Im back again. Had to check out lottery tickets. No such luck! Im still poor!:-( hehe Well...just as poor as the next person I suppose! LOL

This weekends eating hasn't been good and now I know why. Im not pregnant this month, which is good news but the way you find out, isn't.That was one good thing about being pregnant. TTOM came very early actually. Oh well.....

So back at it again today. Back to mindful eating and even better workouts. Todays workout will be 4DS UB and BM2 cardio or a run. Im not sure which one yet, I guess I will have to wait and see what i am in the mood for.

Hope all you sleepy heas get out of bed soon. I am also doing laundry and housework today..back to work in the morning! Blah!

Good Morning Ladies

Lori,you early bird;-) Great workout planned for today! TTOTM was on thursday for me..still on it....I stayed on my deit thanks to those sugar free fugde pops I had in my freezer,Thankgoodness for fudge pops! I know sf stuff isn't the best for ya,but dang...I wanted SOMETHING chocolate! LOL

So,today is day-one of week-two! Im excited,ive already prepped some salsa chicken wraps for next week. I plan on going to the grocery store today to get some more clean foods. I will also make some egg quiche's soon to have on hand.Ive got some potien pancakes already in the freezer so next week is good to go!

I need to do a cardio today,Im kinda tired of doing step. OH Man,I can't wait to get my tread mill next weekend. Its just too darn cold out to walk :-(. I might do Drillmax cardio since I didn't get to do it the other day!

Hello everyone. We are having a lazy day at home. I woke up unable to talk and the boys got up with still very snotty noses, so we skipped church. My voice is back, and I don't feel too bad, though. It's just that ongoing nasty postnasal drip. Today is scheduled to be a rest day--might do some yoga later, though.

Yesterday I really enjoyed 4DS HIS (yep, I stepped against doctor's orders--but only on a 4" step). I am really feeling it in my chest today. I didn't lift as heavy as Cathe, but I did bump up to a 52 lb barbell (not quite so much as Cathe's 62 lbs) for rows, so that was a new high for me. I also got to try my Perfect Push-up thingeys out, which might be why my chest is extra sore today.

Where's Belinda today? I'm waiting for the special question of the day to answer.

Lori, ugh, hate it when TTOM comes early. Of course I haven't had mine in several weeks since I'm on the 3-month cycle pill. Only another week or two until I finally have one, though.

Amelia, good luck with week 2 of BFL. Is it better than the SBD?

Lainie-Your lifting 52lbs for what exercise? Wow thats great!congrats on the increase! I LOVE this diet..alot eaiser to follow than SBD. I will purchase the recipe book soon too!

ok,still no workout.I have cleaned out my fridge,and my kitchen.I need to run to the store. Im thinking about doing drill max later in the day!

Amelia, the 52 lbs was for back underhand rows. I think I will look into the BFL soon probably.

Brr. I'm so cold. Our house heat is set on the same temperature as always but I feel colder like the heat is struggling to get up to the normal temp with it being so cold outside. I'm glad I don't have anywhere in particular to go outdoors today, though.

ETA: I'm thinking I should probably cut out cardio such as Drill Max and Boot Camp which I feel are probably even worse for my knees than straight up step (and they use the step some anyway). The bootcamp/drill type workouts are really my least favorite anyway--though I prefer Cathe's to anyone else's, of course.

Today is a rest day for me, I'm just going to lounge around and maybe go to town and do a little shopping later.

Lori - Looks like you have one tough workout planned for today. Have fun:)

Amelia - Are you liking the BFL food? What are the protein pancakes like? I still need to go to town and see if I can't find the books anywhere else. I bet you are excited about your new treadmill, I have one but need a new one. Mine doesn't incline:(

Lainie - Bootcamp is not one of my favorite Cathe's either but I do like Drillmax. I'm glad you enjoyed 4DS HIS, that is a fun one. I attempted Amy's ASC2 yesterday, I made it all the way through and did pretty well until the last combo. That to me seemed like the toughest one, maybe it's all the twisting and turning she does in that last one. I LOVE the weave, it is so much fun:)

Hey Girls!

Quiet day here today? I just wanted to report my workout! My eating as been perfect today so I am also very happy about that!.

I ended up doing 4DS UB and a 5 mile run. Im happy with that. I have to get ready now and go get some "womens" supplies!:+ Im also going to get a new battery for my BF monitor. Id like to know what mine is again...I forgot!
I will be back for personnals later!

Hello!

How is everyone today? Looks pretty quiet, but I guess that's normal for Sunday. It is freezing here as well, our basement is frigid so we are avoiding it for the most part! Busy day yesterday so I took a planned rest day.

I did BM2 cardio segments 1-3 and it was tough, but fun! I'm getting the choreography down, and I was happy to be able to make it through all those segments. Next weekend I will try some of the power circuits I think.

I'm sorry this is short, BBL for personals, need to get a few things done around the house!!

B-1/2 c egg beaters with 1 protien pancake
s-salsa chicken wrap(low carb wrap) with a side salad
L-open faced cubed chicken panini on one slice of Whole wheat bread with 1/4 c RF cheese,2/3 c of steamed veggies
s-mixed nuts
D-2cs of the southwestern chicken soup with a side of steamed veggies
s-one small apple with string cheese!

I STILL haven't worked out,thought about taking a rest day,but then agian...ive stood infront of my DVD case trying to figure out a workout for today! LOL I need to do cardio for about 30mins:+

I had computer problems this morning! I know I can count on Lori! My family came today! We had a lot of fun! Eat too much! Thank goodness today was my free day!
I watched I know who killed me with Lindsay Lohnan! One freaky movie! We also watched 1408 by Stephen King! Another good movie!

Question of the day! What is your favorite movie or show? My fav. show is Two and a half man! We don’t get shows like in the states!

I am glad Lori got as started, my computer didn’t work all day! Not sure what was wrong? Oh, well!

Hi all,
I'm back!

Okay, think I'm behind on one of Belinda's questions. As far as hobbies go, of course working out, reading, gardening, traveling, and I LOVE the outdoors. I grew up in a camping, hiking, skiing, mountain loving family so those are some things I love to do (although it's tough to do it living here in KS!!!). Oh well, we still enjoy living here it's a nice place to raise the kiddos:)

Let's see, favorite shows....have to say Heroes, Lost, Amazing Race and Project Runway (my reality t.v. fixes). I also love to watch the travel channel and HGTV. Of course, the only time I watch t.v. is in the evenings and I can usually only catch one show a night If I feel like it, otherwise I like to read.

Lori, are you still on the fence about having #3? I know that's a HUGE decision to make, I'm sure things will work out for you the way they are supposed to. Sorry your TOTM came early, yuck:( Is Rylan walking all the time now? Ryan is close, we see more steps every day, but not full time yet. Great workout today!!

Amelia, sounds like you have been super productive and great job on losing 2 more pounds!!! I'm very happy for you;) Did you end up doing some cardio today? Also, super job on following the BFL plan!

Lainie, sounds like you got a great step workout in yesterday! Sorry you are feeling cruddy today, hope it passes quickly. Have you decided how you'll approach your workouts now that the doctor has ruled out stepping? Have you thought about and elliptical? I would think that would be nice and low impact on your knees, but maybe the bike is better?

Belinda, hello and glad you got to spend some time with family!

Shannon, have a nice relaxing rest day today! Always good to give the body a rest. We do work hard, that is for sure!

Hi, everyone! I'm really here! Finally past my terrible cold (I think) and did my first full hour workout in a WEEK, if you can believe it (I'm sure Lainie can - you got hit pretty hard also).

I did Step Works plus the abs section from that tape. Just right.

Lori, so glad you're not preggers, LOL! Lots to think about.

Amelia, good job on the 2 lbs. Woo hoo! What workout did you choose?

Belinda, glad you are having a great weekend! That's what families are for.

Lainie, good workout - and sorry you're not feeling 100% today. BUMMER on the doctor saying no step. I dont' know what I'd do. But there really are so many options.

OK, for today's question:
Favorite movies: Pride & Prejudice (BBC Version not Keira Knightley one), Princess Bride, When Harry Met Sally, all 3 Alien movies, Star Wars (original trilogy), Ladyhawke, Better Off Dead, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, I could go on and on but I'll stop.

Favorite TV shows: (historically Seinfeld and Arrested Development but both are off now), House, Heroes, Pushing Daisies, The Colbert Report, The Daily Show, The Office

Shannon, I had the most trouble with the 5th combo of ASC2 as well. At first I thought it was just because I was tired at that point, but I even had trouble with it when I just did 4 & 5 for fun on a rest day. Very fun workout, though.

Belinda, when we lived in Holland we actually watched a lot of imported American shows. They play a lot of American stuff with subtitles. When we got to England they had fewer American imports as the English make so much of their own shows.

Stacey, I've ordered a MatStep to do step lower impact. I'm also trying to talk the hubby into a stationary bike. I've thought about an elliptical, but we'd probably put it in the basement which has a low ceiling. Plus he's kind of interested in a bike/rower combination.

Cheryl, sorry you've felt crummy. I have overall felt better this week with just a couple days that were iffy. I hope that means I'll be 100% soon.
