COMMIT TO GET FIT & LEAN FOR APRIL 4, 2011

Good Morning,

I fell asleep with DS last night and then I had trouble getting back to sleep in my own bed, although I feel o.k. I had to get up at 6:15 for a workout with a client. She still isn't here but is in route.

My workout yesterday was kind of a mish mosh...I did CM#2 abs, PH abs, 20 mins on the TM, 5 mins on the bike, PH legs, 10 mins on the TM, 5 mins on the bike and the MM legs.

The new shorts I may or may not have bought were pretty good yesterday, not idea for running though and I think I could have used a smaller size. Im not sure what I will do today. Its suppose to be sunny this afternoon so I would like to run outside but I also need to buckle down and do some reading. If I could get some done this morning I could swing it but DS will be home.

Lets see how far I can get with personals before my client gets here.

Belinda** Hope you are feeling better today. You still got a good workout in yesterday regardless of your belly ache! I had sinus issues all day yesterday....not sure what was up with that!

Helene** I feel like that sometimes. I get so behind on personals that I wonder what is the use? Esp if no one bothers reading it. Don't worry about it.

Trish** What did you decide on the rotation after?? Id say do some nice long workouts from now until you leave...like me:p

Deb** I love it when someone else is around to help me eat the junk in my house. We had friends over for dinner last night and I made them take 1/4 of the cake I baked. Feels good to have it out of the house!

Melissa** Ah.....another one who feels like me sometimes! I bet you feel better today. Its nice to have fun with your friends sometimes! I plan on having alot of fun in a 11 days time when that plane takes off.

Kristin** I have spent all I am going to spend before this vaca. Its hard dishing out money on things like that sometimes. I bought mostly clothes though. I need to take out all of my summers things and see what I have...I don't even know where my sandals are!

O.k...I will def bbl! Hope I didn't miss anyone...but I probably did!

Morning all! First week of April, I thought we'd never get here, lol. THis is my last week of STS. Not sure if I will do a workout today, being as though we have our first practice today after work. I have a feeling practice with 12 10 year olds will be exhausting. Can I count that as my workout?

Lori- I am just so cheap. I am having my friend look at my laptop today. I think it is the computer jack and not the cord because I have gone through two now. DH says if it is, then more than likely the motherboard has to be replaced, which is not worth the money. UGH! We shall see.

Belinda- MEso 3 for you too? You are almost there too!! ;)

Good Morning Ladies

I'm not sure what I will do today....:eek: I slept for 9 hours...and am still tired!! All of my appointments are this afternoon and tonight. I should take advantage of having the morning, even though I shouldn't get to work too late....

Yesterday's workout wasn't too terribly long...did a full body circuit, functional kind of thing from CSF, and added some of my own stuff. Plyo moves, core,Push Ups,etc etc. Burpees, Jumping jacks (tons of them lol), etc

I am definitely lacking direction lately.....just burnt out I guess. :confused:

Belinda- Have a great workout! Dang your'e almost done with STS!

Lori- Nice workout yesterday! I get it all the time people asking for advice and not using it....or even trying to apply it...:rolleyes:

Kristin- You're on the home stretch of STS too! Very cool. Good luck at your first practice today! I bet it will be exhausting...lol ;) Oh,and I do small group boot camps...3 or 4 people. There's no room for even me...lol

Trish- Where are you going on vacation?? I am definitely counting the days, as you can tell on fb!! :D So, no "real" work has to be done at the dance studio. They already have the flooring AND the mirrors....love it!

Helene- lmaoooo@ being a "D"....omg no! I figured you got involved with DH, honestly....:eek: I shoulda called...:( How are you feeling??

Melissa- LOL...yep that's exactly what people say. "You're going on vacation to work out????"...hehe. So, I applied for a part time summer position through a modeling agency (they're looking for all shapes and sizes apparently...meaning I'm smurf :eek:) to serve drinks at functions (probably through track season in Saratoga I'm GUESSING). Experience was a plus (which I def have), and they wanted recent pics. Sooooo.....We'll see!! I thought of you, because I know you love it!

Deb- Glad you had fun the other night!!! No, there are no "D's fighting....LOL!! Prolly because none know about the others...ha! :eek:

Morning ladies,

Never made it back to check in, but I did get my wo in:D. So, I decided to choose a week from some of my fav rotations until I leave. So, this week is from Muscle Building & Staying Lean 2004 (FF of course). Yesterday I did GS (drop-set push ups), PUB & MM chest work. Today was PUB, MM Tris + PUB, MM Bis. I think after I get back from vacay I will jump on a Get Ready for Summer rotation.

Belinda - You must have been sending me telepathic messages - great idea on doing a portion of a rotation. Oh, and I agree, great wo yesterday - belly ache or not. Hope you're feeling better.

Lori - Ummmm, I don't think I'll be joining you on those loooong wos! Helene teased me about the rotation I made up for last month. IT WAS LONG & TOUGH! She thought I was turning into you:) I don't think I could keep up. You have amazing stamina to do those wos with all the other stuff you've got going on.

Kristin - Wow, you're finishing STS!! This is your first time through, right? Going to be posting an STS success story:cool:? Have fun wtih the kiddies today:eek:

Iris - Oh, then that's a no brainer. I hope the guys get it all worked out. I'm headed to ATL...remember:p The girls will be hanging out with my mom and I just want to put my feet up and CHILL! I'm trying my best not to call out sick before we go. Lacking direction...how about starting an FF rotation? I always get back on track that way.

Helene - LOL @ you reading the posts:) I've been too lazy even to lurk:eek: How was the pool?

Melissa - How are you feeling today? Did you try the p90x yoga yesterday? My co-worker has been trying to get me to do it for months. I've only tried ab ripper so far..which was pretty challenging. I'm headed to the dirty south - ATL.

Deb - Sounds like a fun girl's weekend! Where are you guys headed for vacay?

Amelia - I'm dieing to hear how those 4AM donuts turned out:eek:

Hello to everyone. Just a quick check in for me, then I will try and pop back in later for some personals. I just got off work, well around 11:30 and i had to be at work at 4am. I had to make donuts! Seriously...got up at 2:45 in the morning to go make frickin greasy donuts:eek:.LOL, anyways. I think I did pretty good for the first time. I was told by a co-worker that its the hardest job there and i believe it now:confused:

so besides that, nothing going on. Did some chalean yesterday, forget which:eek: one but im following her rotation. Today is suppose to be a cardio but were getting ready to go hiking. Its 70 something degree's outside.

Hi ladies!!

Never did get a WO in yesterday. All that partying caught up to me and I was exhausted. I made up for it today though with STS Disc 22, Med Ball Abs from Ab Circuits, and ran 3.5 miles. My time is now down from 40 min to 30min!!

Registration for fall semester is next week and I needed to take a placement test for anatomy & physio. I actually placed above the intro classes so I can skip them, woohoo!! Not really sure how that happened since I've never taken anatomy or physio but I am happy :)

Belinda, I am so excited about Cathe's new series!!! I love the high impact stuff but can use a good low impact routine!! I can't wait for them to come out :)

Lori, how is the studying coming along? Did you sign up for a test date yet?

Kristin, have fun at practice tonight! I say if you run around the bases a few times then there is your WO ;)

Iris, lol yes that is what my liquor job is!!!!! It's technically a promo model job. My 1st "interview" was sending a head shot and a body shot and then 2nd "interview" was I guess making sure I have a pulse LOL. You will love it! It's such a fun job :) Will you be doing events at stores and stuff too?

Trish, I love the GRfS rotations! They are so much fun. I miss PUB; I already have it on the list of things to do when I'm done with STS ;) I dunno about P90X; Tony Horton really gets on my nerves BUT I can't believe that man is 45 years old. Talk about being in amazing shape :eek:

Amelia, what time do you go to bed to get up so early?? That is nuts!
 
Hey Girls,

Its been pretty quiet here today! Im surprised.

Today's workout was 4DS and MM chest, back and shoulders. Im not 100% sure if I am gonna be sore tomorrow. I could easily up the weights in 4DS chest but I don't have the DB's for it. I guess I could have used the BB. And I think b/c some moves only have one set, is what makes it easier. By the time I finished all of the pushups in MM, I was burning though...so we shall see. After lunch I went for a nice hour long run outside. It was kinda cold and I wish I had taken my mits after but I survived.

I also did 2 hours of reading this morning! I was impressed with myself. I really need to make it a priority! I have a feeling that I won't be seeing my client tomorrow morning so I am thinking about getting up at 6:30 anyway, and reading for a while. If I read from 6:30-8:30 , take a break , do some housework and workout, then read again in the afternoon I could get a lot of material covered.

Kristin** I think dealing with kids is mentally exhausting and it must count for some kind of workout! Ive went to bed mentally tired tons of times!

Trish** I should look into what kind of rotation to do next. I have just been doing my own thing but adding more shoulder work. I am liking the results though. Who knows...maybe I will just keep doing what Im doing.

Ameila** Yum...donuts! LOL My mom use to make the best donuts but she hasn't done it in a long time. She use to get together with friends and make a day of it. Must have been a lot of work. As long as you didn't eat any...that's all that matters!:D

Melissa** That was pretty funny when you said that you never took anatomy...lol I guess I answered your question with your above post. I just need to open the books more and get crackin. I will set a date for the exam when I am closer to being done. Who knew that working and doing an online course could be so difficult:rolleyes:

I think that catches me up with personals. DH took DS for a drive so I thought it was a good time to catch up!

DS's gf is over again and was just talking to me while I was trying to read personals but the weird thing is I didn't get Cathe's newsletter today:confused: a new series I will have to check this out . . . thanks!!

Today I finally got a seat in spin and it was so hot everyone was complaining. I've been so tired the last couple of days even with the new vitamins.

Belinda - Can't believe your almost finished with STS, I start M3 tomorrow.

Lori - You did a lot of reading & working out today:) you should sleep really good tonight.

Iris - Hopefully you sent your competition pics in for the job.

Kristin - For some reason I thought they were 5 year olds, 10 year olds should be better.

Trish - It's great you'll have your Mom around both her and the girls will love it and hopefully you will get much needed downtime. We're going to go to Florida hopefully in May.

Amelia - I wish I could see how the donuts were made this way I wouldn't ever want one again:)

Melissa - Great job with not having to take the intro classes! In the boys school they had to take them, pay for them & you get no credit for them.

Helene - How did you back feel after the workout?
