Good morning,

Today is D 17 - legs on the rotation, not sure if I will do legs today? I thought it was my lower back that been bordering me, it's my hip? Not sure what I did? Maybe I will do D 18 instead?

Good Morning!

I had to go to work early for a flight...Im back home again now. Im thinking I will be real lazy later today but right now I feel o.k and its almost to late to go back to bed. Im thinking about heading downstairs and getting on the TM for a quick CC workout...or maybe my own interval workout. Today is suppose to be a 6 kms interval workout. I may also do something else tonight b/c I have been eating like a pig lately:rolleyes:

Belinda** Im suppose to do chest and back again, well...ever since Mon actually:eek: Im ready for STS to be over with. I haven't really seen any results, probably b/c I haven't really changed anything about my diet and I never did do the 1RM thing. Anyway...Im kinda looking forward to doing my own thing again. I never did follow rotations very well.

O.k...I gotta get my butt moving before DS wakes up and I get lazy! I have my neices today so thats why i can't run later. Im sure my running partner will be calling me though.

I will bbl for personals!

Started BM2, but didn't have much energy so only did 30 mins. My dad is in town and wants us to take him out to dinner for an early birthday present to him. If only he had less expensive tastebuds....

Good Morning.

Seems like no one has any energy this week!! :eek: I wonder if it's the change in weather?? I don't know...... I ended up doing an hour of yoga last night, so I salvaged myself a little bit. Today is Muscle Max and week 1 Day 2 of p/u's .

Belinda- Have a great workout whatever you decide!

Lori- Have a great day! I hope you get your run in.

Cookie- I haven't the faintest idea what rotation I'm doing....I put everything in my calendar when I did August's rotation....lol I looked at this month's rotation, but only 2 days of cardio kind of scares me........So where are you planning on going to dinner??

Helene- Are you scottish? I'm going to assume so. :) Have fun if you go this weekend! I have Sunday, monday., tuesday off...I haven't had Labor day (or any other holiday besides Christmas day) off in 4 freaking years...lol (ohhh wait...Easter)

Deb- How did you celebrate your birthday??? I hope you had a wonderful day!

Amelia-LOL @ your chihuahua disappearing in the grass. What's on tap for you today. I am following your P90 rotation very closely. ;)

Trish- Any more energy today? We need to snap out of it, no? lol

My shoulders and arms(muscles around the inside of my elbow) are hurting:( they started monday evening and i thought it was doms from doing negative pull-ups...well now there painful. Im suppose to do Shoulders & Arms today along with abb ripper...i don't see it happening:(. Maybe abb ripper later today...

I will cut the grass today...that will burn some cals. I will wear my HRM so lets see if i can hit 800cals burned today:p;)

Belinda-i hope your injury is nothing serious...maybe take a rest day?

Lori-Enjoy your interval run...and nieces today!

Iris-WTG on your hour of yoga yesterday..P90x has an 90min yoga workout that i have to do once a week(i only did 45mins of it last thrusday:rolleyes:) thats just too long to do yoga:confused:

Cookie-Nice job on BM2...where are you taking your father for lunch?

Good morning girls,

Thanks for all the birthday wishes:) We just went out for a quick bite last night. We are celebrating on Friday night because that's when the boys are available. I did sneak in a bowl of ice cream w/hot fudge last night:eek:. Going to my Mom's tonight to have dinner with my twin Aunts. I feel like this summer is the never ending party (bad eating too :().

Going to work and going to hop on the TM and do a CC when I get back.

Belinda - I hope your hip feels better (maybe a good stretch will help).

Lori - I agree I did the 6mo. rotation and lately too many things get in the way of completing it. I wished I would have done the 3 mo. I still have another 7 weeks.

Iris - Maybe with your 3 days of your energy will come back:) Any plans?

Amelia - You do get a great calorie burn cutting the grass:) I hope your shoulder & arms feel better.

Cookie - Have fun at dinner with your Dad and hopefully it won't be too many $$$'s:)

Helene - Your tempting me to get the tower especially since the S&H is $20. I do have birthday $$'s coming my way:confused:.

Trish - Your tilapia w/spinach salad sounded so good yesterday:)

Hi Girls:)

Whata day:confused: I had 4 kids all day. The girls were absolutley no trouble at all but DS was his usual self. I don't know why he isn't even bothered by the girls at all. You would think that he would want to play with them or interact on some level...but NO...lets torture mommy instead! I felt kinda tied to the house b/c I had so many children and not enough car seats...if I did want to venture out into public:rolleyes: Prehaps I should just pretend that I had booster seats cause Im sure I wouldn't go anywhere anyways. Its just knowing that I can't makes me want to. Then SIL broke it to me this afternoon that she needs me again tomorrow. So my 2 days off...I was stuck in the house. I can't say anything though b/c she took DS Mon and Tues...so I kinda owe her. I don't really have anywhere to go.

After dinner DH went FISHING (first time since I got mad at him last week) and I had DS...(AGAIN) His balloon floated away while he was outside, which he is usually o.k with but of course it couldn't float far, far away. It just got stuck in the trees by our house. Unfortunatley I am not 30 feet tall so i couldn't reach the GD thing and he lost his MIND! I took him for a drive and bought him a new one but when we were pulling out of the parking lot he seen something else he wanted and LOST his MIND again...then I started to LOSE my MIND! I seriously thought i was going to snap! Thank God he fell asleep while we were out!

Ameila** Did you hit the 800 mark? I remember wearing my HRM while I was doing housework.. i wasn't to impressed with the results. I think there was something wrong with that thing anyway.

Iris** Hope you had a good day! did you book that trip yet?

Deb** Glad to hear you had a great b-day. The summer is hard time to stick to any kind of eating plan! The end is near though.

Cookie** Yep, I was up early and need to go to bed early:D Hope you enjoyed your dads visit!!

I did a 5.5 mile run on the TM (cc # 6) . It was a really good run. Im hoping to get a run in tomorrow...just don't know when.

Evening Ladies,

Late check-in tonight. Today's wo was the last of M2, D24. I have cardio tomorrow and then a 'rest week'. I wanted to get your advice on whether to actually take the rest week. My workouts have been so sketchy over the past couple of months and I usually have 2-3 rest days in a week as opposed to 1. I am thinking to either shorten the rest period to 3 or 4 days or to do lighter weight wos for the whole week(i.e. resistance band wo, or jillian michael workouts which use light weights). Let me know your thoughts.

Belinda - So, what did you decide to do today? Hope your hip/back is better tomorrow.

Lori - I am feeling the same way about STS. I really like the program and have seen really great strength gains, but I haven't lost many inches. Also have been eating poorly although, I haven't cheated since dinner at my friends on Saturday. Oh well, one more month of STS and then I'm going to do my favorite FF rotation. LOL at all the MIND LOSING over there!

Cookie - How was dinner with your dad? It seems we all need an energy boost.

Iris - How many push ups are you up to? Hope you enjoyed MM...it's a fav!

Amelia - How was yard work today? Sending healing vibes to your shoulder.

Deb - Ice cream & hot fudge sounds like the perfect bday treat! I guess STS is starting to wear on all of us :confused: Not sure if I will do the whole program again straight through.

Iris: AWESOME!!!!! That is so exciting. Woohoo! Now THAT is something to look forward to! I'm not scottish by the way, just French. But I do enjoy their games. It's fun.

Trish and Lori: Awww, I hope you don't discourage me from pushing through on STS. I am just getting into it and am nearing the end of Meso 1 on the 6 1/2 month rotation (2 more weeks). I am still enjoying it for now. Lori, I hope you can stay Zen tomorrow. Home with 4 kids would not be pretty for me I'm thinking. I hope you find your time to take a good run.

Belinda: So sorry you are having trouble. I hope you will feel better soon. I'll keep sending good vibes your way.

Amelia: So now I want to know if I should do the lawn instead of having it done. What was the calorie burn? Are you still weighing everything? What is the food that was the worst when comparing calories versus volume estimates using cups?

Deb: A nice dinner always makes for a good birthday, I am happy to hear that you got one.

Cookie: Time ticking down to the weekend. It looks like the weather is going to be beautiful!

Hello to anybody I missed.

I did disc 8 to triceps and back this morning. went well, but my fancy new HR monitor said I only got 210 calories out of that. Don't know if I need to increase my weights, but I had done my 1 RMs. We'll see.

Off to bed. I have to be up in 6 hours if I want to get the workout in, get the kids ready and off to school and find my way to work. I am SO looking forward to the 3 day weekend coming up!
