Good Morning:)

How is everyone? Back to work for me tomorrow:confused: Oh well!

DH is almost home. He wasnt suppose to get back until 2 this afternoon but he changed his flights last night because of a snowstorm. He spent the night in the city and he leaves soon and will be home around 10:30.

Im not sure what my workout will be today. Disc 8 will get done today but Im not sure about cardio. Im not gonna try anything silly today;) Im just trying to figure out when to do my workout. I also think my mom is comming in sometime today and I am going out for dinner with the girls at 6. If DH takes the day off and spends it with DS then Im laughing....if not then I guess I will have to do my workout sometime this afteroon.

Deb** Good workout yesterday and thanks for the update on Belinda. I never go to OD fourm so I would have never seen that.

Lori: Enjoy your workout. Yesterday's was a lot of fun. If I had more fun time and a TM I might have a tried it. Well the cardio part at least. You'd have to be insane to tack on STS after that :eek: Well done. I hope you are still logging all your workouts!!!! I wonder how many calories the workout manager will give you for just january. So what has become of getting a cert as a trainer. Are you still thinking /working on it?

No wo for me yesterday. Got home at 8pm and was just too tired. Today I won't be home until close to 11PM. So it's unlikely as well. Especially since my computer crashed last night at work and I had to remove the hard drive with my data to plug it in to a working computer and get access to my stuff. So now I have even more work to do today. So if anybody has funny stories, now is the time, I'll be lurking and I will need it. OK, off to work I go.
 
Good Morning Ladies

I went out for a little bit last night with friends...got home kinda late, and so yeah, no workout today. Tomorrow is my rest day so I will swap...I don't even know what workout I was supposed to do today....LOL I have a double today...which is why I ususally take my rest days on friday so I can sleep in a little bit, but I'll live this once! And yeah I think it's definitely over with "him".....I haven't heard from him, he came in yesterday, and was nice, but aloof. Man, all those months of not leaving me alone....jerk...LOL. Now I know he went out of town today, too. If the aloofness continues when he gets back, I'm going to have to tell him to get over himself for the zillionth time and remind him of who started this whole mess in the first place.

Amelia- Nice workout yesterday! I notice you must like PH abs? Yeah Jillian didnt' accuse the mother/daughter team of anything...it was the red team at the end she was accusing... I have Sara Ivanhoe's Candelight Yoga, but have yet to try it!

Lori- Well I have one more week of CCC next week! Now you're gonna make me do it cuz you called me a big baby!! LOL I'll show you! :eek::p I did stretchmax 2 after CCC instead...lol

Trish- Did you get to go to your class yesterday?? I have found with STS that I don't like paper plates......

Deb- I can't believe you two with not doing the extended strectch! I look forward to it! You know how I look at it, because there are times when I just don't want to take the time, is that it helps me stay mentally sane, flexible,and injury free!

Helene- Refer to above post. lol. Sounds like we both have long days today...:confused: And about a month ago, I found out "he" made it seem like I was crazy about him and wouldn't leave him alone. Omg i'm so glad it's over! Now it's back to concentrating on ME. Enjoy the rest of your day!

Good morning girls,

I'm not able to go to the gym today need to drive DS around. After work today I'm going to do Disc 8 and maybe abs or Physique 57.

So I have a funny story for you Helene. Yesterday in spin class only one bike up in the front was available (usually I'm in the back). So there's this girl right in front of the instructors bike who has tons of clothes on and ugg slippers. So I think this is strange but it gets even more weird. 1st half of the class she is riding the bike with her hands crossed on her chest like she's mad. The 2nd half of the class (room is dark) she is reading something on her cell phone and all you see is this bright light on her. I can't imagine she even got anything out of the workout:confused:

Lori - Enjoy the day off and dinner with your friends:) How did your friend do in the marathon?

Helene - I bet you can't wait till Friday:)

Iris - I like your attitude with this guy it seems like the best way to go. I'm going to try the stretch . . . how long is it?

Hey girls, i finished my workout earlier. Did KCM's Athletic Step then some weightloss yoga. I feel better,had a bad morning(issue's with the landlord agian:mad:)

Quick checkin, DH is on his way to pick me up. He ran out with DS for a little bit. He as been giving DH a hard time since he got back. Im guessing he was mad that he was gone, even though he was fine! LOL

I went for a 11 kms run outside (so nice out!) and then I did Disc 8 when I got home:) Of course the whole time I was working out I could hear DH and DS arguing! hehe!

Ameila** Sorry to hear you are having issues again:confused: Hopefully you will soon be outta there:)

Helene** I haven't thought a whole lot about the cert lately. I kind of put it on the back burner. Depends on what happens with my job I suppose. If I lose my job for some reason when the new owners take over, then maybe thats what I will do:) Right now I don't have any tme to study. I would have more if I worked night shifts cause I would study at work:eek:

Deb** Funny story! hehe! Some people are so weird, aren't they? My friend did really well in the marathon. She did it in 3:56 which I thought was great but unfortunatley it was 5 mins shy of qualifing for the Boston marathon! To bad! It probably would have been easier on her ego if she were 15 mins sh!

Iris** Kick him to the curb! I can see why you were just barely tolerating him!:p And what do you mean SM after CCC! What kind of workout is THAT?!;)

I may bbl. I have a few things to do and then its dinner with the girls. These are different girls, not ones I normally hang out with. I need to make some new friends. I am tired of the drama, back stabbing and *itching that goes on. Everyone is in a bad marriage and I don't feel the need to hangout with people who hate their husbands.

Morning Girls,

YAY! I slept all night! Even though it was only for 5.5 hours, still felt great. Definitely needed that. Got up and did CC7 (54 mins, 8.11 mi, 534 cals). It's been a month or two since I've done that one. No gym today - too many meetings to sneak away. Will probably do legs in the AM & shoulders & triceps during lunch tomorrow.

Lori - Your wo yesterday was incredible! How long did they whole thing take you? Great job! Oh man, that dessert sounds awesome!! I think I've seen it somewhere before, but I'm not sure where:confused: While on vacay in HI my bff made toasted pound cake (which I call fried!!). She put a little butter in a pan and "toasted" a slice of pound cake on each side. It was so friggin' good!!!! I'm sure that's where at least one or two of my extra pounds came from:D

Helene - Oh, duh, that certainly explains the late night calls! Glad it's only once a month! So....there once was a woman who lived in a shoe...Ok, I have no funny stories for you! Sorry!! Stay awake today:)

Iris - What a loser that guy turned out to be. Don't you hate it when they are so dillusional as to think that they are being pursued when you could care less?? Glad you are kicking him to the curb;) I didn't make the gym yesterday. I realized I didn't have a sport bra either and I really didn't want to buy another just to be able to attend the class. I'll catch it next week. Funny, I love the paper plate exercises!!

Deb - What a funny story. I'm sure the instructor was dying to ask...why are you here?? So, my dietitian thinks that I'm stressed out and that I need to "unload" some of the tasks that I do every day...ok, just where am I going to unload them?? Never figured that part out. I go to her mostly because I like her, she has cooking classes with the girls, and she has great recipe/food suggestions. She's really not telling me anything I don't already know about eating. I wonder if she's figured that out yet?:eek:

Hey Lori - Just missed you :) Great wo (as usual!!) Glad to see we have the same advice for Iris;) Have a great time with the girls. A friend's birthday is coming up at the end of the month and she made reservations for a group of us to learn pole dancing!! I'm such a prude...I'm dreading the whole event:eek:

Lori, where did your dh go? I seriously so do not miss those days of toilet training! My boys used to eat cinnamon bread. I mean they loved it. Only they didn't like raisins. I couldn't figure out why the car was smelling like a brewery - they would pick out the raisins and shove them down in between the seat cushions. Oh, and when they would spill milk! Of course, I do miss them being little... You are crazy - that's some wo, but why the heck are you trying to lose weight?
Amelia, how's your dh? Sorry your landlord is being a pain again. Noticed you are real close to meeting your goal for this month! Nice job.
Iris, sounds like he likes the thrill of the hunt. Saw you went to Barcelona for a party. I was there a few months ago and had a great tuna steak. OMG, just thinking about it, makes me want it again. What did you decide to do for your wo? This time around I'm really liking the plate exercises.
Deb, aren't their inconsistencies incredible? One of mine texted the other night - 4:15 am to ask me to cancel his credit card since it was stolen. Well I didn't check messages until later in the morning and then tried to call him to tell him he has to be the one to do it. Well, he can't find the acct number, the cell phone doesn't work that well on international calls, yada yada. So I hang up and try to find paperwork with his acct info on it and can't . Call him back - the cell phone worked that that international call. He says he found his wallet - I didn't know it was the whole wallet he was missing - it was in between cushions in the couch. Hope he recovers from pink eye quick, for your sake.
Helene, that's a long day! I just got home and can't wait for Friday evening! How are you doing with sts?
Trish, how often are you seeing a dietician? Lately I've thought I should have taken a nutrition class in college - it would have been so valuable. The fried pound cake sounds wonderful.
Tuesday did double wave hiit, and yesterday I can't remember. Oh a plyo sts disc. Today finally broke out step moves. Loved it! Got the heart rate up there. Tomorrow is back to wts! My house is such a mess, and we have friends coming over tomorrow evening! Wonder if I can call in a dump truck. Just haven't been home much to straighten up regularly, and now it makes me want to just throw everything out. Oh, on Tuesday night when I was leaving my mom, she said oh you have to go 'cause you have to wo in the morning. I said, no mom, I get to wo in the am. I feel so fortunate to be healthy and physically able to wo, that it is a joy. Plus, love that adreline rush and sense of satisfaction from a good wo.
