everyone. Just finished IMAX 2. I haven't done this one in a long time. I cannot remember the last time I did it. Anyway, I am dripping with sweat now. My younger DS is still asleep, so I am going to take advantage and jump in the shower. Then I am going to go through my lesson plans for September. I am adding new stories to the first unit and taking one or two out. I cannot believe we are in mid-August. It is supposed to rain today, but nothing so far. I am not in the mood to do anything outdoors, so I am hoping it rains.

Belinda- too funny about the shelf coming down. That is the one thing I wish I had. . . more closet space. We have a decent size closet in the bedroom, but our kids' room doesn't have a closet, so I gave my side of the closet to the boys and now I put my clothes in the living room closet (along with everyone's coats) and my barbell and weights ;).

Lori- I wouldn't worry too much about it. I have had students where the parents came in thinking they would hear horror stories and the child behaved well and did everything he/she was supposed to do. Of course, the reverse is true as well, hahahaha. Anyway, he might surprise you. My younger DS is a handful. . . and a wise-guy. I warned his preschool teacher ahead of time and she always told me he was fine. Meanwhile at home, he can be a terror. He loves, loves, loves to tease his brother and he loves to test the rules/restrictions at home, but not at preschool.

Deb- We laughed about the nail trail when it happened. What a dummy! A lot of good came out of it though. The league teamed up with the LI Ducks for tickets and Ray (the player) and DH became acquaintances and so that is how he ended up at DS birthday party.

Okay, I will bbl
Kristin

Hi everyone.

Trisets UB + CM #2 is done!

Kirstin - moms always share their stuff with their little kids:) LOL, my husband had the crazy idea to put my sons cloth in our closet??? First my son is messy, he throws his cloth on the floor...my cloth are neat/organized in my closet. I was like HELL NO! I don't mind spending $$ on a clothet just for my son, lol. And I will keep my sanity.

Where is Cookie?

Waving Hallo to everyone that follows. I need to make a run to Costco. BBL!

Hey girls, its been a busy couple of days:confused:

We did end up going to that new park the other day (and just about every day after:) )I love all the trails, so pretty. Its still under construction so every time we go there is something new. So far we have walked the 2mile paved trail and about 5 miles out of 7 of the hiking trails, there's a little river that flows through the park and the kids went wading in it. It was fun...and its only 7 mins down the road:eek: im so excited LOL

So I went to a podiatrist today because my right foot has been killing me when I walk and as I suspected I have plantar fascittis:mad:. I have to take it easy for a couple of weeks:( He suggested that I get some really good shoes and inserts and do less strenuous cardio so my plan is to go to my moms gym and use a spin bike there...for free;)

anyways...

Belinda-Im sipping my coffee and I almost spit it out Laughing out loud at you!:p So Im assuming your DS's clothes isn't going in your closet anytime soon:D I would be like "Hell No" too;)

Kristin-Awesome job with Imax 2. I know what you mean about it being mid-august all ready..time seems to fly these days. I can remember being younger and it seemed to be at a stand still. And speaking of rain...it has been raining here on and off for about a week now..ugh, its enough all ready.

Lori-Nice workout girl...did your DS's soccer game get rained out?

Deb-New Orleans sounds nice. Nice job with Turbo bar yesterday

Cookie-how was your weekend?

Have a good night:)

'Evening!
Deb, wow, that's the way to celebrate a birthday! You're going to love New Orleans. Have you ever been there before?
Belinda, I have no idea why we even bothered putting carpeting down in our sons's rooms, other than for deading some of their sounds. Their clothes were always all over their rooms. Matter of fact, last time I saw youngest's apartment, they were all over the floor there too. After coming home to the redone floors, I'm getting rid of even more things. I like how clear and uncluttered things are.
Kristin, can't believe the start of school is so soon. A colleague's husband told her he didn't care for how she gets in September. Guess the stress of a new year and everything at the pace of a fast roller coaster causes her to get grumpy. I just find I'm exhausted the whole month. What about you?
Amelia, that park is wonderful. You sure have been busy. Do you do any cake decorating on the side?
Lori, hard to believe your ds is going to school. The time sure does go fast. Does he enjoy choosing his school supplies?
Had a great time at the Outer Banks but wish it could have been longer.
Cookie

Hi,

Today I took a spin class. A girl walked in late for the class & it was real dark, talking on her cell phone then using the flashlight to set-up her bike which was pretty bright, she also had words with the man sitting next to her because he was not happy. I'm surprised their aren't signs about cell phone use in class because there are a lot of people reading texts & in the dark room they light up. I was laughing to myself thinking if Cathe needed to address that in her cycle DVD what has the world come to:eek:

Lori - Too funny about DH thinking you weren't serious about the challenge . . . I don't think I would ever challenge you LOL.

Belinda - At any given time you can find my DS's clothes around the house, & my DH said he even has a stash in his office at work:) Now that DS is home you'll probably be running to Costco alot;)

Kristin - A rainy day is great excuse for not having to run around as much. The youngest child always seems to have the most energy in the family.

Amelia - Your new park sounds like a great way to get in exercise & have fun with the kids.

Cookie - I went to New Orleans over 25 years ago with my 1st job, so I don't really remember much & I'm sure after Hurricane Katrina a lot has changed. Do you like how your floors came out?

Goodnight:)

Good Morning:)

Yesterday's workout was GS and HR chest, HR abs, and a circuit using the TM and LM. I'm not sure what today will be. DD decided to sign herself up for gymnastics yesterday so I have to drop her off at 9, pick her up at 11 and then she has work at 12...so she's fooling up my workout schedule. I could always wait for this afternoon to workout as well.

Belinda** yeah....I don't think DS Willie reading novels just yet...lol. We've been working on some things the last few days and he does catch on quickly but he as his mind made up that things are to hard and that he can't do it. I'm sure he won't be the only one.

Deb** my lord....if I had to go workout, cause a fuss and argue with the man next to me I would just stay home!

Ameila** sorry to hear about your foot issue!! Hopefully you will be back to cathe in no time. Don't underestimate that spin bike either! Those bikes are tough. I always work up a good sweat.

Kristin** sounds like you had a good workout yesterday. I think I did IMAX 2...or maybe it was 3 not that long ago...yeah I think it was 3....where is imax2? Lol. When I use to do imax1 years ago, I use to think that I burned a cagillion cals and that I could eat whatever I wanted. I thought that workout was the toughest workout ever! I'd like to try it now just to see if id still think the same.

Cookie** you've been MIA, glad to hear you had a good time. We picked out supplies yesterday and he seemed to enjoy it. I still have to get more. I'm so out of the loop with what kids need for school.

I have decided to go home this weekend so that will be nice. Also no real plans for the day. It's raining again so catches are we won't be going far.

Must go feed the baby!

Lori:)

Hi everyone,

I will do HiiT 30/30 + CM #3 today.

Lori - I know your son will not read novels yet, at this age! LOL! My point was you will be suprised once he is a little older, you never know!! That Circuit using the TM + LM looks intense. I always wanted to do something similar..but never got around. One day, I will do it. wTG yesterday.

Debbie - is your son related to my son (about the cloth)??? LOL! Everthing with him ends up on the floors, lol. This is something I have to work on him. Don't get me started on Costco???

Amelia - your park sounds amazing. This weekend we are going hiking near by, don't have a clue where it is? lOL! I am glad you getting a good laugh out of this, you wait until your son gets older! LOL!

Cookie - what's wrong with your sons??? My son said on Sunday...I love this house. I said....than keep it clean, lol. In his bathroom, I couldn't see the floor...cloth all over!! He just moved in??? I put a laundry basket in....let's see if his cloth finds its way in there??? Glad you had fun at the Outer Banks!

Hi to everyone that follows.

I will be back later, not sure when?
Happy Hump Day!

Crazy weather today and last night (well, early morning). I woke up at 2 a.m. to the sound of roaring thunder. It was so loud, I felt the house shaking with the vibrations. Of course, that only meant one thing. The boys woke up terrified. So we all snuggled tightly in our full size bed (I have been wanting to get a queen for years, lol). That storm lasted for a good two hours. Everyone finally fell back asleep. Then this morning around 10, the sun disappeared and the sky got black and we got hit with another crazy storm. Mind you my house is tiny. I was trying to straighten up the bedrooms and my boys were begging me to stay with them in the living room. I had to cave, lol.

Anyway. . . we were supposed to go to the beach with some friends this evening. It looks like another storm is coming though :(. We shall see. It is sad to me that I have only been to the beach TWICE all summer. I mean, I live on an ISLAND for crying out loud!!!!

Belinda- so now that you said not to get you started on Costco. . . what did you buy? LOL. ;)

Lori- IMAX 2 used to be so hard for me. . . it is still a tough workout, but I find it easier to get through these days. IMAX 3 is very tough for me and I haven't done it in a few months. I have it on tap for next week, so we shall see.

Deb- Ugh about the girl with the cell phone in spin class. Spinning in the dark. . . sounds a lot like SOULcycle. I haven't been there in over a year. Jessica still goes. It is amazing to me how incosiderate people are. It seems to me that considerate people are a minority, which is getting smaller every minute. What is the deal?

Cookie- That is too funny about your colleague's husband. . . mine says the same thing. As a matter of fact, we bicker a lot the first two weeks of school. I am already getting a bit tense, and I can tell he is feeling the build up, lol. Back to school is always exciting and stressful all in one. I don't think anyone can understand. I still don't sleep the night before the first day back, lol.

Amelia- summer did seem longer when I was younger. I saw Halloween decorations up at the supermarket yesterday. WTH!!!! At this rate I will be seeing Christmas decorations in September. Geez. . .

Okay, I will bbl,

Kristin
