Good Morning!

My alarm went off to get up and workout but I rolled over:confused: Then I heard little feet....so now I am up:confused::confused: I was debating taking a rest day but I guess not.

The shower was nice last night. It wasn't to late but b/c we were at my SIL's we were in no rush to get home. I had a couple glasses of wine and I was in bed before 12.

My plan is to do CC# 8. This will be my last week of heavy training. Next week will be lighter, shorter runs and probably some UB work.

Trish** I sleep well once I am there...I just need to get to bed earlier. Im gone as soon as my head hits the pillow and I don't know if I move alnight:eek: I was in the same spot when I woke up! LOL I hear ya on stupid weight as well. For some reason the scale as crept up a little and I have done nothing differently and either my clothes fit fine or they may even be a little lose! I just need to go to bed hungry a couple of nights in a row and I should be fine;)

Good Morning Ladies....

I took two rest days.....but its' ok...I'm just going to hop back on today....I always do..lol I have just felt so beat the past couple of days...:( Going for a run...and then some step probably.

I broke my phone Thursday night..it flew out of my coat pocket when I was trying to get in the house and smashed..it must have hit just right or something.... I have nextel, I hate nextel, my contract isn't even up until April....but I didnt' care, I was still gonna have to dish out anyways just to get the phone fixed.....so I went to at&t and got an Iphone!!! I love it!!!!:):) I'm so glad my phone broke............lol What sucked was I had to wait until Friday night to get a new one. And being at the mall on a friday night isn't my cup of tea :mad: I never go on a friday..... its nutso....

Oh, I'm so relieved to hear you all complaining about the stupid scale! I got on mine yesterday for the first time in a bit, and it was up. WTH! Wonder if we're working out too much, and our bodies need a rest? Just trying to figure it out. I'm back to logging food again, though. Skimmed over the Beck diet book again for reassurance. 'Cause even tho my clothes say I'm the same if not a bit smaller, those numbers are getting to me today.
Trish, glad to hear from you. Bet you loved yesterday! Shame it was cause your DDs were sick. Hope they're feeling better soon, and that you don't get stuck in a plank pose with your double session. Good news on your MIL!
Iris, boy you have been really boosting our economy lately. At least you're happy with your new phone. Looks like it's going to clear up for a run. You're doing that plus step?!!!
Lori, you're gonna rock that race! Glad you had fun at the shower. Good idea on going lighter with the wts before the race.
Amelia, have you ever read the Beck diet book? She gives a lot of cognitive therapy strategies for success, and I'm going to go back and skim it over again. Can't believe that darn scale has me so aggravated. Think it is 'cause of that 10# challenge thread.
Deb, how was West Side Story? I love that musical, and am so disappointed in my DD's taste that she does not. Did you start singing the songs on the way home? Where did you go to eat? No, I am not looking forward to DD driving. While she is more level-headed than the boys, I can't afford another car being totalled! Next summer we'll have her do driver's ed. She can get her permit and drive around home, but I'm all in favor of still having to drive her more than a 30 minute distance.
Helene, hope you're holding up with all the traveling.
Belinda, please let us know how you're doing. Hope you're able to return to Germany soon.
Today is a long, hilly walk with the dogs. Of course, that will all depend on how much coffee I've drank before leaving! Then it's MomTaxi, groceries, office work, and getting ready for the week.

Trish-Enjoy your pilates class today! sounds like its for a great cause. Awesome job on your clothes fitting good...thats such a great feeling. Sounds like your doing all the right things and im sure you will reach your goal in no time!

Lori-Im sure you will be close to the winner(ifnot the winner) your running is amazing! Always inspiring..i find running the most challenging form of exercise so far(i think thats why i keep coming back to it). I thought the same thing about my weigh in yesterday! Im sure i would of had a loss ifnot for those cheats. Im just glad it didn't gain that much...can't wait to see next saturdays WI.

Cookie-Have fun on your walk! I too have wondered if im pushing myself a little much on the workouts? Im taking two rest days now(for the past three weeks) and its helping. Of course last week ended up being a rest week:rolleyes: heck,i guess i needed it. I feel so much better this morning.

Iris-Ive heard the Iphone's are cool! Enjoy your run this monring. How is your mother doing?

Helloooo ...I"m back for some personals and to report my workout.

Lori- I'm so excited for you and your race!! 4:48 is so awesome! I can't imagine ever being able to run that fast for that long. Right now starting out I'm happy with my 10:00 pace. :) How long have you been running?

Cookie- No joke about boosting the economy! :eek: All those double shifts I've been working are going right back out the window! lol And as far as running and step...I"m just working on the one combo I"m doing for the audition, and my run is only 25 minutes....=) Sounds like you have a busy day ahead of you!! Have fun doing groceries...I"m doing the same thing today.

Amelia- Have a great workout today!!!

So...update on my mom....she is doing ok for the most part. They moved her treatments to every 3 weeks instead of every 2....her white blood count was dropping way too low, so as it turns out it was too much for her to do every 2 weeks. We go back in again Tuesday to check her blood again, and then we'll know if she can go to the wedding next friday. She's been stuck in the house on doc's orders so as not to catch anything...............

Good afternoon girls,

I slept really good last night, but wasting all my energy on housework:mad: Now, I'm going to do MM upper body before DH wants lunch!

The play was really good. No traffic going and coming (DH was happy). We went to a nice italian restaurant (Lattanzi) and were done in less than an hour. My DH said we probably were done quicker than if we went to McDonald's:confused: Good part is we walked around the city for 2 hours so I did get some exercise in:)

Lori - It must have been hard getting the cupcakes out of the door. That was a late babyshower. Usually they don't have booze at the babyshowers I go to:confused: I guess because the Mom can't drink.

Iris - Keeping my fingers crossed your Mom can go to the wedding.

Cookie - The only strange thing about the play was parts of it were spoken in spanish:confused: I'm sure a lot of people like me didn't understand. Have fun with your dog walk today:)

Amelia - I agree sometimes we do extra workouts and it doesn't really make much of a difference.

Trish - The pilates pink sounds like fun . . . I bet you'll be sore tomorrow:):)

Hi girls,

It's quiet around here. Finished my upper body workout. I loved butts & gutts yesterday it's been too long . . . may do it a couple of times before vacation next week:)

Put my winter comforter on the bed today . . . can't wait to crawl in bed.
