Good morning girls,

How are you doing this morning? What are your plans for today?
I am taking a REST/FREE day today! I am going to the cemetery for my moms 71 b-day! We also will go to a Greek restaurant later on! I will be in Nuernberg most of the day!

Good Morning Ladies:)

I went to bed last night around 10:30 ish and I DIED! I didn't move until DS woke at 4:20, then I went back for another hour. I feel alot better then I did yesterday morning. Its also nice to have the bed to myself sometimes:) and I also got to snag DH's new pillow. I think I need to get one of those water pillows for myself! I bought one for DH for Christmas and they are soooo nice!

Todays workout is just gonna be a straight run. Maybe abs if I have the time. I would like to do step but at this early in the morning I think it would be wise to just put one for in front of the other:+

Started my cross stitch yesterday and its a christmas pattern! its a snowmans head with little birds on top of it. It should take a while to do if I only do it at work. I did alot to it yesterday and they day went by pretty fast.

Ameila** Sounds like you had a nice night planned with DH! Did you enjoy your free day?

Carrie** Thats a pretty good burn as well. Im thinking about wearing my HRM for my run today but it drives me nuts. When my HR drops I have to put my hands over the band part and then it will pick it up again. I don't know what else to do with it. Its as tight as it can go,plus Ive made it smaller by putting a safety pin in it.

Shannon** Did you have a good day visiting with your family? Was it a long drive?

Cheryl** Where are ya????? How is the weightloss going!? You have probably missed that I gained some weight back as well. Not alot. Just 2-5 lbs, depending on when I weigh. Im really trying to figure out where I went wrong. I have been lifting heavier for the past month so that may be the culprit but I can't help to think tha I gained a little fat along with those muscles. So I have went from 116.7-118 t0 120.6-122.5 and I haven't seen 120 in a while! Its staying closer to the 122 rangex( x(

Krisitine** Did you enjoy your play date yesterday? Mommy groups are nice. We are trying to plan a night out with our group now. Looking at the 14th of Mar. Pretty sure everyone won't be able to make it but we will have to go with the majority.

Stacy** Hope everyone is feeling better!

Laine** What are your plans for the day? Church? Are you gonna try working out again?

I bought some nice bars yesterday.BTW. At walmart. They are called slimdown but I dont think that they are for weightloss. I bought a cranberry cashew one, 140 cals,9 g protein,6 grams of fiber. And the other one was a little higher in cals and protein but a little lower in fiber. I haven't tried that one yet but I may go back and get some more!

Good Morning fit and lean ladies!

Today is my rest day and boy am I looking forward to it! My mom and dad didn't get the kids yesterday,my dad starting feeling bad so Dh called his mom/dad and they watched them while we went out for dinner! The steakhouse had a 60min waiting time so we went to applebee's instead! It was pretty good! And a nice litte break-too bad it wasn't longer though;-)


Belinda-You day sounds like fun!My MIL visits her mother on her b-day too,its a very long drive too!(about 5hrs).her mother passed about 8yrs ago,to lungcancer. How was your free day? I really enjoyed mine! I think thats why this diet is working so well for me!

Lori-nice run today! so your are constantly pushing the speed button and incline button while jogging! Ive heard thats a nice way to increase endurance for longer runs. Of course you don't need ot increase your endurance...10 mile women;-)!What is the farthest you have jogged? Happy cross-stitching:7

hey girls, I forgot to mention my measurements and body fat yesterday!

I lost 2 3/4 total inche's

and my BF is a whopping 30%:eek: ;-) its the first time I measured it so in another 4 week mabe it will lower!

Today's workout is CardioX, and a possible Cathe add on, depending on my feelings. Also, some yoga, I need a good stretch for these legs!

Belinda-enjoy you free day! Aren't those the best?

Lori- nice workout. My HRM doesn't have a strap, it's a MIO. To read your HR you have to place two fingers on it for the reading. It doesn't give you a continous HR, which kinda sucks, but hey, it was only $30 at Wal Mart. I really can't complain, I just want to know what I burned.

Amelia-nice job on the inches lost. That was the biggest thing I noticed with my 1st p90x rotation, I lost only a few lbs, but the inches were lost everywhere. All my clothes are too big now.

Good morning ladies,

Sorry, I am so short the last couple of days, but I have been busy or my SD was on my computer, not that she has her own :p .

Anyway, I was thinking of taking a rest day today, but on the other hand I might do a short run on the treadmill, not like Lori though, way slooowwweerrrr than that ;-) .

Belinda - I hope you have a nice time at the Greek restaurant. It sounds yummy, haven't been in one in forever!!

Lori - It was only a luncheon at a restaurant with the mommies from my playgroup. Heidi was the only child there :eek: , all the mommies said that their child won't sit still that long, oh well, hehe. But I have a playdate I want to go to on Thursday, so we'll see.

Amelia - Oh no, grocery shopping :-( , I hate to go on the weekends, but sometimes, that's the way it works out. I have never measured my bodyfat, maybe I need to get me one of those calipers as well.

Carrie - Have fun with your workout. That one goes by so fast.

Busy day again. After church we went to the mall (no, I can't shop for Lent but this was my husband's shopping). Now I've got Ewan down for a nap and I'm getting ready to do my workout. Just need to stick my hair up and put on my Rykas. I'm going to try Petra Kolber's Step Moves, New Grooves. It's supposed to be low impact so I'm going to try it on my MatStep. Surely that won't kill my knees (though they are a bit creaky today). At least I'll be back at PT tomorrow for a nice massage and electric stimulation so that will help.

This week I'm going to start a new rotation alternating Amy Bento's Slo-Mo workouts with the GS workouts--only upper body for now, though, since the PT doesn't want me doing anything but his exercises for lower body right now.

I'll BBL for personals--do have a lot to say to everyone but need to get my butt in gear first.

Happy Sunday afternoon everyone;)

Still resting and recovering here. I am feeling a little better each day and my cough is starting to ease up so that is great news. My DH has been absolutely awesome about helping me around the house and watching the kids so I can rest. I got a nap in yesterday and one today. I have a bad feeling that the flu bug that I got originally turned into something worse, like a bad bronchitis. I've heard of people having the cough for weeks:( I'm praying that mine is about at the end as I'm on day 14 of being sick. I am on an antibiotic too, so hopefully I'll really improve soon.

Belinda, hope you have a wonderful day and a great dinner. I also LOVE greek food:)

Lori, what a great run you had! I've also heard changing the incline during the run is excellent for burning calories. Not sure what to tell you on those couple of pounds you gained, could it just be muscle weight? I'm sure everything will be back to where you want it to be in no time.

Amelia, how is your rest day going? Great job on the inches lost!!! I'm sure the body fat percentage will decrease as you continue along. You're doing so fantastic!

Carrie, did you do yoga today? That always sounds like a nice Sunday workout to me. Will you be shopping for new clothes since your old ones are too big?

Lainie, how was your workout today? Knees okay? Sounds like the PT is a good idea, hope it helps your joints a bit.

Hi to Cheryl, Shannon, and anyone else I missed.

I miss working out, but I HAVE to heal up before I do anything. I certainly don't want to get worse at this point.

Amelia, woo hoo on the inches gone. Wow! you are on fire, girl!

Stacey, I just hope you don't have what I had... or what Lainie had... there's no choice but to rest because trying to workout will make you dizzy/nauseous and make your chest and sinuses really hurt. I hope you're on the mend.

Lori - what I wouldn't give to be 122 today. I'm still over 130. But this is going well, and look out girl, I'm going to give you a run for your money again, LOL! The stress of starting the new business really killed my intentions, but I'm very determined to be back below 121 again by the agency's 1 year anniversary date, April 1.

I did part of the new workout, but had trouble learning new stuff while doing it in my dining room with my little laptop. So I switched over to Amy Bento's ASCII (LOVE IT) and did a premix of the first 3 combos. Now I'm back for personals.

Belinda, sounds like you are having (or already had) a busy, fun day.

Lori, great workout today (but my knees hurt just thinking about it).

I had a cough again last night and part of today, but I somehow managed to work out (you know how sometimes it's bad enough to wipe you out and sometimes you can fight it). I feel like I have to keep fighting it because I've been sick so much since the fall, but maybe I'd do better to rest more like you were saying--focus on healing.

Ok, so I got my little run in, 30 min. run/jog. For some reason, I had such a hard time. Do you have that too sometimes, then you workout that you just don't have any energy. I felt like I never worked out before, just so lame. Oh well, I have a love/hate relationship with workout out anyway. I am really looking forward to work out but when I started, I am just thinking oh my god, this is hard, when is it over. ;-)

Lainie - Looks like you had a nice workout after all. How do you like Amy's Slo-Mo? I love weight work and this one just looks really good. I am broke right now though and I preordered STS, but maybe at one point I want to get it.

Cheryl - Good to see you.

Stacey - I hope that you get well very soon.
