Morning,

Today I will do STS Disc #23 (Legs Tri-Sets).

Iris - maybe you need more iron in your diet?

Helene - hope you had fun with BM2 bootcamp.

Melissa - I say go for it! GS are great weight workouts, love the premixes too. My DH is in the US
Army, we are stationed in Grafenwoehr, Germany. My son and doughter are in collage in the states. That mekes it tough. Miss them alot.

Kirsten - have fun at the beach. Nice job on GS chest & triceps + IMAX2 yesterday.

Debbie - good job on that walk yesterday. Before you know it, you will be lifting again. I agree, DC seem to be the place to be, lol! My son can't decite where to go either? We been asking him, what places he wants to go?

Lori - nicely done on that 12 miler yesterday.

Trish - what are you up too?

Amelia - good job, on that power walk and 4DS legs.

Cookie - hope you having fun.

Good Morning!

Up to get ready for work and trying to decide if I wanna workout or not. I am thinking about doing hill repeats later today. The hill I run is closer to work then it is home so I could leave from work, run back and get my jeep and then pick DS up. Which means I kind of need to get to work early so I can leave early:confused:

We went out for wings and a drink last night. It was nice and I don't think I ate to much but thats another reason why I feel the need to workout after eating icky stuff. OR I could just get on the TM now for a fast 30 mins run....Oh dear...what to do,what to do?;)

I will come back later and catch up on personals!

Hallo girls,

I am done with my workout.

It was 3 rounds of each Triset, with a 1 minute restl

TRISET #1:
Leg Press - 25#/10 reps each leg
Wall Squats - 15#/10 reps
One-Leg Slide Back Lunges - 20#/10 reps


TRISET #2:
Leg Curls instead of Elevated Deadlifts - 35,40,40 #/10 reps
Side-Slide Lunges - 20#/10 reps each leg
Narrow Stance Squats - 80/10 reps

TRISET #3:
45 Degree Lunge - 23/10 reps each leg
Plie Squats Alternating Hand - 33#/10 reps
Low Plane Lunges - 18/10 reps each leg

CALF WORK:

3 sets/20 reps

I also did the stretch from PS legs.

I still have to work my abs, will do that later! BBL
 
Good Morning Ladies

Today I will do (hopefully) Push/Pull UB premix, but it's longer. I might just do PUB again......I got a lot to do this morning..... pack, clean a bit, work. :confused:.headed back down to Jersey this afternoon...taking a step class tomorrow morning. :D It's just a bit of a drive!!
Soccer was brutal. We were going down left and right.........broken glasses, black eyes, my cousin took a ball to the head, twisted ankles, etc etc. Thank god I only had one fall and took a ball to the stomach. *sigh* My back isnt' so hot today, wondering if I should lift at all!

Belinda- LOL @ you doing STS for 2 months....where in the h*ll have I been??? I dont' know what I'm deficient in.........haven't had blood work done in almost 3 years, my new doc didn't make me go because of the stellar results of last time. But I'm re-thinking......I need to chill out about being needle phobic, suck it up and get it done.

Lori- I dont' know what you're doing right now, but you're doing something! ;) I love chicken wings......especially garlic parm! MMM.....but I never have them anymore. :( Getting to the exploding point at work is no fun.

Amelia- Nice workout! I'll be pulling 4DS Legs out at some point.

Helene- How'd Bootcamp go?? And 3 hours for a meeting?? Do these people not have lives, family, children, workouts to do? :eek:

Melissa- Yummmmy dessert! LOL, isn't it fun to watch your mother get tipsy on wine?? Hehe. And yeah, I was leanign towards stress making me groggy......but I'd like to blame it on something else! Because yes, I've been feeling like this most days, lately, whether I get 4 hours or 9 hours of sleep. :confused: And it's usually a morning thing....once I get going I'm ok, but I dont' last well into the evening either......kinda brain deadish and dont get much accomplished. Ohhhh, and that's a YES on Gym Styles!!

Deb- Well how'd your first day back to work, go?? Was it like you never left? So happy you can walk on the TM at least. lol @ Lori's sneakers having diamond studs. And yeah, I love soccer! It doesn't love me.......................:confused:

Ok I think that catches me up?? I'll be on the road all afternoon, but I have a couple tours scheduled at the gym, definitely gonna get some design done (hopefully) before i go. It's nice when the gym is slow, I can do some right there.......... I might check back in tonight when I get to the hotel! Have a great day ladies!

Today im doing 4ds Chest,shoulders,triceps & Core plus a step dvd, not sure which one yet. I guess im not following that rotation anymore:confused:

Ds woke up in a bad mood this morning, nothing satisfied him, he got upset twice over silly stuff. Just one of those off mornings i guess. At least i was able to hug them before sending them off to school

Belinda-Nice workout this morning.

Iris-Have a safe trip and good workout, hope your back feels better.

Lori-Have a good workout! From yesterday...its the caffeine in coffee that im concerned about, I've noticed on days i have an afternoon coffee i will have nasty cravings later that evening. Of course it could all be in my head :rolleyes:

Morning Ladies,

Just a quick check in. We will be leaving in 30 mins for the airport and I still haven't showered:eek:. Missed my wo this morninng because I was up until after 3:00 packing (typical:rolleyes:). Yesterday's wo was GS BSB and I have a little shoulder DOMs going on this morning. Changed the battery on my scale this morning and was down 2 pounds...Hopefully I won't gain too much during the trip.

Ok, gotta run and shower. Will check in when I can.
 
Hi all! I have some major DOMs going on in my chest :D. Gotta love Gym Styles. Today I am doing GS Back, Shoulders, Biceps, plus throwing in some ab work. Haven't decided if I am doing the core premix from the original Bootcamp or stability ball abs add-on from Butts and Guts. We are now three days away from our family vacation to Myrtle Beach and I have packed absolutely nothing! To make matters worse, I need to do the laundry in order to pack, lol. I HATE laundry. I wish I had a laundry genie.

Belinda- Awesome workout! I so want STS for Christmas! I didn't realize you were in Germany. I cannot imagine how hard it would be to be there with your kids in the states. Do you get to be a tourist at times and explore?

Lori- Have fun doing your workout today, whatever you decide. I love me some wings. the hotter, the better, lol. Once in Lake George, I ordered the hottest wings ever. My lips were on fire for two days. I just drank water all day. If I could have hooked my mouth up to a fire hydrant, I would have!

Iris- Are you taking a Cathe step class? I just saw Jersey and touring the gym and I assumed. . . That is cool if you are. I am still having RT withdrawals. Hoping to go again next year. Have fun!

Amelia- Have a good workout. I cannot seem to follow a rotation myself. I make my own and then I change my mind all the time!

Trish- that's the w/o I am doing today. Have fun on your trip. I'll probably be packing the night before our vaca too. i just don't have the motivation, lol.
 
Good morning ladies!! :D

Is it Friday yet?! UGH, I am getting so stressed out at work and I loathe my job SO much it's not even funny. First off, they tell me they won't get me an upgrade to the software I need because they don't want to pay for the licensing, which makes a simple job take double (sometimes triple) the amount of time it should to finish it! Then my mgr is making mistakes all over the place and I nicely say "Hey, maybe we should change this" or "I think we should've done this instead" (notice how I take the diplomatic "we" approach), and she gets all mad and is like "no just leave it." I am so over this place!!!!!! OK, enough complaining....:p

Last night I did 4DS Bootcamp/Kickbox premix...WOW. That is one tough workout!! I was dripping when I was done. It felt like I burned way more than 500 cals!! Also ate really clean yesterday, woohoo!! Dinner was so good: grilled lobster tail, grilled tuna, and grilled veggies. I'm having leftovers for lunch :) Tonight's workout is gonna be 4DS back & bi's + abs + SJP Hi/Lo premix.

Oh and I am totally getting the GS DVDs once I get paid tomorrow. Thanks for all the input!!

Belinda, great job on STS!!! The trisets are my favorite. For some reason, I find those workouts go by really quickly, despite them being insanely challenging. Wow, that must be tough with you guys being in Europe and DS/DD in the states. I can't imagine being so far from home.

Helene, what is the BM2 bootcamp like? I've never done that premix before. I want to get an updated compendium w all Cathe's workouts but the latest one I have is Fit Fig's from 2008! Maybe that will be my winter project ;)

Kristin, you guys are going to love Myrtle Beach! There is so much stuff to do!! They have tons of mini golf, the boardwalk w/ an arcade, a Ripley's, and a small amusement park all within walking distance, the aquarium....I am so jealous!! Btw I wanted to ask you, did/do you count calories or do you just aim to eat clean?

I love me some wings. the hotter, the better, lol. Once in Lake George, I ordered the hottest wings ever. My lips were on fire for two days. I just drank water all day. If I could have hooked my mouth up to a fire hydrant, I would have!

LMAO!!!!! I just spit tea all over my computer!!!!!!

One night we went to Buffalo Wild Wings and I wanted to be a big shot so I ordered some Habanero wings that had the 3rd hottest sauce on the menu. NOT a good idea! My lips were on fire and they blew up! It looked like I just got lip injections!! I was crying and sweating....in the middle of January! Everyone was laughing at me, including my BF; well he got his when he leaned in for a kiss and once his lips touched mine his were on fire too.

Belinda: Bootcamp was fun. First time I have enjoyed the arm section of BM2 actually. Have you ever done the first BM. I still have so many workouts I have but haven't tried yet. Oh, and nice workout :eek:

Iris: Too funny on the wings. You should go out with FIL. The hotter the better as far as he is concerned. Are ya coming over tomorrow night? Let me know so that I can plan workout either in the morning or evening. I have to get more beer. Not saying you drink or anything :rolleyes: And what is it you are playing? Did you sign up for contact soccer without knowing :confused: ?

Melissa: I like GS but I like STS even better. Oooh, I got a buffalo wild wings opening right next to me soon. I am so excited. Used to go there when we lived in the midwest. Your diplomacy at work is good. Too bad it is falling on deaf ears :confused: You got a plan though, and THAT they don't know :) Nice job on the 4DS premix. I love that one too.

Kristin: Mirtle beach sounds like so much fun. It's going to be awesome! I love going on vacation with the kids because I like to be a kid too :) I also leave the packing/laundry to the last minute :eek:

Trish: Enjoy your vacation and your family. Hey, for two pounds, I'll change the battery in my scale too. LOL.

Deb: How did yesterday go for you with going back to work?

Amelia: I have been wanting to quit coffee for a while. Maybe we could do it together? Only for a month I think. I like the taste too much. But ideally I would only go back to one cup a day. But it's a serious addiction for me. At least I don't put anything in it so there's always that. Hope DS works it out of his system by the time he makes it home from school.

Cookie: Ahhhh, vacation must be so sweet :)

Long day today, and I injured myself getting off the couch. That's right, lazy injury coming right up. I was browsing with coffee this morning. Then got up to have another cup and pulled something. Not sure what. I think it might be my rhomboid (maybe trapeze) in the back on the left. Pain travels up to the back of my neck. Hurts to turn my head too much, or when I try to press the back of my head again the back of the couch. So..... no workout this AM and two aleves later I'm at work. :confused:

I also need my head examined. I keep thinking of that wo Trish posted with LM and leg work in the middle. It looks so painful that I want to do it :eek:

Long day for me today ...... ugh, probably won't get home from work until midnight. wish me luck.
 
Workout done, 4ds chest,shoulders & triceps, then premix #1 Imax2 then 25mins of Rodney yee power yoga. 1:28mins total and burned 620 cals. Now its time for some laundry then some relaxing before the kiddies get home.

Hi girls,

I felt surprisingly good at work yesterday, my in-laws & Mom think I'm nuts but I really think I waited the right amount of time:) I'm sure the Starbuck's helped too:D We aren't getting any big shipments in this month so it's really not bad at all. I clocked in 12,000 steps yesterday. I only walked 30 min. again today because need energy for work:) leaving in a few.

Belinda - Great job with the weights . . . you amaze us all the time:)

Lori - So what did you decide, too bad you couldn't run on your lunchtime.

Iris - Are you going solo to Cathe's? Are you hooking up with the pilates instructor this time? Have fun:)

Trish - I always swear the next time I'll be packed a week in advance never happens end up burning the midnight oil everytime;) Enjoy:)

Helene - It stinks when we get hurt and it doesn't happen during exercise:( Ugh, you have another late night, don't they realize it's summer.

Kristin - I often wish I could pack a few pieces and mix & match like the magazines say but that never happens:)

I had to take my dog Browler to the vet this everning, he acted very weird/ all day long. Like he was in pain every time I touched him:confused: the vet gave him a cordizone shot, he got stung by a bee in this face:mad: poor baby!

Iris - LOL, I don't know? You had a lot going on. Why are you afraid of needles? LOL, about the scoccer! That's funny. Have fun in Jersey.

I am German, so this is home for me, just miss my kids so much. That's funny about the hot wings! ROFLMAO!

Melissa - aww.... about your job! (((HUGS))) I didn't liked the trisets the first time around, lol I Yeah, it's tough been so far away from my kids. In May DH and I visit the kids. We also fly them to Germany as much as we can. I talk to the kids every day on the phone.

Helene - I have all Cathe's DVD's except the Classics! I almost odered them last week, lol! I love BM! After I am done with STS, I will play around with Cathe's other DVD's. Hope you get home from work soon.

Cookie - you must having a great time. Enjoy! You deserve it.

Hey Girls

Quick check in before I head home. I would have checked in earlier but my manager decided that he was going to stick around all day!:mad: Probably b/c he wanted to leave early but there is nothing going on here...he could have went home for his lunch. Ugh!

I ended up getting on the TM after. I did 4 miles in 35 mins and then I did MM shoul, tris and bics. I was hoping to get my long run in tomorrow morning but I will have to play it by ear b/c DS has a speech apt @ 1.

Belinda** Poor dog! Charlie was acting weird the other day as well but whatever it was, he got over. He likes to eat sticks but he doesn't realize that what goes in, must come out!:rolleyes: Nice workout today!

Ameila** I think we all have our bad mornings...kiddies included and imagine, they can't have coffee to cheer them up. Well, my DS can...I don't know about anyone elses! LOL His is mostly water and milk...little bit of coffee to make it brown. Interesting about the coffee and cravings...you never know my dear, you never know!

Iris** Does soccer really have to be that rough? One of my friends use to be a maniac when we were in school, she would kick that ball so hard it would take your head off. And the more we laughed at her, the worse she was. Hopefully you won't be to tired after your long day.

Helene** Ugh! Sorry to hear you aren't feeling up to snuff! Hopefully whatever it is will pass quickly. Somedays are better then others re: running. Today it didn't bother me at all, or yesterday but on Tues I wasn't feeling it at all.

Kristin** Thats to funny about the wings! You girls crack me up! I don't like spicy stuff so no worries there. DH ordered med last night but I could eat them just fine, I think they were mild. I don't care about doing laundry but I hate packing it away!

Melissa** Well...I am willing to bet that you and I could have some great conversations about work! I have to really try and be nice here most days but I think the "*itch* in me is shining through though...mostly when I ignore people. My manager will leave for about 10 mins, and then call to see whats new? Seriously?! Nothing is new...thats whats new...N-O-T-H-I-N-G!!!! Maybe I peed...that could be new I suppose:rolleyes: Can you sense the pms monster is right around the corner?

Lori - not sure what's wrong with Browler, he is still acting a little weird. Hope whatever it is, will go away. Nice job on your run and MM today. What's wrong with your boss hanging around:p:p you are so funny!
