Good Morning

Sorry I was MIA yesterday. It was the day of the funeral so I was pretty busy. I did get out for a run but it wasn't a very good one. If I run like that next Sun, I won't do very good in the race!:eek: I think I am just so mentally and physically tired from everything that I couldn't run as good as Im use to. This kind of stuff if exhausting!

I also slept in:rolleyes: I set the alarm for 5:15 and rolled back over for a little while and when I looked it was 5:55:confused: Now I have less time to wake up and less time to workout:(! LOL I know I won't have time tonight though b/c we are having Thanksgiving supper tonight.

The funeral wasn't to bad at all yesterday. I think his wife is in shock b/c she is doing really well! They did everything together and you never saw one without the other. His son is having a hard time though.

On a brighter note, I got rid of those pesky pounds that have been bothering me since the night I had a few to many drinks;) I guess I was retaining water, and boy, did I know it! I think the scale went up about 4-5 lbs and wasn't budging! Then it finally moved and i am back down to my comfortable weight again.

Alright...I have to get this show on the road. I am going to do BC UB/LB work with 5 min runs mixed in. Im hoping to get out for a 15k run tomorrow, which will be my last long run until Sun! I get a bad stomach just thinking about it!

Everyone is still sleeping??:) I got my workout done:) I managed to get a 3 mile run in, hills and speed, and some weight work.

Lori-My heart goes out to your DH's uncle's wife, im sure she has a strong, supportive family to help her get through this difficult time.

Awesome news on those pesky lbs gone! Nice going! Are you going to take a rest day before your big race?

As for me....Today I will attempt my first weight workout in over three weeks:eek: my back hasn't given me any sign that its not ready! I also want to do a cardio so that means a circuit! So,its either LIC,C&W or the BM2 premix that is like a circuit...forget the name! Can't wait to sweat it out with Cathe:eek::eek::eek: Ive also got an abb workout that I want to do,I will do it first....The Abs Advantage with Chris Freytag. Ive also got some laundrymax to do.

Glad someone came to chat with me;) I am suppose to take 3 rest days before the rest but that always seems to make me lazier. Im thinking of taking 1-2 rest days, but if I workout, they aren't going to be hard workouts at all. This week I should focus on drinking tons of water as well so that I am well hydrated. When I was working out today I thought about you when I was lifting weights. There was a slight twinge in my lower back, kind of felt like one wrong move and something would give. Backs are probably a week area on women. I find it really helps if I keep my abs in when I am working out. Good luck with your workout and let us know how it goes:)

Im in the middle of making some cookies. Super lazy though:confused: Im in need of a good nights sleep!

Hey Lori-Yeah,ive also noticed that when i keep my abbs in my back feels stronger. Im really going to try and stay focused with my form from now on. I hope nothing serious comes out of the twinge you felt today. Good thinking on keeping your workouts light before your big race! Happy baking!

Belinda-Ive been meaning to ask you how myfitnespal is going along? Ive got 2100 calories to eat today:confused: (my workout burned over 600 cals:eek:) Can't wait until I get a HRM,then I will really know how many cals i burn. Enjoy your day with your Family!

I just got off the phone with my sister and she wants me to come over thursday and hang out with her and gracie(my niece)....she also wants to order pizza so if i plan on having a productive wieghtloss week(lol) i need to be good for the most part:p

My DH says im just obsessed with everything that goes in my mouth...well,DUH:rolleyes: And speaking of my DH, he doesn't even try to lose weight and he drops 16lbs in over two months:eek: and ya know what he said about it? "mmmmm,im down 16lbs" then takes a shower,LOL. I think I would break out into an happy dance and call EVERYBODY I know;)

My workout is done and I feel AWESOME:DDid that abb workout by prevention...it was fun! Then I did C&W...im dripping wet right now so off to the shower then its finishing up my laundry!

Hello Ladies,

I hope everyone had a good weekend. Today was my rest day. Tomorrow I am going to start back heavy lifting/lower # of reps, I think. I have been doing jari Love wihich is light weight/lot's of reps. I will think about it some more. It is good to switch it up. I lost 2.6 lbs this past week!! YAY!!!! I stopped going to the WW meetings and plan to just weight myslef at home. I am thinking of only once a month (officially- of course I will sneak a peek). How often do you ladies weigh when you are trying to lose?

The new kb dvds I got are the first two Powerstrikes and Powerstrike Millenium and a couple of Body Combats. I love the muay thai moves- make me feel strong and courageous!! LOL!!

Lori- Again, I am so sorry to hear about your uncle. I am saying a prayer for you and your family. Good job on the weight loss!

Amelia- Good job on the work out. I have that same Prevention dvd. I have not done it yet. How would you rate it? Begginer, intermediate or advances?

Hello to everyone else. I see the board has been kinda lonely this weekend. I guess everyone is enjoying the weather- or at least here it is great- 80 degrees today!!

Hey kim! WTG on the weightloss! I would rate that prevention workout an intermediate....i was having trouble with some of the moves:confused: I did the basic abbs workout today,think I will try the pilate workout for abbs tuesday.

When I was doing WW'ers I also stopped going to the meetings and started weighing myself at home...I usually WI on saturdays and peek at it like three times a week.
