I am sorry I haven't answered personals the last few days, but I am very busy. I will try to came back today.

Getting ready for the gym. I will do cardio today.

Belinda, sorry you are so busy lately. Great job keeping up with your workouts while you are. How's your son doing lately?
Amelia, my dd's friends loved the Twilight movie. Glad you did also. I borrowed Kristin Chenowith's bio from the library and a pile of gardening books. Hoping to stop by again today to pick up fiction to squeeze in over the weekend. Have you read Hotel at the Corner of Bitter and Sweet? What are you doing for Thanksgiving?
Iris, how are you feeling? Got the Carmella confused with another teacher the other day. I do have a niece who is a teacher, but she just calls me Cookie and she's in another county. The other day someone was talking about Cookie, but it was their dog!
Lori, those toddler years are so challenging. Then again the teenage years are also. Guess it is just different. How do you like your new treadmill?
Deb, my dh would tell you I could have been shopping anywhere! That's a lot of steps. No wonder you are so tiny - your job helps keep you in shape. What's the diff between the pedometer and the GWF? Also, why did you decide to get it?
Helene, aren't you exhausted with the double workouts? I would be. Then again, I'm the old lady here. How was yoga?

Good morning Cookie and all who follows,

Cookie, thanks for asking DS is doing great! How are you doing? Have fun with your workout.

I did CCPP on the CT in the gym today. I was so motivated this morning in the gym. LOL! I traveled 5 miles, I am very proud! That is my first 5 miler on the TC! I burned 1100 cal. I am one sweaty mess.

Before I went to the gym, I tried on 3 black little dresses I had since 4 years (after my mom passed away, I gained a lot of weight), I couldn’t fit in them to save my life. Now they all fit again. I did tried them on 3 months ago, still couldn’t get in them. I couldn’t even get them over my a$$, lol! They all fit, now I can’t decide which one to wear. Whatever I am doing it’s working. I am losing inches, which is fine with me! I was so afraid when I hurt my back a few months ago, it would set my weight loss back, and it didn’t.

Off to the shower and walk the dogs. Still have to do my core/back exercises!
 
Good Morning Ladies

I went to bed at midnight last night, and I've been up since 4 just laying in bed....:( So I just finally decided to get up and get on with it.... Will be fun doing GS Legs on 4 hours of sleep...but I think I'm going to do the timesaver #2 and do the floor work from L&G....it wont' require lifting the barbell too many times. I am still so damn sore from GS CT the other day, I can't get over it...what is going on with my body??? lol

Belinda- Great workout! I should really break down and give CC a shot.

Cookie- I've been trying forever to get Cross Train on Ebay.....it's the only series I dont' have besides STS. Leaner Legs is still stuck in my VCR...lol So you have a niece, but not named Carmella....gotcha! It was just such a coincidence that she knew someone with your name.

Helene- Where do you go in Albany? I thought you went in Saratoga? Did I ask you what gym you belong to? Maybe I asked yesterday and you haven't posted since...lol

Lori- I read somewhere yesterday that in Canada it is illegal to publicly remove a bandage....is this true?

Amelia- Nice run yesterday!! I"m going to start out running on the TM again soon....and will probably do intervals as well....do you do your own or do you use CC?

Deb- I put on a pedometer once at work a few months ago, someone brought it in for me a couple of hours into my shift, and I wore it until the end of my shift...and 12000 steps later I couldn't believe how much moving we do! I can't even imagine how many steps on my double shifts. It's probably why my knees aren't always peachy......... I think I'm going to look at this Chalean Xtreme...see what it's all about, all you girls have such an array of workouts besides Cathe, I'm thinking of branching out on cardio for a change of pace.....

Belinda: Woohoo on the little black dresses. There is nothing better. Congratulations. I think you should set up enough date nights with DH to use all of them :D. And about that TC, 1100 cals!!! Are you serious?! ^5!

Deb: It sounds like you have a lot on your plate at the moment. With Thanksgiving coming, I bet everyone has a lot to do. I forgot if you were having a gathering with your new microwaves. Nice step count by the way. If I don't count the workouts, most days I don't get 5000 steps in and that's with a 15 minute walk at lunch! Desk job....... Take care an get some good workouts in. Wow, all Chalean in one month! Does that leave any room for cardio?

Iris: I though of you last night at yoga. But you were probably working. For gym, I go to the Y. My kids have their daycare through there and they are signed up to be able to get a discount. It was only a little but more for us to join as a family so we did. I know it's a little better if you are single, but still pricey. Hope your Monday night was not too slow.

Amelia: You are getting some nice workouts in! That's great. I was laughing at the description of the tub of popcorn. Like you, I can't remember the last time I went to the movies with DH.

Lori: Yeah yoga can take up some time which is why I stopped a bit. But I need to take it up again because my back is starting to bother me. Sure sign I need to do it again. But you are right a 90 minute class can really cut into my time. But I do enjoy it and I like the hand balancing poses which present a nice challenge.

Cookie: Well I ended up just doing yoga last night. No running afterwards. How is your car situation working out?

Awesome: Welcome. Good job on starting STS. I am in the middle of Meso 2 (6 months rotation). I remember those pushups. Glad they are gone in Meso 2.

So went to my yoga class last night. It was nice and a great hip stretch. I was feeling too nice and loose to go run afterwards. At least that's my excuse and I am sticking to it :p. Today might turn into a rest day to boot. I think I'll just enjoy it. And tomorrow I go to yoga again. Two more days until the weekend. I can't wait!
 
Iris: You snuck in on me while I was posting and DD got up. I also go to yoga a lot at Heart Space Hollistic which is by Washington Park. They have a good array of classes. By the way, I have some other Cardio that I buy, but somehow I always end up with Cathe in the player. Go figure.....
 
Good Morning!

I rolled back over today when the alarm went off:confused: It was one of those mornings where I couldn't get up. Still trying to catch up on sleep, I think. Then I lay there for a while thinking that I really should get up. If I hadn't went back to sleep shortly after, I would have gotten up but then I slept for another hour off and on b/c DD was making a bit of noise while she was getting ready for school. Atleast it won't be so rat racey trying to get out of this house. I usually don't finish my workout until 8:30 and right now its 7:45 and I have nothing to do only sip my coffee. Hopefully I will get a workout of some sort in tonight but its always hard when I have to put DS to bed...oh wait...I have an idea...why don't I let DH put him to bed!:rolleyes:


I took out a few christmas decorations last night. DS wanted to play with everything that was breakable of course. I managed to get the tree up but not decorated. I usually go crazy and try to get everything done but Im going to try the opposite route this time and take my time. Prehaps i will be more cheerful when its all over! LOL I love the holidays but I hate putting lights on the tree! Not only that, I have been the only person to do it at work the last 4 yrs:confused: so I have to do that one to!

I also went and picked up my parcel from sears yesterday. I ordered a blouse to wear to our christmas party. So I get it and I take the top out and the packaging says "satin blouse" and I haul out a cotton tank top. Im thinking...WTF is this? I started wondering if this was what I actually ordered. Not to mention it was $50. I tried it on and it was o.k but I was still super confused so I had to go online and try to find the top that I wanted. Yeah..they messed up. Not to mention the thing had beading and a bow on it! Not something I would order at all! Ugh! So now I need to reorder it again.

Belinda** Good job with the workout and woo hoo...on the black dresses! You must feel awesome!!!! I love trying on clothes that use to be to tight. Before I had DS I wasn't big either, I was about 128-130 lbs now I am 122-123 lbs...not a big difference right? But there is a HUGE difference in my clothes. Im starting to think that maybe my shape changed after I had him. There were pants I could barely wear b/c they were so tight. After that, they were falling off of me. Not real normal for a 8 lbs dif, i wouldn't think.

Ameila** Good job getting a workout in on your rest day! I am thinking about taking a rest day but maybe I will suck it up and just do a 30 mins workout later this evening.

Cookie** I don't have a new TM...did I say i had a new TM? LOL Im confused! hehe! I even read yesterdays post....Hope you are having a good workout!

Helene** I need to get some short yoga dvds, I think i would do that..just 20 mins or so. I do need to stretch more, no doubt about that.

Iris** 4 hours of sleep...with no partying involved;) Well...thats just silly! LOL Hope you get a nap or something in today.

DS is totally taken up with the christmas decorations here. I think he forgot all about them. Wait until he get up tomorrow morning and the tree is decorated...should be interesting!

Good morning girls,

After work I will do push circuit 2 (CX). I'm not loving these workouts yet seem too easy compared to Cathe's. I will try to go heavier and see.

My boss is meeting me at one of my stores today and she will be helping me:)
We're also going to a Sears store today that they redid and are using as a test store to see if sales go up.

Belinda - Wow, that is such a great feeling when small clothes fit you again:) You and Amelia can both do a success story for Cathe!

Cookie - Gofitwear has a software program that graphs your progress you can also plug in what you eat. It also records how much time is actually spent sleeping. It's interesting we'll see. DH say's another "Gadget"

Iris - Sorry you couldn't sleep last night:( Boy you do clock in alot of steps:) you must wear out your shoes . . . I need to find a more comfortable pair.

Helene - For 10 years I was at a desk job it's weird I'm now on my feet all day. I should have become a hairdresser they make good money around here:)

Lori - Wow, your just like the stores with holiday decorations:) ahead of schedule. Santa Claus has been in the mall for 2 weeks already:eek: Maybe that's why your DS has been good:) I hope someone else isn't wearing your top:eek:

Amelia - I meant to congratulate you on your weight loss. You are doing great especially for this time of year:)

Hallo ladies,

Thanks guys for the nice compliments on the dresses. Those dresses are brand new; they still have the tags on it! Bought them a long time ago and always said one day I will fit in them again.

Lori, I watched AMA’s last night (we get all the shows a day late!), I can’t agree with you more about Lady Gaga and MJ! I turned it off after that, got bored with it! LOL! Awesome job on your 5 miles on the TM and 4 seg of BC. I can’t believe you put your Christmas tree up already, lol! If my kids are not coming this year, I will not decorate a thing, lol! You Miss Lori, look fantastic, you don’t need to lose more weight.

Helene, how do you feel after Scrambled eggs? That is one tough workout. WTG! After my PT, I got so tired, not sure why? Thought about going to the gym, just didn’t had it in me yesterday. One off those days, I guess! How was your yoga class last night? I am serious with my cal burn today. I am excited that I did a 5 miler on the TC more than the cal burn. That was tough today. I pushed it big times. Enjoy your rest day today.

Cookie, wtg on SJP/SB yesterday. That one feels like it goes on forever, lol! I need to google Gofitwear! Have fun with your workout today. Guess what, now DH wants to have a Thanksgiving this weekend. He invited my sisters, I am not so trilled about all the working. I wanna get a good workout in this weekend and relax! LOL!

Iris, nothing wrong lighten your weights.How is your pain today? Hope you feel better soon. WTG, on chest/ triceps workout. WOW, getting GS legs in on 4 hours sleep. Nice job! LOL, about your DOMS! You haven’t tried a CC yet? Oh, you have too!

Deb** Have a good day at work. I guess you have to work with your boss around! hehe! Oh wait..thats me Im talking about:eek: I brought the top back today b/c even though it was in the bag, there were no tags on the top and I didn't want them to think I was wearing it and then returning it. I told her it wasn't the top I ordered and she said that it was the 2nd thing returned today like that.

Belinda** No...Im not trying to lose weight. I just wish I could find some jeans to fit me sensible. Has soon as I lose a ounce I get butt sag...not nice at all:rolleyes: Your not gonna decorate!!!! I should come to your house and do it for you. I was thinking about that last night. What will I do when my children are gone? Makes me want to have more just so we won't be alone! LOL Dumb idea, I know;)

Hey girls

I woke up this morning thinking i was going to take a rest day,but i just couldn't stop thinking about all the food im eating thursday...soooooo, i did a 30min run interval then 4ds chest & back. Burned 460in all.

Great workout girls!

Any special plans for thanksgiving? Were having a small family dinner here,just the four of us so thankfully there won't be alot of family gatherings to go to(less food to worry about;)).

Iris-the last two intervals i did was my own mix. Did 2mins powerwalking/then two mins at a higher running speed(6.0 for me). I listened to some tunes to keep me motivated. Aerosmith,acdc,bon jovi...and some others.

Hey to everyone else, Cookie..i will check out that book! gotta scoot,were heading off to wallly world,sigh,agian...

Amelia, I ran into the library tonight, thinking of you, and ended up leaving with six more books. That's in addition to the pile I already have. Got Hothouse Flower, can't remember the rest of it, but it's a novel, Tosca Reno's new clean eating cookbook, and I can't remember the others! Wish you were near me to remind me of Thursday's eating before I ate a few lemon-choc cookies and Milk Duds! I don't even really care for Milk Dud! I really need to stop stress eating.
Lori, no I was just wondering how you were liking your (newer) tm. Sorry for the confusion.
Deb, I don't know what to do with the darn car. It is 11 yrs old, 200,000+ miles and four brand-new tires. It's had some electrical issues, so all of a sudden the sun roof will open - even if it is 25 degrees out. But I can park it anywhere and it doesn't matter if it gets dinged. The hatchback is great for my dogs and work crap. Just not sure if it is worth repairing it, when it is that old and worn. How many steps today? I could really get into the data and nerdiness of the gadget. You'll have to keep me posted on your thoughts regarding it.
Helene, bet you feel great after your yoga class. Glad you got it it, and rested a wee bit. You need it.
Iris, wonder if that other Cookie is about my age. Probably. You know how names and nicknames tend to go by generations. Leaner Legs is really the only wo I do from CTX, and you will love sts! Are you getting shock cardio? Check out Mindy Mylrea's if you want to try something different than Cathe. She give a tough wo.
